I'm thinking the K'Veck Class fits into the Enterprise C era better than TNG as a precursor to the Vor'Cha Class. It is definitely a worthy successor to the K'Tinga let alone the D7.
Nice Showcase!😅 Loved this ship when I first saw it in SFC3, very rough putting her against SFRD's Galaxy Class. 😂😂😂 Still, the D37 is a great cruiser in the Klingon Fleet. Now to see the C9 and E7 in action... and the goofy-looking Jose...😂😂😂
I always figured that the Klingon's, while having shields, preferred armored plating (and maybe polarizing it). The shields were weak and just there to just protect the green paint while the armor did the real work. Klingon 'boatman's mates (BM)' would need to get out there and repaint that.
Yeah we know that from Star Trek Enterprise episode: The Augments. The Bridge of the 22nd century bird of prey was protected with dispersive armour & Enterprises weapons will never penetrate it.
@@DanBen07tbf the nx-01 was really weak compared to the state of the art at the time so it can't really be said that they couldn't penetrate the Klingon armor because the Klingons focused on armor. Maybe they wouldn't be able to damage Vulcan ship armor either.

Very nice ship.. and yes a nice model for the the replacement of the ship, love the color scheme and style.. very nice.. I could see that the Ent D, the phasers look like from Picard.. just saying.. I keep seeing the damage the old D7 did to Voyager, 80 years difference and Voyager shakes and rattles lol.. hmm. yes about the door sounds on the ships.. oh my.. read that the sound used in the J.J. movie 2009 from 😨 Russian train's toilet flushing... ok. wow.. lol!!! 😊🖖
lol! Totally forgot about that. I suppose a bigger class of ship can still hurt a smaller one. Maybe the Klingons made some upgrades along the way as well. That’s hilarious about the JJ door sound effect, never knew that! 😂🖖

It may not be a match for the Galaxy, but it is a very sturdy cruiser for the Klingons. Better than the obligate ambush predator that is the BoP Cruiser for that 2330-2363 era. A lot more versatile too. I imagine the Klingons can use this as an explorer too.

So it was after this D-37 would have been in service for a few decades. I think the Vorcha is actually a little tougher than the Ambassador. I would say at the Nebula level.

It is a nice looking design, for a Klingon ship. I never liked their bridge location, stuck out on a goose neck. I wonder if they have an auxiliary control room further aft, in the main body.
Klingon ships almost always have weaker shields their fleet doctrine is to hunt in packs So I would think this ship would never 1v1 a galaxy without its 2 birds of prey escorts. Also next time hack into Laforge's visor to get the shield frequencies first then sucker punch em.
I'd say a Sovereign class would have a hard time taking down the Negh'var. Just watch how it overpowers the shields on DS9 with a fierce barrage (supported by two Vor'cha class). I wonder how this ship is supposed to compare to a K'Vort or Vor'Cha....how large is it?
Correct, the Vorcha was the high-end Klingon ship in the cruiser vein during the TNG Era. The D37 would be more akin to a pre-Vorcha or a sister ship, but a good ship

The new AI definitely made the ambassador fight harder. I wonder how that klingon ship would have fared against an earlier version of Galaxy

Klingons had the vorcha as well in canon, which seemed somewhat equivalent to the Ambassador

i like the design it looks good and power wise not bad at all stronger than a ambassador but weaker as a galaxy.
So, this stands slightly above an Ambassador. One wonders how Narendra III would have gone down had the Klingons had this to fight those V'Melaks.
