I anticipated all of this but I'm going to buy it anyways because I want to support the company in the hopes that they will make enough off this to make a better sequel. I did the same thing with Mortal Shell. Great concepts but not great gameplay can usually be fixed with a larger budget!
Considering that the first WtA game that was made for the n64 got canned before it even made it halfway through development, I think it's safe to say that the Wyrm's hasn't worried about losing in the gaming department for quite some time. Usually I do not comment on videos like this but I could not agree more. the Skyrim werewolf gameplay still is the best
I think the hole tes series has better werewolf gameplay maybe bethesda should make a werewolf the Apokalypse game
I disagree, its barebones mechanically, there are no combos, there is no stealth-like prowl or different stances, or dodge, or wolf form like in this game. If it had actually gameplay mechanics of WTA..that would be fun.
I've been trying to decide if buying this on series x or ps5...welp not buying thank you for saving my wallet this morning
This is seriously so upsetting. I remember when I first saw the cinematic trailer I was so excited as I LOVE werewolf lord of any kind.
I anticipated all of this but I'm going to buy it anyways because I want to support the company in the hopes that they will make enough off this to make a better sequel. I did the same thing with Mortal Shell. Great concepts but not great gameplay can usually be fixed with a larger budget!
That’s a great idea to support the developers!
The Wyrm won this round
Considering that the first WtA game that was made for the n64 got canned before it even made it halfway through development, I think it's safe to say that the Wyrm's hasn't worried about losing in the gaming department for quite some time. Gotta get some competent Glass Walkers on the next one or that's another dub for the dubster.
Pros: decent graphics, fun to play
Cons: storyline dialogue
You forgot Repetitive missions
Main thing I liked about this game was the tattoo on his arm. I guess running around as a wolf was kinda fun for a little bit.
Hey people, any suggestions for vampires/werewolf games (other the vampire the masquerade and vampyr) would be appreciated
Yeah, because that’s what I want when I’m a huge powerful werewolf.... stealth
I enjoy the game but I can understand the criticism hope we get a big budget werewolf game some day
Is it like the surge
Anyone know where tf in Australia you can actually buy this game?
Usually I do not comment on videos like this but I could not agree more. The graphics and the full feel of the game seemed dated as well the only thing I do want to point out is that Endron is ACTUALLY a setting piece in the Table top game, however the method in which they opted to handle it come off more Merch Gas company then what it actually stood for in the book
Makes you feel like a werewolf
Thanks IGN you’ve definitely sold this game to me when it goes cheap. I love a £5 budget game that scores poorly. I enjoyed Left Alive so that tells you all you need to know.
I dream of a game fully set in the World of Darkness, where you can be any creature of the night you want. Vampire, werewolf, mage/witch or even a hunter; it's your call. One day, maybe...
Skyrim
@@OrganizationXIII Oh, I do like Skyrim. That being said, it is not set in the World of Darkness, so totally not what I'm talking about ;P
If this game came out on the PS2 and I had rented it I would've loved it. And this would have been a remaster that I would have appreciated
Nice idea, but poor executions. It’s a type of game that would be forgotten by a lot of people.
Seem like the type of game people who played Prototype would love
Something told me to wait for a review and this being the third I’ve watched this morning glad I didn’t preorder on the Epic Store
I don't get it doesn't the developer knows that his game has all these flaws ?? Or does he ignores it and hope that people would love it ? ? All the time spent on this game were for nothing... It Could have been a great game with more time and more effort and creativity..
damn i had so much hope for this :/
This looks like the same engine and assets from Greedfall. Efenthe same dead eyes in the characters
Lest greedfall was little fun.
I feel as though this game could've definitely been better if it had got the combat flow relative to prototype. That game is fun as hell, and this one feels as though it should run off of that.
They should've released it with an animated movie to tell a prequel story and explain the high concepts. EA does that well. It's all they do well.
