So chemical companies poisoned water supplies with PFAS, but it is up to citizens to pay for monitoring and removal of PFAS from the water supply. How about a massive tax/fine on chemical companies?

Why are there "acceptable" levels of PFAS in our drinking water? And why only monitoring six of the PFAS chemicals when there are many more? Why would citizens have to pay a higher price for getting chemicals out of drinking water when it was corporation who put the chemicals in the drinking water?

Mmm. Water is a chemical, dihydrogen monoxide. It usually carries a bunch of natural minerals, and other compounds added to make it safe to drink (like chlorine) or to improve health (like fluoride). The only absolutely pure water is the distilled one.

The rate of cancer has skyrocketed in modern times.
PFAS chemical reduction will very likely help us scale it back. In 20 years, we will wonder why it took us this long to do something about it, like asbestos and lead paint.
Is there any way of knowing who’s at risk of the water poisoning?
iirc theres a website that tells you what level of those chemicals have been found but i dont remember what it's called. maybe somebody else will.

yep. Corporate greed has had a major part and impact on us since Covid---making record profits---not just profits as all businesses are expected to have, but record profits? that is the price gouging, and the inflationary aspect. We are the ones who suffer.

Housing prices are the ones that need to be addressed there is way too many elderly people people just trying to get by that are going home with and it's not just drug addicted alcoholics it's people like me I became homeless and lived with somebody paid half the rent never could save enough money with a limit of what time I needed to be moved out but housing prices are so expensive it's over $1,000 for just a studio apartment

I imagine she is suing for much more than she thinks she'll get - and accounting for the amount that will go toward her attorneys, medical bills, and taxes. She probably has to choose another career now, after all of this, so she may also be thinking of relocation costs and continuing education costs. If she gets anything, it will only be after years of medical bills and unemployment, so there will be debt from expenses that have built up. She's probably hoping for a couple million when it's all said and done.
Now the assistant principal was fired in Virginia, but NONE of the school officials at Oxford high school in Michigan were fired after four children were killed, that's not right.

Two of those justices are up for renewal votes in November. Bolick and King. We need to vote no and send them to the unemployment line. Bolick has a GOP relative in the legislature, she needs to be shown the door as well as all of the GOP that refused to vote to pass the bill reversing that 1864 bills.

I hope Abigail and the teacher’s at Richneck Elementary are healing from that incident. As well as the high school in Michigan. America was the greatest country in the world. America had the highest standard of living. America was the land of opportunity. You could buy something with a dollar. You could move out and rent a place to live and get cable TV on minimum wage. You could afford College. There were career opportunities. There were goods and services. There was little to no crime.
Local police departments handled complaints. Children didn't bring guns to school. There were labor unions and trade schools. There were bars and ice cream parlors. Everyone in your family had the same doctor. There was art and music.
The U.S. chose capital and materialism and war over its citizens.
WHAT?!?! I am American and will say your statement is not based in reality. Some of those things existed for some Americans, but not all. It was never the greatest country…there is no “greatest country”. Some country are better in some ways than others. This is an infantile way of looking at the world. This is the arrogance that exists for some people there. You have no clue what the rest of world is like. Some of the highest standards of living in the world is actually not in the U.S. Most of the safest countries in the world, year after year, per the Global Peace Index are in Europe. That arrogance and lack of being informed on how the U.S. functions is why the country is where it is. That hubris is its Achilles heel.
Corporate America hijacked the political process using it’s agility to create legislation that favored there bottom line. There isn’t any kind of corporate interest in the communities that they serve. They live for each quarters profits. Working people have no little control over their lives and are frustrated. Private equity which comprise mostly of wealthy investors buy up real estate, driving up prices, which in turn turn those who can’t afford to buy into renters who fill coffers of the wealthy. Feudalism is back with the monarchy and church replaced by corporations.
You should look around and inspect the Democratic Socialist countries. Now that China's economy has surpassed ours we have competition.

17:00 - That is ambitious and possible. It wouldn't be easy. Hopefully they can make a decent profit while also delivering workable plans to the field. It would be ideal if they could also account for changing product types, like fitting tools and the clearances needed to use them. Hopefully the software would also be able to adjust parameters to be site specific, to consider double walls facing a highway, sloped lots, beach homes on piers / pylons, and "first homes." If that system can't adjust to the times, adjust to failures or quirks, adjust to the skill of the labor market... It will become a quagmire. They'll spend more time and money dueling with the software, than the time it would take for architects to do it with existing CAD tools.
Edit: Producing concept renderings is one thing. Producing CAD diagrams is another. They haven't demonstrated the latter in this broadcast.
