- I do NOT own any of the content of this video. With the purpose of giving fans of Ghost the best possible quality visuals and audio of this show, I have mixed together various video clips from RUclips and remastered the audio from Swedish radio (SR). This is the stereo soundboard recording without any DJ voice over. Video angles by @AIKGandolf and @fredify34. Visit them for the original uncut clips!
i wish i saw this set of ghouls live, i hate that i only got into ghost this year cause theyre the best band ive ever stumbled upon
Amen ;)
Hands down the OG lineup. Saw them in Chattanooga and it was the best of the five shows I’ve seen by far
I read somewhere that Tobias wants Ghost to feel like a band "you missed out on" and I gotta say, as someone who just got into them last year, he nailed it lol
so do I

+M. Bero I started banging my head so hard at the epic intro of Mummy Dust that I thought I would hit my laptop
+M. Bero thank you! :D
+M. Bero i dont hear shine on you crazy diamond are they erally playing it?
Yes, in the intro to "Cirice" they play the opening notes to "Shine On Your Crazy Diamond" before going into the usual Cirice intro.
This truley is the greatest new band out there. Nobody sounds like them and that singer is one of the best Ive ever heard.
Tuf Duff fuckin true his voice is epic
I would agree but I must say, there are many , many voices across music far superior to his. I think the reason his voice fits the band so well is that all the music is reasonably simple, including especially the drums (apart from spirit) and his singing. But his voice does suit the band to make it fucking brilliant.
@Jeremy Chandler If it's not Bruce Dickinson, it's wrong.
Good? Yup, definitely really good
The best? Hmmm i wouldn't call it that
I love ghost so much and they are up there with my favorite bands of all time but Tobias isn't "the best vocalist ever" come on. I think he has great taste in the way he uses his beautiful voice though
I feel like since he has worn a mask you hear the echo and the pressure of the mask on his face inhibits his facial movement.
Without the mask epic. With it.. questionable, I hope he gets rid of the mask
This is when Ghost was at their best. Miss them
it was because of the synergy between the original ghouls and Papa without the ego
@@atillaugan5043 that's it! They are not terrible now , but they used to be so much better.
@@SoCalDan530 indeed, I still like them, but man the magic is really fighting to survive, and it shows in the result of the new album... Imagine if the original ghouls were in it!
I agree, this era of ghost is better
*Papa:* So, let's see how fucking smart you are.
*Random guy in the crowd:* Tobiaaaaas.
Lool
As a huge fan of Ghost, and also a big audiophile, I'd like to say that you Hans von Bell is a saint for editing and uploading this video!
One of the best sounds of any live video I've seen on youtube.
Thank you so much Chris! :)
I'm not entirely sure that Hans can be called a saint... We are in the realm of devilry here! I will say that Hans is pretty much at the level of Asmodeus for doing this. Pretty legit.
Eric Williams Yeah, I'll +1 that xD
Chris yea absolutely, and i wanna add that this audio here is better than most of the professional recordings bands make and then sell as "live albums". So, amazing job Hans von Bell!!
Chris of Scandinavia and whatever the proper term4 video-phile is (!), I give him super props! The multi-cam is eye-gasmic!! 😂 ♥
this grandmother of nine can not wait to see them again May 19 in Indianapolis!
Wow , thought I was alone. Thanks for sharing! Another ghost loving Gran!

Tobias and Martin are brilliant musicians. My respect for both of them.
what a band. WHAT A BAAAAAAND. Thank you guys for the great music. Take all my money.
Right? From discovery to obsession took all of about 2 hours for me. Started out as an unenthusiatic, "Oh what's this going to be?" to "Okay. Better than I expected." to "Actually, this is pretty good." to "This is REALLY good!" to I bought all of their albums and listen to them daily now.
+elusivEuphoria They really are satanic. How else are this good? Rock on Ghost.
+elusivEuphoria Basically the same story for me XD
I was the same way, I was actually listening to Metallica's Moth into Flame and RUclips recommended Square Hammer, so I gave it a click and was like, "yeah that's pretty good, oh what's this one called Cirice?" That was a week ago and I've hardly listened to anything else since.
Completely agree. Went from one song played on my radio station - Cerice. I heard it a couple times coming home from a late night working. Never caught the band name for the first three or four times I heard it. Then I caught the name, looked them up on RUclips. Okay, these guys are a little different. Then - pow! Got hit right square in the brain and heart by this band. Completely amazing and completely obsessed at this point. Zero to hopeless in no time at all.
The best sounding live video I've ever heard on youtube. Fucking great!
Tack så mycket Pär! :)
Ja, fullständigt makalöst ljud. Trodde först att jag var full eller något. Kan det verkligen vara så här bra ljud tänkte jag. Fucking skitbra!
Låter för bra för att vara inspelat med mobiltelefon.

I love how they start with Spirit; That song is great for an opening.
Yes!!!!
The music piece was used in Stanley Kubriks last movie, Eyes Wide Shut from 1999.
Masked Ball, yes. He was talking about Spirit.
Evan Horvath My bad. Misunderstood as he said "opening"
My daughter turned me onto Ghost!! They're the best band that's caught my eye in a long time. The music rocks but I personally like the Re-Imperative most🖤🤘🏼✌🏼
I'm so darn proud to see how my 15y old daughter is turning into a huge Ghost fan all by herself after I took her to her first big rock concert this year (Kiss).
This is like the true Ceremony And Devotion
44:29 the voice harmony is wonderful ! cirice
This is the best band in the world. Period.
and Cardiacs.
This tour was my first Ghost concert
Best concert I've ever been to
Miss this era, they're not the same anymore
Ghost still be Ghost
Papa is absolutely feeling it during mummy dust. as he should be, its incredible. rock on boys
we need more people like papa
Wicked good job on this recording! Ghost is the best thing to happen in metal since Maiden.
+sickb2200 I totally agree with you, you nailed it. I've seen Maiden many times and seeing Ghost live not so long ago had the same effect on me
+sickb2200 what?!? not stryper??
+sickb2200 can't fucking agree more. i'm a die hard maiden fan, saw them live a few times, along with some other big bands of metal/rock and then saw ghost in a hall for about 1000 people and got blown away hard, ghost are fucking true as fuck, best band since ... i don't know, seriously fucking awesome
puckoster Yeah, I saw them in a venue about the same size. Good bands need to get back to playing more intimate stages. Ya know, those places where every seat is a good seat. I hate watching shows from more than 20 yards away. I'm going to see Ghost again next month in a slightly larger venue, but it's general admission and I'll get up close.
Maybe that is why they both Played together 2 days ago in Berlin...Ghost, and Iron Maiden the same day....And I Never heard any Ghost song before now I love them and "He Is" is spooking around in my head since I first heard i it 40 Hours ago
goddamn this gave me chills... Pinnacle to the pit sounds even better live.
Soon they will capture the whole universe !
As I read the comments attached to this video. I see that they all have one thing in common. This band is destined for greatness. I can't believe just how good their latest record is. I must admit, I did not "get it" the first few times I heard them. Secular Haze was my intro to them. Then I looked deeper and could not connect their image to the sound. A few more listens pulled me right in. These guys do it right every song. Can't wait for April 17th. That will be the day we come together as one. HAIL GHOST !!!
6 years later they're playing giant arenas... crazy shit
It's a shame they never made it and have since faded into total obscurity. :(
Impera is #2 in the Billboard 200 in the States, week 2 after release.
Thanks, Hans, for making sure to show the keyboardist during his solos. And thanks to the audio engineers.
You're welcome!
The mummy dust solo here sounds so much better than the new one
Agree
I’ve never been a huge of Ghuleh but this live performance goes a long way to convince me of its merits.
It too is a banger.
Felt the same until listening to Ceremony and Devotion. Live is often best when it comes to Ghost.
World domination in the making, mark my words. Edit: Forgot to say THANK YOU Hans, for this great job of yours!
+Joacim Öhman Wow! Thank you for those words! Tack Joacim! :)
+Joacim Öhman I have a pretty kick ass system in my Truck and I jam this shit loud. Ghost is suck a great band that I drove 5 hours to see them and got a hotel room for after the show and drove back home the next day. well worth it.
+Joacim Öhman I tell people they could be the biggest metal band on the planet in four -five years, and some scoff. They have their whole look/act/sound/performance down pat. The whole thing is as professionally sound as it is entertaining. They just need more people to drift their way, and they will because they aren't heavy enough to keep casual rocks fans, or women, away. Im pulling for these guys.
+Finch Lynch Winning the Grammy will surely help.
You might be right. This Stockholm gig is the best form i have ever seen them in - and that sets the standards pretty high for me. So i'm not overly impressed with what i have seen so far with the new bunch. I'll visit the same venue again at the end of the month and would love to be proven wrong though.
As someone who has watched most, if not all, Ghost video's on RUclips this is surely one of the best.
Ghost is honestly one of the best bands in the entire world. I hope I can get to see them one day.
And they’ve come a remarkably long way since you posted this comment.
Did you ever see them live?
@@belyear no sadly. The stars just haven’t aligned yet. Still holding onto hope that I can one day.
Where do you live? I just saw them last week in Texas and omg it blew my damn mind!
I just unliked this video, so I can like it again. I wish there was a "THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME" button.
+VixenEmpress Thx!
Amazing concert - I have watched this many times - my favorite band !
i miss this Ghost...
Nikki Zweden you miss the real Ghost what we have now is a poor imitation 🤘
Ghost today is like a Ghost cover band
The only 2 times I've seen ghost were short sets, this is how they are meant to be witnessed, in glorious arena set fashion....
perfect guitarists
I totally wanna see this band.
+David G They are hitting the US again in March/April
east coast. I hope they tour Canada.
Worth every penny
I bet!!.. Best band in years!!
+David G I am in 37 hours and 25 minutes. Cant wait!!!!First show of the 2nd leg of the north American Black to the future tour!!!! so excited!!!!
6:38 Alpha & Omega.. so amazing !
Water as well, listen that bass, it's fkn awesome!
I love how they start their concerts with the satanic prayer/chant with the red lights pointing toward the crowd
Wow, my ears and stereo looooove this sound recording ....bass is thumping and bite of guitars coming thru like a horned goat on the attack!!!Best ever!
I've been aware of Ghost's existence for quite a while, but never paid much attention. Yesterday I came across this video after seeing them winning the Grammy. OMG, I'm a new fan now. I just ordered Meliora on vinyl and just found out that they will be playing near me in next April. Need to get tickets soon!
Still a fan? Ghost rules🤘🏻🤘🏻👻
@@maddyboombaddybaddy6532 still a big fan, yep
I was at this show at Annexet, Stockholm. It was truly amazing and this video really captures the vibe, so a big thanks the creators. I was already a big Ghost fan 2015 and had seen them several times in shows based on the first two albums and EP's. When the Meliora album was released I was a bit confused at first, mostly because it sounded so good production wise compared to the earlier "cult, lo-fi" albums. But I remember when being at this show I thought, "f#ck, these new songs are soooo good and powerful!". And that's what you hear here (!). The opening with Spirit and From a pinnacle to the pit is so incredibly good! Everything in this show is perfect and the video captures it. I still love Ghost allthough I miss the "creepier" feel they had before. I'm looking forward to the new album Impera. I think the new single Twenties is super after a few spins! 🙂
Regarding the creepier feel: the movie version of Hunter's Moon vs the Record version is such a massive vibe change, but both versions are too good to only choose one!
Thanks for sharing! We just saw the film on Thursday and we were blown away! I have yet to see them live, hopefully next tour. Cheers.
I liked the old lineup so much more
Thanks. This is great. The rhythm guitarist's tone is sick
+Manly and Loving It Thanks, you are welcome.
I can't stop watching this....this is the best multicam edit with the BEST sound quality I have ever seen and heard on a youtube production. Ghost killed it the entire show. I appreciate your efforts and thank you!!
+Rob Schaper Many thanks! :)
@@hansvonbell6129 agreed, even 4 years later there is not a better recording, I've watched this at least 20 times.
This one and pink floyds 1994 pulse are the top two concert shows on youtube!!!!
To be fair they don't sound anywhere near as good now with their new gear and new live style. They made all their songs so heavy live but when Cardinal came they are a new group of people with new gear and a lot more on synths on keyboard.
I NEED to hear this band cover "Don't Fear the Reaper."
well....they are the new Blue Oyster Cult.
Being saying that for so long, it has to happen!
Heard their cover of Here Comes the Sun?
@@minabautista169 That really is a song for them! Liseberg 2014 live show's last song (here in RUclips) is great! I wish I could understand the last words he says there - its latin/italian but cannot get it - "pater" or "padre" is the last word. It is funny how they twist "sun" to "son" and "it's alright" to "he's alright" etc.
Search for "dont fear the reaper in the style of Ghost".
This is truly a piece of beauty. What a great job of video and sound editing. Nice work, Hans von Bell!
And, yes, Ghost is marching their way to world domination.
+John Hagemann Thanks a lot John, glad you enjoyed it! :)
You weren't exactly wrong! 🤘
The sound quality here is absolutely amazing. These guys are SO tight live. What a treat! Thank you for the upload. BTW - heaviest version of Ritual I've heard on youtube.
+Brian W Thx Brian! Glad you liked it, and yes, Ritual sounds amazing. I was at the show (front row) and they sounded fantastic live, not just on the recording.
Discovered them last sunday by accident. Listened to all of their albums and there is not ONE song I didn't like. This Tobias is one hell of a songwriter. Thank you for uploading this video. The audio is awesome. This one and pink floyds pulse 94 are the top two concert shows on youtube!!!!
I have listened to black metal for a long time, and I don't care what anyone says this is one of the greatest black metal bands to ever walk this earth or any plain of life. I really like this band and thanks for the upload.
great quality on the sound and video, great job. thanks
Thanks!
Thank you ReX! :)
But.. this is definitely not black metal
If you think this is black metal, I doubt you've listened to that genre for very long...
This lineup is the best. And the beast.
Hands down.
Thanks for uploading!
The last good line up. Everything else has been sub par, including Prequelle and the Prequelle tour.
I was there up front. When Ghost peaked!
Jag med. Ghost dog när Martin gick
I like so much this concert, I'm from Mexico I dont even went to that concert
i miss the old ghost, i am honored to have seen the original ghost five times, they were magical
iamjesper, my friend, they were and still are
You're lucky. Have'nt any chances to see / to hear Ghost alive. White bears & black penguines do a lot of obstacles.
The original Ghouls (as they were, knowing they changed some) were lightning in a bottle.
This is why the internet was invented, thank you so much for this as well as the soundcloud link. I've been praying (to Satan) that they would put out a live album but you solved this problem. Much appreciated!
+Nick Faust Thank you so much for those words Nick! It was a pleasure making the video and remastering the audio, as I too, badly wanted a live album and video (with great audio quality) from this band. The fact that I personally attended this particular show (front row) made it even more enjoyable. I have made some major enhancements to the video after posting this, here is the link if you are interested: ruclips.net/video/3kTxRlkqo_k/видео.html
This,
"Simon & Garfunkel - Live in Central Park, 1981"
"Blind Guardian - "Imaginations Through the Looking Glass"

I keep coming back. Hope you are well. Hugsss!!!
Hey Alma, good to be hearing from you again. Send me a PM if you like! :)
Hans von Bell
Still watching... Hope you're well, my friend. 🤘
Why haven't I heard of these guys befor ? Super - lovem. "He Is " is my favorite so far.
Went to the Palladium show... wow!
just realized that he spoke english the whole time just to remain in character
LOL! I was thinking the same thing: Swedish band playing to a Swedish audience in Sweden yet speaking in....English!
Papa's banter is hilarious. Totally cheered me up today.
I love this band
This version of Jigolo Har Megiddo is the best, period. The outstanding audio mixing PLUS 12 string guitars is perfection.
Would love to see this band in person
Interesting... such an attractive mix of influences. Love it!
When I listen to some of these songs, most notably but not only Monstrance Clock and Ghoule/Zombie Queen, I remember some old clips with Genesis from early seventies, Peter Gabriel era. The powerful endings of Watcher of the Skies, Supper's ready and Musical Box, with Gabriel in full majestic outfit and makeup... not sure if any of that has actually influenced these guys, but sounds and seems to me like Ghost are trying to achieve something similar - and succeed!
Thx for a great video!!
Man, I do love Genesis of that period tho...Selling England by the Pound for first..I agree w/ u.
As a fan of Genesis as well, I wholly agree
👍 Super concert
This show blows my mind
Helt makalöst. Dom låter nästan bättre live än på albumen.
Håller med
This sir, is a work of love, and probably some healthy form of obsession! Thank you for this. Had the luck to see them live precisely in November 2015 in Porto for the first time, and it was fucking brilliant!! Very sad that they're not playing PT this year. Last concert before the pandemic was ghost! Would have gladly initiated new concert season with them
This is more pro than most pros. Sound, editing, video quality-excellent work.
The audio is amazing thanks from a fan that has not had the pleasure to see them live yet ! got this on repeat !
If you have ghost you have everything
Great sound and picture. Best Ghost concert on RUclips!!!! The best period of this band's career. The best musicians in the history of the band, and finaly - the best setlist. Very, very thanks for You Hans \m/
El mejor recital de ghost de su historia!!! En sonido . Calidad..todo..un 100
If you watch this, there is no way you can say that the people playing the Ghouls's didn't contribute anything besides the on stage playing. The mannerisms and styles of people like Martin and Simon make the material stand out.I hope the new record lives up....
I miss Martin so much.
@@JasonOlsen I think the new ghouls are just as good. Simon did work with the two first records and should have got the fair share of the incomes from that just as the other songwriters, producers etc. Bad decisions from the judges in court but it also teaches everyone involved to write clear contracts from the beginning. Greed is everywhere.
New fan here. Martin being which guitar, black or white?

Still my fave Ghost lineup and show. I see you, Hans! Hope all is well brother!
What a show !!! Splendid ! Especially on "He is" when all the audience sings.... and acoustic Jigolo Har Megiddo, and... and... everything is so fab ! Thanks for this great video :-)
This is fucking EPIC. And hardly any mobiles in the crowd. Respect.

Ghost is my favorite band of all time
I can't wait to see them live someday
I was there and this is one of The best concerts i been to. The audio was recorded by p3live, a radio channel in Sweden. The random halfcrap video-recordings must been intenitional??? It's much better like this than a superproduced live-concert.
It's just a sync. Someone took all the RUclips clips, remastered the p3 audio slightly, then threw them together
@@leeroden7900 I kind of know that yes, but it's impressive they got the whole concert covered with random videoclips from fans.
such a great show
Wow! Wonderful job mixing this together Hans. Sounds great, looks awesome! I can tell you put a lot of work into editing this video and it is appreciated.
Thanks you so much Marshall! :)
Ghost is one of the very best bands that I have ever seen live. I am very critical of live bands because i am also a musician and Ghost had never dissapointed me. You can tell that Papa is always singing (instead of lip syncing) because occasionally he is flat but always awesome.
Excellent recording!
Hans, Fantastic Work! I saw Ghost in Indianapolis, Indiana USA in July and I must say, your work captures the live experience extremely well. Thank you very much!
i can watch from 1st concert to now over n over
+Hyrum Taylor Glad you liked it! :)
Ghost peaked here i'm sorry to say. This is the ultimate Ghost experience. The perfect mix between what they were when they started and what they would become. A rock'n'roll show perfected. Fuck, i miss the old band.
100%. Never been the same post Omega
This is friggin' awesome! Not just the show itself but the quality of the video is outstanding, too! Thanks for the excellent work!
As for Ghost: This has to be their best era by far until now. I still like the newer stuff (writing this right after the release of 'Impera') but it has somehow lost much of its hymnic, hard and dark edge that makes this so epic and all encompassing.
Woooow, whatta concert!!! You, Sir, deserve a medal!
Thx! :)
At 1:34:11 he's talking to me
Cuando Omega baja, ahhhh lo amo y lo extraño jajaj
Best live vid ever!
