Cool to see Reggie reppin' Bitmap Books! I've known about them for a while but didn't get into buying any of their stuff until a few months ago. But now I have 10 of their books already! I have some of their great visual compendiums for some older systems (I have NES, SNES, SEGA Master System, and Atari 2600/7800), The Ultimate History of Metal Slug, The Ultimate History of King of Fighters, the Beat 'Em Up, JRPG, and Point & Click guides, and a cool book about unreleased games called "The Games That Weren't". Very cool, high quality stuff that's chock full of content, and they have plenty more. I probably sound like I'm being paid to promote their stuff, but they're just that good. They also have a book on CRPGs that I really want, but they're making a new edition of it that isn't out for about a year, so I guess I'll have to wait.

I had Andro Donos 2 on my watch list for over a month now, had to pull the trigger now! The music is right down my alley and the gameplay looks amazing! Can't wait to beat it. Iridium 2 on GBA is also awesome that I learned from watching your older pick up videos, still relevant to this day!

Jason you probably already own a physical copy of Quake 2 remastered. Quake 4 on the xbox 360 includes a remastered version of Quake 2. I think it's the very first HD remastered (or physical remastered game) video game ever made.
Always love these pickups videos! Reggie is the best. Also, picked up two playstation games recently that I'm loving - Chasm and CrossCode. Can't recommend them enough, definitely worth checking out if you haven't
Playing Postal 2 back in the day is still one of my favorite memories playing games. I remember literally losing my breath from the laughter! The pissing anywhere and on anyone, shooting anything or anyone, using a cat as a silencer, lighting things on fire, pouring gasoline on people and making them scared and start running, killing protesters against the game devs, etc! I could go on for ages! Buying the milk in the beginning sets the mood. You end up having to kill this shop owner who sees you steal the milk since you can't afford it. Shut the store down and pulls out an AR 😂🤣
Always dig watching you two guys (both separate as well as individual) nerding-out and one up’g each other with hidden gems and commonly appreciated, yet fully diverse games; the content is always spectacular and the friendship is genuine and real which always is the perfect compliment to uncovering some of these gaming gems. If you ever need to set up an MJR trap, looney toons style, just get ANY racing game and set it under a large box with a stick and a string. You will have your very own MJR in a matter of minutes. 😆 To be honest one of my guilty-est pleasures was playing Road Trip, Everywhere! (Then I heard from MJR about the other 2 in that franchise and it was on!)

Is it just me or has everything shifted to a rpg or some kind of new release centered around an older platform/style of game.(homebrew) It just seems to me that the real games are being discussed about less these days. I understand that your channel is old and you have covered every topic in the past already. I guess I'm just that guy who like reruns, refuses to grow old, and is here for nostalgia... Please please please have a serious sit through with Breath Of The Wild. I was the same as you and didn’t get this until a year after release. This is easily the best game I’ve ever played and I’ve been a gamer since I was writing games out for the ZX81! Once you learn why the weapons break you’ll love the mechanic. It basically stops you from using one weapon the whole game, you have to think if you’re going to attack an enemy and risk loosing a good weapon of if you can kill it with another lesser weapon. I wish I could forget this game so I can have the experience all over again, I’m actually jealous of you that you still have that experience to go through. Every part of the map has something hidden to find and you can do everything in any order you want. Man I hope you give this a try.
Loved Strange Brigade when it came out. Had a great time with friends. It had a lot of potential as an expanding franchise, and I wanted to see where else they could go with the Universal Horror-esque theme. But it was severely hampered by its pricing. Standard full price for a very short game (a handful of hours) was a hard thing to swallow, especially when it requires 2-3 friends to also pay full price to get the most enjoyment out of it. On top of that, it had expensive DLC that only offered a few more levels and characters, and honestly should have been included in the base game. So not many people were able to justify the money sink to content ratio, and the game and its possibilities died on the vine. That said, I'd still love to see more expansions or a full sequel, as the game itself--small as it may be--has a very fun theme, great presentation, and is a fun time with friends.
Love easing into the weekend watching these videos! Fracture brings back good memories, remember finding the mechanic cool at the start but then got a bit repetitive towards the end. Think it was one of the last Xbox 360 games I played prior to going tunnel visioned on ranked Halo3 and then becoming a pc gamer after that. Fracture is one of my favorite games from that generation (i really enjoy a lot of lower to mid level budget games) and have been wanting to make a video about it for years. Glad to see it get a shout out
You unlocked some memories for me with Fracture! I had completely forgotten about that game. As a broke college student I never owned it but I do remember playing the demo a lot and playing around with the terrain a bunch!
