Never felt offended or disrespected by the silliness, even getting whistled at or pelted with snowballs on site, although young, I was mature enough to take it all as what it was, harmless fun. The Korean military is involved in the lives of every adult male in the country. The vast majority view it fondly. Besides, Korean refugees would actually contribute and assimilate instead of trying to take over the country. They're model immigrants in America. They even give their kids American birth names. Some of the most diehard patriotic Americans I've met were Korean, remember the Rooftop Koreans in LA.
