I did a landscaping job for an old lady last summer. She had a gorgeous pond with $1,000 show koi fish in it. Came in one morning to finish up the job, and a hawk had 3 of them out on the lawn eating em up! The lady was devastated and had me install a netting over her pond that same day 🤦🏽

I’m pretty sure the breeder picked that certain koi because of the large red spot on its back… it represents the Japan flag, if I’m not mistaken. 🇯🇵

Most of the time you're more expensive coils are already grown out but you can buy some younger koi that turn into the more expensive but there are koi that 😢go for even more than that there's a guy in California man that you should try to get some kio from he's very very inexpensive and he's always putting them up for sale and having a like biding type thing so you should look into that there's one breed of kio that makes 15 different types of koi I like the showwa koi

Fish's behavior is to "flash" as they exhibit shyness and it seems that some of the Koi are hiding under other Koi to escape the attention of the spectators...??? This behavior could be unique in Kois...
