I'd say the largest difference between the handheld version and something like a drone with dominator tech would be energy capacity. The handheld Dominator can only fire Destroy Decomposer, the most powerful mode, thrice. I'd imagine tanks and drones with their substantially larger size could house a higher capacity power source and use the Destroy Decomposer mode far more extensively and therefore be more destructive and powerful.
He did the full heroic death at least though. The entirety of Episode 16 is quite possibly one of the best singular episodes I've ever seen in any series at all.
It is the gun that chooses whether they can shoot, all they do is pull the trigger. People are scrutinized, sentenced on the spot, they are either neutralized and go to therapy in isolation or are put down right there and then. That is pretty quick law enforcement if you ask me.

Psycho-pass is not Shonen, i was on it's wiki page that it's manga was shonen. So maybe the manga had a different demographic and was written differently. But the show was absolutely not Shonen. It was psychological, dark, did not have fan service, had very very little comedy relief, violent, and the protagonist was a 19 year old who was out of college and highschool, and it was not at all about camaraderie . It felt way more seinen than Shonen as far as the series, i'm not much of a manga reader so i don't know how the manga compares. And also how the fuck is Trigun Shonen?
