A few weeks ago Father Kaz reminded us that where love is that’s where we find God. There was so much love and mercy in the Shrine this morning. Thank you so much Father Chris for the additional insight into the holy words of the Consecration. I enjoy every one of your homilies and this morning’s was extra wonderful. Watching the Mass this morning, brought everything full circle for me as a Marian helper. You, Father Jason, are the first man I have ever known to be ordained a priest. Pretty surprising, but true. I’ve read your book, I’ve heard you preach and I even had a brief conversation with you. May God bless you. I am thankful you said yes. If it is God‘s Will I hope to be around long enough to witness many more Marian ordinations, especially the soon to be novices I have met on visits to the shrine this past year. Sitting here alone, watching the live stream, I found myself sobbing joyful tears during the liturgy of the Eucharist, watching you elevate the host Father Jason and you Father Chris, mouthing “My Lord and my God.” I was transported to Calvary as you Fr Chris and Father Gabe have taught us. The happy tears continued when you elevated the chalice. Then, because Father Chris has taught us so well, the jubilation continued right through the Concluding Doxology. I repeat from yesterday: yet another beautiful day to celebrate our Catholic faith! My prayer for you Father Jason is that the peace, joy and love you know today are forever remembered and felt, especially since you now have that “target on your back” as Father Chris warned, and you go forward in your holy priesthood. 🙏🏻😇 I am also offering prayers for the entire Marian community of priests, brothers, seminarians, helpers, and the wonderful staff on Eden Hill.

I'm very surprised that your roof is still intact with all the joy exhibited. The Marions are truly a family of holy brothers who support us and one another with the example of respect and fidelity. A few weeks ago Father Kaz reminded us that where love is that’s where we find God. There was so much love and mercy in the Shrine this morning.
Thank you so much Father Chris for the additional insight into the holy words of the Consecration. I enjoy every one of your homilies and this morning’s was extra wonderful. Watching the Mass this morning, brought everything full circle for me as a Marian helper.
You, Father Jason, are the first man I have ever known to be ordained a priest. Pretty surprising, but true. I’ve read your book, I’ve heard you preach and I even had a brief conversation with you. May God bless you. I am thankful you said yes.
If it is God‘s Will I hope to be around long enough to witness many more Marian ordinations, especially the soon to be novices I have met on visits to the shrine this past year.
Sitting here alone, watching the live stream, I found myself sobbing joyful tears during the liturgy of the Eucharist, watching you elevate the host Father Jason and you Father Chris, mouthing “My Lord and my God.” I was transported to Calvary as you Fr Chris and Father Gabe have taught us. The happy tears continued when you elevated the chalice. Then, because Father Chris has taught us so well, the jubilation continued right through the Concluding Doxology. I repeat from yesterday: yet another beautiful day to celebrate our Catholic faith!
My prayer for you Father Jason is that the peace, joy and love you know today are forever remembered and felt, especially since you now have that “target on your back” as Father Chris warned, and you go forward in your holy priesthood. 🙏🏻😇 I am also offering prayers for the entire Marian community of priests, brothers, seminarians, helpers, and the wonderful staff on Eden Hill.

Oh, joining you in bursting with joy for this long awaited day. My eyes were also fixed on Father Chris, who is bursting with pride, good pride and love for his brother priest.
We just finished the section in CIY with Fr Mike on the Sacrament of Holy Orders….how BEAUTIFUL to see the JOY and LOVE in the priesthood as so expressed in Fr Jason’s Mass of Thanksgiving. Truly is a time to be thankful for ALL our priests throughout the whole world….especially men in discernment and for boys to be wholly spiritually formed. God bless you all.

O Jesus, our great High Priest, hear our humble prayers on behalf of your priest, Father Jason Lewis. Give him a deep faith, a bright and firm hope, and a burning love which will ever increase in the course of his priestly life.
In his loneliness, comfort him; in his sorrow, strengthen him; in his frustration, point out to him that it is through suffering that the soul is purified. Show him that he is needed by the Church, he is needed by souls, he is needed for the work of redemption.
O loving Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Priests, take to your heart your son who is close to you because of his priestly ordination, and because of the power which he has received to carry on the work of Christ in a world which needs him so much. Be his comfort, be his joy, be his strength, and especially help him to live and to defend the ideal of consecrated celibacy.

The Marions are truly a family of holy brothers who support us and one another with the example of respect and fidelity. All of the priests were so happy for Fr. Jason.
I must admit that I cried through a large part of the Mass with joyful tears of gratitude.
