The Yumthang Valley or Sikkim Valley of Flowers sanctuary, is a nature sanctuary with river, hot springs, yaks and grazing pasture on rolling meadows.Zero Point Sikkim (Yumesamdong) is situated at an elevation of 15,300 ft. in the Nothern District of Sikkim, India. This place is often called "Zero Point" because there is no motorable road after this place and the visitors are not permitted to go beyond this point due to its proximity to the Chinese border.

I was in Gangtok from 15 March 2022 to 18 March 2022. We travelled by road upto the hotel in Gangtok. While I was there the tour and travel agents, Hotel staffs and even Taxi drivers said that vehicles from other states are not permitted in North Sikkim.... Is this true...

Yes bro permit is required for North sikkim. You will get it from Mangan DC office or else you will get the Homestay owner mobile no in description. You may contact with him also for permit. I got my permit before My journey.
