I wish I saw your video before opening my flower shop. I recently hired an accountant and now I need to switch from sole to corporation.

You are definitely not the only one! But it's okay... because we know now that it's so important to charge the amount you deserve 🫣💗

Incredible! I see how it would help to have all of those elements in place. I am just wondering what those costs are! Sounds like a lot. 😅 need to generate high profits to pay all of those people. Web designer, accountant, employees, insurance, Pos systems, supplies, rent, taxes.. 😅😅😅😅. It’s good to be aware of what it takes. Thank you!

I think it's like any business really. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes to make a business 'run' and I feel like in our industry nobody talks about it - everyone just focuses on wholesale costs and seems to want to ignore the rest.

As a super general guide, I like to plan for 20% Operational Costs, 20% Taxes, 20% COGS, 20% Labour, and 20% Profit. Every business has its own nuances to sort through and definitely get the help of an accountant / financial advisor, but this framework is a great place to start.

@@LittleBirdBloom incredible. Thank you for the awareness. Even hiring a financial advisor, I think, oh more money to raise and spend. How am I going to afford that! But, I am working on changing my emotions to all of that. I grew up in scarcity! I am working on changing old programming that doesn’t serve my dreams. Thanks again for all you do. I LOVE your videos and content.
