Great breakdown of the Delta Platinum JP! More of a United guy at this point, but this is a strong card. I like that you can prepay different parts of a trip - hotel, rideshare, food.

I really dig this video. Your comparison between the JetBlue Plus and Delta Platinum cards was spot on. As for the rideshare credit, I’m not really a rideshare person myself. However, I do load those credits into my Lyft wallet, so they're ready whenever I need to get to JFK, LGA, or EWR airports. It definitely comes in handy.

I'm thinking of upgrading from Delta Business Gold. I've had all three versions now, and cancelled the Reserve because we're flying with Alaska now too, and it doesn't work if you're not using that companion pass every year. The Delta Platinum is a good happy medium.

Could I use the ride share credit buying Uber or Lyft gift cards? Would it work on Uber Eats? Thanks, great video as always. I might get the Gold first but I also see a lot of value in the Platinum and Reserve card but not sure if I can justify $1000/yr in AF. I easily get value from my Amex Platinum $695 AF with airline, streaming and Uber credits plus airline spending.
You can't use it for Uber Eats unfortunately. I am not sure about the gift cards, but I am assuming not given the "terms and conditions" language, but you can always try and find out haha. Yeah I would get the gold either way to test it out. You can either apply for the Plat outright after, or you can upgrade your gold in the second year and it automatically would get you the companion pass without having to pay the 350 for the first year. Hmm. I wouldn’t do the blue. I would do the gold tho because the annual fee is waived so you can test drive it and get the points. Hope that helps and thanks for watching fam 👌🏿
Really why is that? I feel like the reserve is nice if you can take advantage of the first class seats, but for me personally, not sure if the other values check out. Would love to hear your reasons. And thanks for tuning in fam 👌🏿

I know right. JetBlue and Barclays need to change that policy. Also, yeah, I’d mainly use it for airport or costco run.
