Another nice trick Pete! I am 175Lbs. 80 kilos and have a 5'11" or 152cm board. @99L as a starter board. I aquired a 10 ft SUP and can get up easy on that big rig. But on this squirly board I struggle. Your tips are helping. I do need smoother water... it's like a washing machine on the South San Diego bay. Thank you again Sir..
I’m 83K. Would you recommend buying a 115L or going for a 99L? I’m okay with a steeper learning curve but don’t want to buy a board I’ll outgrow in a few weeks.
@@CallSignMaverick11 the larger board will bring some extra comfort in light winds. If it's often sufficiently windy where you are and you have a good background in foil sports, you should do fine with the smaller option.
That's the one for me. Tomorow I'll try it. Thank you
Great video Mr. Jones.....those knees though!
There is an advantage to living in colder climates... lots of neoprene over your knees ;-)
@@PeteJonesF6 I meant your knees in your jogging pants ;-)

Aye flat water makes a big difference! Great to be able to deal with the choppy stuff though! I'm spoilt with flat water spots 😉👍
