- shielding transformers, clocks, the back of the touchscreen, raspberry pi still needs to be done and The corners still needs some soldering.
the clocks are secured with blu tack, which also works against vibrations and benefits the clocks.
I am going to treat copper with nickel, it comes close to MU metal.
I only found out later that Mu-metal would have been better.
I don't think it will help much, but every percent counts.
yeah this sounds good
Great Job , Something many have discovered you really don't need power supplies on the same case .
I feel it give a great opportunity to eliminate noise
Lovely. Can you share the schematic and components?
Have you seen the video off Gabster.

Hey Michel, I was inspiered to do the same project, but I cant get it running. I have a Raspi with a FifoPi Q7 from iancanada and I am using Volumio as Software. The PCM 1794 is used as the dac. I can get the board running - can you help me how i set the Software volumio that it works - I2S is connected: sck = bck - lr/D0 = lrck - SD/01 = data - Mclk = mclk - Ground = ground
I set in volumio the in the option resampling to 24bit/192khz (I tried every option)
Not a single tone :( do you have an Idea, what i did wrong?
I would be very happy about a bit help. Thank you...Greetings Roman
iil thinks its this.
Does one of the LEDs (FifoQ7) clocks light up as soon as you play something?
have you selected the audiophonics I-saber ES9038Q2M as the driver?
Note Ill have a FofoPiMa so its different.

or install FusioDSP plugin and set to "convolution filters" in the first settings and click safe/apply.
in the next tab/setting "click to disable effects"
scroll down and enable resampling and set it to 176400 or 192000 - ++
and turn off your Raspberry Pi (so do not reboot) and start it up again.
make sure resampling is turned off in the playback options.
This is how I did it with a friend of mine who also has a FifoPi Q7.

Or via Mail - r.m.mozilla with google - I tried to send the mail directly but It get cancelled…
How do you like that DAC board? Seems like it has a lot of opamps in it, are you able to swap them?
the board leans slightly towards the cool side. and yes the opamps are interchangeable.
