Saw your appearance on Clint’s Reptiles and had to drop in to say how much I love these cobweb castles! I immediately went to the Kickstarter to back your project bc I so want one of those!! I keep tarantulas and jumping spiders, mantids and any other similar critters I find out in the yard. I’ve always wanted to keep one of the funnel-type webbed spiders but didn’t have a proper enclosure. Also, the toothbrush is brilliant! Best of luck meeting your goal, really hoping to have a Cobweb castle of my own ❤️ love from North Carolina
I was watching Clint's reptiles and he was talking about the cobweb Castle. I think that's a really good idea . I have a spider in my garage which is a house spider I will stun a little moth or something similar and drop it into her web. I don't know why I get a kick out of this. I like the instant gratification I get when the she goes right for it. And I watch her closely. I definitely would enjoy her and watching her spider "ways" I know she had several spider egg sacs in her web. I'm in my 60s and a woman don't misunderstand me if I wake up at night and find a spider crawling on me I'm going to smash it. As long as the spider stays in its own little corner. The "Cobweb Castle" patent pending I think it's a great idea the cobweb Castle. Kids always used to have those ant farms years ago. I can't believe somebody didn't come up with this idea sooner. I'm surprised that a single teacher in this world came up with this idea sooner. A perfect learning experience for a child to have in a classroom. And to teach young children to have respect for all living creatures.
The Southern House Spider will drink, but it’s not going to leave its web to go look for water. I never give mine water and they are fine. If you crack open a cricket, it looks pretty watery. Thanks for watching!
I have been thinking of designing something for awhile to hold a spider. This is a perfect product. Im just trying to to think how to make it a more attractive design so Ladies won't mind it being in the Living room. BOHO SPIDER HOUSE or something.
I find majority of people just do not like spiders. Men dislike spiders as much as women dislike them. I've heard adult men screech at the sight of a tiny little spider
This product is available at www.cobwebcastle.com

I don't like spiders, but this is really cool. Your approach makes them friendly. Very informative as well.
Damn design looks great you can even see the behind of it

Pretty cool. I wonder what other types of spiders would do well in this habitat.
I have also tried black and brown widows. I am hoping to try the UK Tube Web Spider one day!
I feel like you should also capitalize on jumping spider trend. Lots of people want mini habitats
These are brilliant. You could paint or stain the outside of the habitat and hang them on a wall with hooks.
That was an earlier prototype idea.
Cobweb Castle is totally AWESOME!! im very interested! think i could use it for Tegenaria Domestica (Barn Funnel Weaver) ??
My initial concern is air flow
it is not air tight. You also don't add water.
@@CobwebCastle but it is known spiders need to drink water, ... ?!
