Would have loved to have seen the retrieval & loading onto your plane. Great hunt. To scrore a trophy like no-one else has - don't do what everyone else does. Well you sure did that! I'll just go where I've never taken any clients. Congrats from Australia.
WJP004 I will start filming loading meat into the plane along with strapping the antlers to the wing struts next fall so keep an eye out for that. Really glad you enjoyed the hunt. Happy hunting Troy
There was a hunting outfiter (in the area where we hunted moose) used to fly his clients around to find big bull moose; one season, my brother and I we trying to push / call 3 big bulls into an open area... I guess this outfitter caught wind...ha ha flying clients in / out and seen these big bull in this closed area. Then one day...we seen the chopper hovering ... a rifle shot...and then within a couple of hours, one of these big bulls being shopper lifted out of this closed area.... I understand the why people spot game through flying above... but I don't think than it is right to shoot from the chopper never mind in a closed area... GREAT JOB on getting the bull you seen. It is pretty tough also getting this animal out ... Lots of work...wow

I have eaten a 60 plus inch bull every year for over 30 years now.... AND I can say from experience a big bull carries another 200lbs more meat over those small moose. Bone appetite......
FANTASTIC!

It’s just antler hunting not moose hunting.
