    Thanks so much for this video. Just ordered one of these instead of the non waterproof one for my office as it was cheaper and bigger which I preferred. Btw just a suggestion for when you were screwing in, get yourself an electric screw driver. I bought Bosch one a few years ago for a large piece of furniture thinking I’d never use it again…I use it that much that I don’t put it in my shed with my other tools. Would have got them ceiling screws in within seconds!

      Ahhh awesome! I've got an electric screwdriver - I just don't really use it, I tend to like the 'feedback' through a 'manual' one :)

    Thanks for the video! May I ask what mm screws you used? I read that 6 and 8 mm fall through the holes. Thanks!

      Have updated the video description with the fixings and screws I used. The 3 x metals washers in with it stop it falling through.

    Hi there do you have an extractor fun - can you configure this to work with the hue

    • @kiphakes

      I’m working on a video for exactly this

    Would have been quicker to just use the wago connectors to connect the light to the line and neutral instead of bothering with the supplied screw in terminals

      youre saving like 3 minutes, for something you probably wont do again for 5+ years

    Cool. How do you set it up so the extractor fan comes on when needed?

    • @kiphakes
      @kiphakes  Год назад +2

      That has its own switch.. so we put it on when needed.. will be looking at a way of making that a bit smarter in future!

  • @ΑλέξανδροςΠαπαευαγγέλου

    Hello ,

    Thank you!!

    Stupid question probably but are these specifically designed for bathrooms for a reason? I mean, can they be installed in a bedroom and if no, which Philips Hue ceiling lights are ideal for bedrooms, the "Fair"?

    • @kiphakes
      @kiphakes  3 месяца назад

      These have a certain level of IP rating so are designed to be safe in bathrooms, however they can be used in any room really!
