Really enjoyed you and all your details. It’s a joy to see you put so much effort into your teachings so we don’t have to ask you questions, I feel I can do it just by your hands on method. Thank you so much this is so out of the box. Great video.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy the video! I love making them and helping others. Embroidering is so much fun and I love making unique items!
That is absolutely Amazing, I would never had thought of doing a ball of any kind. Thank you for sharing so much detailed information.
You are so welcome! They are fun to make!
While researching unique gifts for different occasions I actually found the embroidery file. Honey Bun I'm so glad you did this video, I take it as confirmation that I should purchase the file & let my creativity flow. As usual Jeanette you always come with the best tutorials. 🙌🙌
Hi Shamirra! Yes! Let the creativity SHINE! I can only image the many great designs you can do with this!!!
Thanks as always for sharing your knowledge. I discovered your Happy Hour several months ago and it has become must see/watch on Friday nights. I learn something new from you as well as from the other subscribers to the YT channel and FB channels.
Hi Leslie! So glad you are enjoying the channel and the Friday Happy Hours! Love teaching and sharing the knowledge!!!
I want to thank you for taking your time with this video 💕 I learned a lot
You are so welcome! I'm glad you enjoy it and found it helpful!
Thank you for showing us how to do this!
HI Robin! You are so welcome!
Can you please add a video how you do this on your SE1900? Thanks! I really enjoy your videos!
Hi Susan, Unfortunately you will need a hoop that is 6x10 to do this on a single needle machine. I just checked the file. The template for the panel won't fit in a 5x7 hoop.
Great video!! Thank you
Glad you liked it!
looks great thanks for the video!!
You are so welcome. Glad you like it!
I have several grandsons that I'd like to make those for. BTW, those T-pins should be good for holding the pieces together.
Hi MsMax. The T-Pins won't work for the ball. It's best to use the push pins. They give a strong hold.
Wow! I never would've dreamed of doing something like that! Have you just done them for gifts or have you sold them? That seems like a lot of work. It looks like a priceless souvenir.
Hi Michelle. I do both. Gifts and also sell. I love that you can embroidery anything on them. So if you know of someone that loves baseball, this makes a perfect gift for them.
Fantastic idea although the uk is not that into baseball , so not sure if I’d be able to get the balls. Would it be easier to stitch some of it back together, then put ball in as I’d say that is how they are originally made
These are very popular in the US especially during baseball season.
Great video, thanks
Hi LovingLife! Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it!
I love it! Great job! :)😍
Thank you! 😊
Makes me curious enough to want to try it.
I was scared to try it at first cause I thought it would be super hard. But it's not. Just go slow.
I love this and thought I bought the stuff to do it. But then I realized what I ordered was t balls. Are these the same kind of balls your doing?
No. I believe T Balls are different but if they have the lace you should be able to do it. You just have to make sure you get a template for that ball size.
Did you use a jeans needle in your machine when you embroidered?
No. I used a 75/11 Sharp needle.
Jeanette. I just watched embroidery on baseball. Thanks you did such a good job showing me. Did you use someone else’ design or did you design it. I love it. Thanks so much.
Hi Marian. I brought the template from an Etsy shop. Once you have the template you can customize the ball in way you like. Glad you liked the video!!!
Hi where do you buy the balls from cheap so i can try to embroidery on it thanks
I get them from Walmart.
QUESTION: Can you tell me if you can use the 12 x 5 hoop on the SE1900 using this 5 x 7 file? Do you change your hoop to 12 x 5 or leave it as 5 x 7 in embrilliance? Do i use the files that says 5 x 12 that was purchased? Sorry for so many questions. i am trying my first baseball and i have rewound this video 10+ times.
Hi Beverly. No. I don't recommend it. Use the 5x7 hoop to do one panel and then do the other one. Do them one at a time. If a panel doesn't fit in the 5x7 hoop ( I'm assuming it does) then use the 5x12 to do one panel at a time. I believe you should be able to fit it in. Not sure. I haven't done this on the SE1900.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts I appreciate your response. Could this be something you review in the future using the SE1900 and 5x7? I appreciate all you do. Thank you
Hi Jeanette. Have you tried adding dabs of leather glue to baste it in place?
Hi Marcella. I didn't try that. Great idea!
So, you just cut it at the end? No knots?
No knots.
I wonder if your seam ripper would work better to cut threads on the ball
It was more difficult with the seam ripper. I tried.
My seam ripper BROKE - tip snapped right off!
Just wondering if you've tried to fit this template into your 5x7 hoop for use on your SE1900? I can't get the template to fit in my 5x7 unless it's diagonal corner to corner (the default) because the template is too large. But it's OK to do two separate hoopings.
Hi Janice. Don't resize this!!! With the SE1900 you have to embroider one panel at a time. The panel is the actual size of the baseball panel. If you resize it, it won't come out right.
I would ever have considered that an option
Very curious how much people would pay. Great video on e again. What needle did u use?
Hi Debbie, Folks that sell these balls usually charge $30 a ball. I used a sharp needle.
Awesome video. What needle size did you use for the baseball? Yes it does look time consuming I wonder how much would you charge for that.
Hi Irvinoneil. I used Sharp needles for this project. The average price for these ball is $30.00
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts thank you very much. I will be trying this very soon
Great Job! What size balls?
HI Dara. I use the Recreational Baseballs which are size 8U.
OMG you always seem to amaze me. You push Embroidery to the next level. I enjoy all your videos since I subscribed. You are amazing Thank you for another informative video🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much!
Looks great Jeanette! No poked fingers when sewing up the baseball! 😉Awesome!
Thanks Barb! This is a lot of fun to make but they do take a lot of time.
AWESOME Jeanette ❤ what size needle you use for this project?
Hi Shuggarea. Use a 75/11Sharp needle.
Did you change any settings on your 10 needle ? Or a special needle ?
I slow down the machine and use 75/11 needle.
What do you charge for something like this?
These are listed on my Etsy shop.
Perfect template to embroider a maxi pad 😬
LOL!!!!! OMG! You are so right!!!! I knew that shape looked familiar!!!! LOL!!!
I love Baseballs
Me too! These make great gifts!
Goodness, that is a lot of work! 😳🤯
It sure is! But I enjoy the process. It's a great feeling when you are done!
This is an awesome (and labor-intensive project). Sadly, a lot of people don't value the hard work involved in handcrafted items. I can see someone trying to offer $20 to buy this. Ugh! As always, great tutorial.
Hi Chocolate Woman. Yes. It is a lot of work to do. I never entertain it when someone tries to downgrade my prices. I know the quality of the work. Some folks do HTV on the baseballs and sell them cheaper however the vinyl will peel off over time. Embroidery will last forever. That's why I tell folks stick with your prices. Glad you enjoyed the video!!!
Your scissors are pronounced Ging her not ginger Just saying. The tiny red handles scissors in another video are “Karen K Buckley” not Cathy ..
I always get it wrong!
OMG, I love how though your videos are !!! A huge thank you. Please continue, your are excellent.
Thanks Marina! I'm so glad you enjoy the videos! I will definitely keep them coming!
I just love your videos. I wonder if a seam ripper would help pull out cut stitches out?
Hi Lillian. I won’t recommend using a seamer ripper because the lace is thick. The scissors are much easier.
Jeanette, I don’t see where you purchased the thread to stitch the ball up. Or the acetone?
HI Allison. I just updated the video description to include the links. It's there now.
I wish you would do one with a single needle machine 🤔
Michele, the steps are the same. The template fits in a 5x7 hoop. I'll do a video for folks to see. I don't want folks to think this is not doable on a single needle.
Hi Jeanette, The baseball came out amazing. TFS
Thanks so much 😊 Everyone loves these! They make great gifts!
Wondering if you mentioned where you got the baseball template. I see one on Etsy, but didn't know if you had a link. Thanks so much!
I got it off Etsy!
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts I found it.
Thank you. The impossible is possible.
Hi Marian! Yes. You just have to believe and keep trying!!!!
You're amazing! Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Great video/tutorial…!! I wonder if using an exacto knife with careful pressure would work or a seam ripper… as watching the putting back together the “t” pins might work separately or with the push pins also… ❤️🙏🏽
HI Bernadette, You can accidentally cut the leather by using an exacto knife. You can try I'm afraid of cutting myself. I think the scissors are safer and will give you a more exact cut.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts it was just a thought I’d have to pray the whole time if I were to try using an exacto knife…
I broke my seam ripper using it so only use strong scissors. I'm with Jeanette regarding using an exacto knife.
You are awesome and so is your work
Thank you so much 😀
This is great, Jeanette! I just bought the template and supplies. My grandson will be surprised and thrilled. He's a huge baseball player (age 10).
He is going to love it. Don't be surprised if folks will ask you for one after they see it!
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts I do have a question. I bought the template from A Creative Medley and opening it up it only fits diagonally across my 5x7 hoop once. I printed it out and my ball flap fits inside perfectly. In order to fit 2 like you do I'd have to resize it which would then mess up the ball. The template won't fit inside my 5x7 hoop lengthwise. How did you get yours to fit two inside the 5x7 hoop side by side because mine won't? I chose the "baseball-full-5x7-withmargin-ACM." Thanks!
I just figured it out - this is a bigger hoop you're using for your multi-needle machine! Got it. For a 5x7 hoop using the SE1900 it'll be two separate hoopings. Not a problem.
That is so kool... thanks for sharing 💜
Hi Wanda! Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video!
Love this!! A lot of work , but would love to make one. 😍
Hi Evemar. Yes. The stitching is alot of work. I think I would only be able to do maybe one ball a day. Your hands get tired.
Nice work!
Thank you! Cheers!
Jeanette, you are amazing!
Thanks! So are you! I love the things you make!!!! They are awesome! I wish I had your sewing skills!!!!
Thanks so much for this informative video. I would never have thought of this on my own . Can't wait to give it a try. Love all your videos.
Hi Anita! They are fun to make!!! Glad you like the video!
