I have been working on saxophone 🎷 since 2015 and I'm now learning the traditional way to practice instead of playing by ear scales and long tones are my foundation and a strong foundation is everything

Everything you say in this clip is so true. It seems like a lot of sax players have decided to learn about the business and very little about the artistry of playing the horn. So many guys are out there playing without having a strong foundation of the fundamentals.

Thank you so much for this information. I really enjoy hearing these sorts of things because it provides direction for my own learning.

His sound-voice commands attention from the first note. It's personable , if I may, and individualised.
Yet another musical son of John Coltrane is alive and 'smoking'.
