In that Kreanga v. Schlager point, when the backhand down the line caught Schlager by surprise, the reaction and editing afterwards had me laughing so hard. :)
please keep making pingpong videos, they are amazing. there arent many content creators like you left that make videos like this. All the people that made pingpong videos stopped years ago.
Kara has the most 'organic' backhand ever. I mean how can you train to get that kind of shots? Any coach seeing a young player do those kind of shot selections will probably stop him or her and advice to play the 'correct' technique. His father was a pro player and his first coach, maybe thats the reason his natural talented backhand survived early years of training.
i agree most coaches would say to have a smaller action on the backhand. my backhand is big like kreanga. just have to be quick to return to neutral position. but most coaches would not like it
Kreanga just smashes the shit out of every backhand, like there's no tommorrow Kara on the other hand plays an equally strong backhand like a lazy person would - which he is, I guess :D
Kreanga technique is very big with less time for recovery but other guys is compact with same power. Kreanga is my hero but leaning towards the other guys purely based on efficiency
European players have unique styles, Chinese players , although really good, are conditioned to 1-2 play style due to their training. I see more creativity in European play ( Waldner, Gatien, Samsonov, Boll, Saive) and more consistency in Chinese play ( Wang Liqin, Wang Hao, Ma Lin, Ma Long, Zhang Jike)
Karakasevic can only execute backhand close to the table. Kreanga can counter attack with backhands away from the table. Karakasevic's backhand is more like a little push, Kreanga's backhand is a real hit.
I had lucky to watch few times training matches of Karakasevic. When you look that bh shots, no mether, with or without spin, chop or drive you just stay without coment. That i catch the golden fish i would ask for Karas bh😎
Min Sin I think Allan has a good backhand but there is not comparison with the kreanga's or Karakasevic backhand but maybe Allan's backhand on the table is the best.
different styles....Kreanga's backhand is more powerful, devastating and with a lot of variations. Kreanga can demolish an opponent even with his backhand alone. he can sustain his backhand attacks with confidence. Karakesevic's on the other hand is more conservative, relax and uses more on ball placements. Kreanga wins points by power, Karakasevic by ball placement. I haven't seen these two matched up together, but my money's on Kreanga.
Kreanga by far has the better backhand. They both have equal placement but Kreanga has more power and is able to maintain that power under nearly all circumstances. Karakasevic has great power too but he often seems to use more control in many situations before killing a ball when he's absolutely sure. While Kreanga might do that sometimes too, more often than not he seems to be able to use unrelenting power on his backhand more than anyone in the history of the sport.
He would angle the ball further and further out to the forehand side (nowadays, most players focus primarily against the backhand), and then hit hard to the backhand. There was no viable strategy against it. They knew it would happen, they just didn't know when. Later (more in my era) we had a penholder here with the same strategy, only forehands. slow hook-loops to the forehand, then a flat hit to the backhand. He was clobbering a top French chopper, until the guy got fed up (and a bit annoyed) and played a 3rd ball strategy instead.
@@-danR Barna didn't even play with sponge rubber so forehand didn't even have that much of an advantage,on the contrary his close stance backhand had mechanical advantage over the fh technique of the time.Kreanga along with Schlager could beat choppers with their BH.Waldner said Kreanga had the best BH rally and he has played against pretty much everyone from Surbek to Ovtcharov.
That's because it plays wide to a right-hander's fh which is very difficult to defend against.I could even make a clip of Gatien hitting crackers on the bh side. The best lefty bh ever was probably Wang Tao's simply because he could block anything to wide angles.
it is simple , Kara has such a good backhand it ruined his forehand, krea on the other hand has a good one but not to the point that the forehand is ruined. So in terms of backhand only it is Kara but in terms of which backhand made the player stronger ? Krea take this one
kreanga of course!!! but, have one player must be better then them, your name is Hugo Calderano. Your backhand has power , much energy and the Ball Win rotacion .
I'll take FZDs backhand over either of them in their prime every day of the week. Just as powerful or more. Quicker & can routinely do it over the table. FZD has taken that crown long held by Kreanga as the best BH of all time.
Kreanga has more power. Karakasevic knows what makes opponent uncomfortable.
It is to absolutely two different styles of backhand. I just can't chose the best of them)
Backhands aside, Karakasevic had/has the best drop-shot of the modern era. Hands-down the best. Better even than Waldner, better than anyone's.
100% Agreed. I don't know how these hq drop-shots are even f**** possible.
Just was going to write the same. The drop-shot is a very rare play nowadays. Karakasevic is really the master dropper.
True
Karakasevic is the legend of backhand.Good work tubeist-dan.
bravo tata

Nice work Top 8 TT. I love your videos. We don't want just recording of matches. Keep it up man. Subscribed.
Karakasevic's got absolutely unique timing and angles
Kreanga has the power away from the table, but Karakasevic has a more beautiful backhand, and game.
I love Kreanga's backhand...He plays it with lots of power. But Karakasevic does spectacular things with his BH.
I think the artist is Karakasevic
Thanks
Kreanga has more power, he just smash blinded but Karakasevic knows where he wants to put the ball and use more spin.

kreanga has much power in his amazing backhand, but karakasevic is "the man with the golden touch" that means he`s the winner of this question.
The Super Power Backhand Nuclear, Kreanga.
Karakasevic of course!
Kreanga gives the largest swing of the arm a Human can😃😃
i honestly cant pick who is better. initially i thought kreanga had much more power but as the video went on the power and speed looks very similar.
beautiful.
Kreanga for me.
Kreanga all day long
3:30 soo good ☺️
Kreanga!!
what about kenta matsudairas amazing backhand serves n blocks?he deserves a place..although i am a kreanga fan

Karakasevic 100% intelligence
yes!!!!!!!!!!
kreanga
Awesome !!!!!!!!
Hard to tell, but both players have strong backhand. Was hoping for a match between Kreanga and Karakasevic.
I had lucky to watch few times training matches of Karakasevic. When you look that bh shots, no mether, with or without spin, chop or drive you just stay without coment. That i catch the golden fish i would ask for Karas bh😎
*What about Allan Bentsen's backhand? :)*

Its so sad, that in their prime was no HD-Recording.
Okay that's it, I gotta get me a backhand!
Karakasevic
im purely a kreanga fan but i cant pick a better backhand out of this two fellas
po menin je karakasevic daleko bolji, spoj tehnike preciznosti i brzine naspram snage ne moze da se poredi
Both have unique backhands! Karakasevic has better forehand though..
both are very good but karakasevich see body language and use it much smarter playr! !
Kreanga has more power and spin, while Karakasevic is smarter
somewhat different stroke mechanics but both are excellent.
Kreanga. The best backend in the world by four
kreanga aaaaa

Not in history. That would be Barna. Kreanga needs (and _has_ ) a very good forehand. Barna could mop the floor with choppers just using the backhand.
tubeist- dan Ok grandpa. Thanks for the info

GeneralSpecific3 no, his style is different.kara is more elegant, smart. kre is agressive. that is all.

Karakacevic body posture and movements are similar to He Zhiwen
Karakasevic from the clips looks like he uses one thing effectively. The backhand crosscourt to the far side. Kreanga has more variation.
That's because it plays wide to a right-hander's fh which is very difficult to defend against.I could even make a clip of Gatien hitting crackers on the bh side.
The best lefty bh ever was probably Wang Tao's simply because he could block anything to wide angles.
Krenga win
Love Kreanga!

Karakasevic seems to hit more inside out backhands

legacy of discord ad: level 0 outfit is the best ;)
actually wang hao has the best backhand...also great backhand players are oh sang eun and mattenet
Tata Tatata - I do agreed with your comment, you know of what you are talking about 👍
反手之王,爆發力強
この二人に孔令輝とサムソノフと張継科とロスコフとグルッパのバックハンドを研究したら世界一のバックハンド使いになるかもね
