Rick’s police training definitely showed here He recognized very quickly that Tony was looking to Dave for signals on what to do indicating that they have a system in place and have done this little game before When Tony walks over to take a piss That was clearly getting himself into a strategical position Then Dave also got up and positioned himself directly on the other side of Rick putting him directly between the 2 At that moment Rick went into prepared mode and was ready to draw at a split seconds notice Tony and Dave had sized up the 3 of them and assessed Rick as the only real threat they knew if they took him out the other 2 would not put up a fight But again Rick saw that and stayed ready even after Dave tried to lure him into a false sense of security by putting his gun on the bar When he lunged for it Rick fired a shot before Dave was even able to raise the gun Then just as impressively was able to be calm and cool enough to keep in the back of his head exactly where the other guy Tony was to turn completely around and shoot him multiple times before he could even react to his Friend being taken out. Absolute moment of badassery from Rick Now Hershel has a reason to let Rick stay He made it clear that he can read people and situations with deadly accuracy and that he will help keep Hershel’s family safe from the threat that is just as dangerous if not more so than Walkers.
Ouch with the shift work, I know the grind. You need your sleep! Sleep and hydration, put you first and we’ll be here to support you and watch along with you when you’re feeling well. Don’t burn out just for us. ❤
Lori is frustrating because she’s not wrong but I think she’s really focused on her and Carl’s survival. Whereas Rick is focused on the group’s survival. I do think she is wrong for jumping in the car and driving off. That wasn’t the smartest move.
This is a defining moment for Rick Before that he said we don’t kill the living Now from that moment he knows he must do it to protect his people And that music at the end is like showing what Rick is capable of and that he is a fighter One of the many best scenes in this show.
This was such a turning point in Hershel and Rick’s relationship. Love this episode. Thank you once again for an amazing response to this episode. Amazing. And curse away my friend lol. Who gives a shit lol mucho love ❤️
I really enjoy hearing your take on the show and the characters. I get to see them from a different perspective, which is very interesting. My family are rewatching this show at this time. We are a few seasons ahead. I'm enjoying watching with you. Please get some rest and take care of yourself.
Fun Fact the home used for filming the show in this Season is from a very religious older couple that was very apprehensive about letting AMC film here They ultimately allowed it and they established two major rules No walkers on the property and no cussing inside the house This is why you see so few walkers on the actual farm in the season And the owners also refused to allow the home to be used in any fan tours I believe they sold it later on.
Awesome moment for Rick one of my favourites The first time he murdered anyone but he had to do it to protect the farm and his family Plus if you go back and rewatch that scene you can see Dave (the guy at the bar) right after he says This guy looks down at his gun laying on the bar like he was going to reach for it Sheriff Rick read that glance perfectly😁
Best advice for spinoff shows is to wait. Some contain spoilers and some are occurring simultaneously with the show so that can be more confusing to watch without the whole main shows story line played out for context. Personally, I would suggest finishing TWD and then adventuring into spinoff shows after if that is something that interests you when the time comes. Not only do you have a lot on your plate with the amount of shows you do but you do not want to oversaturate your audience with one type of content...also there's mix signals for some of the spinoffs so I think it would be more profitable to finish TWD content and then keep the TWD audience content with more TWD universe content after if that's what you and the audience find fit. Keep up the great reaction!!!
"Typing ferociously" will be funny until the end of time. What I appreciate most about your Walking Dead reactions is that you refuse to make excuses for the bad behavior of characters cast as heroes. If someone does something stupid or acts like an asshole, you call it out, but you also give them their flowers when they do something right or kind.
Thank you for still getting videos out to us. I laugh so hard when you get into the scene arguing with the cast. And then dance to whatever random music is playing. Your hate for Andrea is shared over here.
I appreciate you and all of your hard work for our entertainment. I work 3 jobs and one of them is a graveyard shift so I know how you feel. Just know you are appreciated ❤
I like that you're so real about your reactions and what you think about the characters you like the ones you like and the ones don't you don't great reaction you are very funny 😅
Fear The Walking Dead starts 5 years after TWD in 2015 and is based in CA at the start of the apocalypse. The spin-off The World Beyond starts 10 years after TWD in 2020, and the other 2 don't begin until after TWD season 11 finale. They also have some short web episodes that have a few connecting stories to TWD. Like the first walker, Rick kills the lady with the half body dragging the web episode shows who she was and how she ended up there.
Totally with you for Supernatural. I recently realized I'd stopped at season 6 years ago, so I started over. Also Buffy. I adore Buffy. Also, wildflowers are still flowers. And some weeds are useful. No hating on the volunteers.
You're doing a lot. Especially while doing a graveyard shift. Please get some sleep love. We will still be here when you wake up. I agree with you about Dale (Jurassic Park.) He should've told the entire truth about Shane. The story of the flowers (or weeds as you put it 😂😂😂) the Cherokee tribe was forced to leave their homes by the European settlers. During the Cherokee migration, the children were dying from sickness and famine. The Cherokee mothers cried for the loss of their children and as a result, the Cherokee rose bloomed where the mothers' tears fell. That's why the Cherokee rose is significant in Carol and Sophia's storyline.
Loving your reactions! Youre hilarious! Lori pissed me off, Rick and Glen just literally left to get Hershel so wtf do u need to go!? She just got done telling Rick he shouldnt be running off all the time! Rick was a badass this episode and i love him, fav character hands down. You will get there i promise! Agree about Dale telling Lori about shane aiming his gun at Rick, that would be important info to know, esp after trying to convince her shane is dangerous! ❤🧟♀️
I feel for Dale, keeping all of this stuff hidden about Shane. He probably didn’t want to tell others about Shane pointing the gun at Rick in case someone rats him out
I (personally) do not recommend watching spinoffs until after, unless you're planning on watching the main series and the appropriate spinoffs at the same time. Not everyone is into the spinoffs, so I think you'd end up losing a portion of your audience.
Information and Answers: Rosa laevigata, the Cherokee rose, is a white, fragrant rose native to southern China and Taiwan south to Laos and Vietnam, and invasive in the United States. It is an evergreen climbing shrub, scrambling over other shrubs and small trees to heights of up to 5-10 meters (16-33 ft). The flower has no association with Cherokee culture. It is a non-indigenous invasive species that climbs over and smothers existing vegetation. Though it has no connection to the Cherokee Nation, it is occasionally used as a symbol of Cherokee resistance following their eviction from the southern United States via the Trail of Tears. Rick became the leader at the camp in Atlanta. It was an unspoken agreement between the group that choosing Rick's plan was locking him in as leader of the group from that point forward. If you look back at the episodes Shane was working as the leader of the group until the morning after camp was overrun, and he became Rick's right-hand man instead. They touch more on their choice-making system later. SPIN-OFF INFORMATION: idk much about the spinoffs, but I DO know that some characters that show up in the first few seasons of the spin-offs show up in the last 2 seasons of the main show. All of that to say I will investigate the spoilers and “best order to watch TWD” Reddit posts to get you the order with the least number of spoilers. I believe there are 2 spinoffs that take place during the show, and 2 spinoffs that take place after the show. Plus the webisodes and deleted scenes that go in depth with certain details. Jeez you got me and son my laughing, "Oh hi Rick"....."Oh you killed Sophia...." Quality ! I hope you felt better after falling asleep, man you're working yourself hard, take care I'd hate to see you burn yourself out. T-Dog got a script this time 🤣. Lori annoyed me here, going up to Daryl and pretty much demanding he goes and fetches Rick and Herschel back. No appreciation of what Daryl had been doing and been through. "Olive Oyl" was perfect for her. You did miss one, Beth the woman who collapsed but don't worry too much though, she isn't a main character but I do like her. Because he wasn't studying each individual walker, lol. He just saw a big group of them and quickly turned to leave.
