Hi Khan.. I have uploaded many videos on my channel. Please watch those videos you will get a very good knowledge on BMS. Also, subscribe and share with the friends.
Nice Video, Everyone can easily understand the the concept and sequence after watching this video. But your audio i very low. Please increase the audio in upcoming vedios. Thanks.
Nice video sir , excellent job you have done , thank you. But if you can make labels on your lecture in sequence such as Lect-1 Lect-2 Lect-3 It will be easy for us to follow up
Thank you and like for the video! Please explain, why humidity level increases after cooling coil? Shall not it reduced due to condensating on surface of the coil?
Hi John.. thanks for your feedback. The relative humidity level after the cooling coil will be close to 100% as the hot air absorbs moisture from the cooling coil. Condensation happens due to the hot air becomes vapour when comes in contact with the cooling coil. Hope this is clear
@@engineeringautomation i think more water is removed (you need to achieve 100% humidity to remove water from air) as the valve modulates to open. thus humidity will decrease temperature may be too cold, thus need reheating.
Hi yokelee.. yes.. to maintain humidity you need to cool the air more by opening the CHW valve and to maintain the temperature you will open the heater to maintain temperature thus by maintaining both.. hope this helps
@@engineeringautomation You need humidifier to maintain humidity setpoint specially if you are in a very dry and hot weather during summer like here in Saudi Arabia and other ME contries.
Seems like it'd be a good instructional video but I cannot understand 90% of what he is saying and the CC doesn't support this video, likely because it can't interpret his accent either...very frustrating as I'm trying to learn as I prepare to challenge the 5th Class Power Eng exam...I will subscribe to this channel in hopes that another person will narrate future videos.
Hi Pravin, in case of fire, the fire alarm system shall directly shutdown the equipment to prevent fire build up. If shutdown is achieved through BMS, once fire signal is received from fire alarm, BMS will switch off the supply fan, followed by closing of control valve and the associated dampers. Hope this helps. Thank u
@@engineeringautomation Does the exhaust Fan requires to be running (may be for short duration) during Fire scenario ? Or is it the case that all Fans need to be shut down during fire ?
If the fan is designed for smoke extract then the extract fan should work during fire to extract smoke out. Otherwise all the fans needs to be shutdown. Toilet and kitchen fans are not required to be shutdown. Fans which should run during fire for smoke extract must be fire rated with fire rated duct work
Professor, can you send a link to a simulation program for cooling and heating systems for mechanical and electrical parts and control circuits? Thank you.
Hi Ahmad… thanks a lot for tour feedback.. i have used HTML, CSS and JS for programming, styling and scripting. Then i used keynote to prepare the presentation
not necessary. it depends on the application of use. if there multiple AHU's working in Duty/Standby operation then supply and return dampers will be required to isolate the standby AHU...
Hi Avinash.. i believe you are asking about the DPS for fan run status monitoring. Also i believe only 1 fan will be in operational. In that case, negative probe should go before both the fans and positive probe should go after the 2 fans. Either of the fans running, you can get the status. If the fans are in parallel you need to provide separate DPS for each fan. Hope this helps
Hi Sachin, FAHU sequence is different. HRW will work all the time when the AHU starts. The chilled water valve will be controlled based on the supply temperature rather than the return temperature in the FAHU. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the video, I like it and I have subscribed. However, your voice and accent makes it very difficult for one to understand what you were saying. I had to use a volume booster to be able to hear you, but the CC is showing Hindi instead of English. Please fix this in your next videos. Thanks.
without the sensors in the supply duct you will not know if the cooling coil is performing. it helps in measuring the performance for energy saving and better control
Hi.. these logics are written in the programming software using ladder logic, functional block diagram, functional chart etc., based on the different manufacturers of the product
Hi siva.. if the power supply is off for the AHU then temperature can not be maintained… we need power to run the AHU. If u refer when DDC is switched off? In that case DDC will be fed by UPS to avoid power interruption
Hi Tousif.. the software is depends on which manufacturer is supplying the BMS system. Siemens uses Desigo, Honeywell uses EBI, Schneider uses EcoStructure etc..
the temperature and humidity are controlled as individual variables... I don't think it will be work well. The right control is controlling Temp and Humidity as a integrated parameters
Hi Christo.. Thanks for your feedback. Yes Temp & humidity are integrated parameters. However, temperature control is more important and humidity is secondary control. Always its priority to have the temperature controlled then humidity. But this depends on application.
Sir your communication is very well to understand concept easily. Presentation is excellent. Thank you
