I want to love this game so bad, that's why I want people talking about its issues so that they can be acknowledged by the devs.
I believe barbie has always wanted Royale High to be a roleplay game so I don't take issue with lack of new gameplay, but the move away from using the "boy" body morph crosses the line for me, and I hope more ppl voice their opinions so the devs can see the opinions of the community they created.

Thank you SO much for talking about how a pretty map isn’t new content. I agree, there isn’t much to do in the new update. Very very disappointing. I’m also very upset about the masculine toggle thing. I am female but I really enjoy making outfits with the masculine toggles and I feel really bad for all the masculine people who can no longer express themselves. They devs need to wake up.

I’m so sick and tired of the Royale High team disappointing, disrespecting, and disregarding us. This is outrageous. I miss the days when I could play royale high for HOURS without getting bored and make so many friends and do it all again the next day.
Duhh it’s cuz u kept playing it over and over again obviously u got bored. Why don’t you take a break and find something else to play.

I feel like this is also because of the players. They all grew up and nowadays some of them find things such as roleplaying boring or lame. It's been a long time since i saw the chats in the servers actually happening, nowadays people only think about farming
But it would not be like that if the devs did not overprice everything so much, and if they actually added gameplay and content to the game
@@coloursiliek7410 Or it's because of all the changes. I took almost a one year break from rh, so much shit has changed. It's pretty, but I find alot of the stuff boring. And the quests, I have to skip so many because you need to spend diamonds, (ex: hair tangles quest) when I'm trying to save up diamonds. You even need to spend 100 diamonds for the hunger bar.
I may be a girl, but this is unfair for the masculine players. Theyre making the body more like an hourglass. The old one is way better. Just because the game has more girl players,doesnt mean they should have made that change. The game is slowly losing masculinity. Dress up games are for everyone, trans women, trans men, biological men, biological women everyone! Barbie really needs to do something about this! It is really unfair! As i said, i may be a girl, but this is really sad. If i ever decide to be trans, id really be sad.

They’ve also removed the locker courtyard now like it was so pretty and the quests you could do there are now gone same with the bathrooms and the chests! Same with the new dorms.. now it’s just downgraded. It’s no longer pretty and actually something to explore.

Fr the locker courtyard is now officially gone and in my opinion it was so pretty and my favorite part of the school to go to. The lockers looked better and there was more to do. (Also I feel like there’s too much stuff in the castles heart it seems cluttered and doesn’t really look like a school to me) and the new dorms are so boring without the pool

Like whyyy it was so pretty.. and now there’s barley any lockers and everything in the castles heart and it’s just not as pretty.. I get that the devs want it to be less laggy and everything but the locker courtyard and the (old) dorms are ( was ) some people’s fav realms! It’s really disappointing.. enchantix used to be my fav realm before it got removed.. i understood enchantix because of copyright issues but it took me a while to recover from that! Then they remove the pretty realms that people actually like in the NEW SCHOOL!!

I’m a trans guy, literally love royale high and have been playing for awhile now but I’m honestly just really upset about this.
I tend to usually go with female avatars because of how much more easier it is to make an outfit than it is with male because of the lack of content us masculine players have.
I understand that RH is a predominantly fem game but seriously Barbie? I’m really hoping they can look at what the community is saying and change their decision because this is honestly just really fucking sad and angering.
Just adding onto this, as someone whose made very very small and mediocre games, it is very difficult to make models, working npcs, scripting, ect.
Ofc I’m not trying to back up the fact that they are objectively doing something that is causing harm to their community but I think calling the first half of the update lousy and really bad is a bit overkill. As it was stated, this is a big update so it’s gonna take a little bit to get fully out, as of now I’m just holding hope and waiting.
i agree with everything you've said but the thing is, royale high shouldn't be a predominantly feminine game. masculine people/men can like princess things, so i don't know why barbie acts like the main playerbase is girls/feminine people.

And can we talk about the pants-shorts?? The only way the I can make the new masc torso is wearing the girl body which implies that the previous shoes-heels will have the round hips...(this type of hip is not bad at all, just it looks feminine when you're not looking for that) And I want to know who actually had an issue with changing bodies like???? who? Did they solved a problem nobody had???
The new masc torso is ok ig, but not everyone will have those mini proportions, if they wanted to add them, it was perfectly fine, but they didn't have to quit making for the other type body(the og boy body). I'm really sorry for the players that just have a masculine preference, I hope the devs could see that we are not okay with this, and if someone was lazy enough to change bodies to have the masc proportions then idk what are they doing playing Royale high.
i was (and still kind of am) upset that Royale High was moving away from the regular Roblox avatars (ex. the bat-mo rework, love it tho) but at the same time it was understandable, but now they're trying to move away from masc avatars and honestly this is just outrageous ngl
I agree! But I also have some good news on this - as mentioned in my previous video, the new items which, altho are more realistic, use the textures made by roblox clothing designers (the 2d ones? idk how to call it)

I'm transmasc and this shit hurts, i thought Royale high was all about inclusivity yet here we are. I'm already being forced to dress feminine irl, royale high helped me feel at least a little better up until now. Literally ruined this entire update for me 😭
Man I'm so sorry, I'd be fucking pissed too. The way they're shifting away from masc inclusivity is so unfair to you guys especially, who use it as an outlet for expression. You don't deserve this.
So glad their are people in the community who aren't afraid to critique and show their concerns about RH.
This year's update isn't massive, yes it looks great, the developers worked hard, but they need to do a better with communication, as in what the community is actually upset about, like stated in the video the masc toggles problem. The map is just a phase, but decorated to fit the Christmas update, so I'll xount that out, about this update it's just another same patterned update we get each seasonal update for this game. I do wish their was more love towards trans men and biological men in Royale High, because I have a trans male friend and a biological male friend in game, and one wears just their avatar and one unfortunately is having a hard time making masc outfits. So it'd be great for the developers to at least cater to the trans men and biological men for a change, it's always feminine, feminine treatment, like Inget they woek hard,their humans, it's their job, I know but id I were in their place I wouldn't gather and watch videos like these about what problems the community has and I can address them to my coworkers. It shouldn't take minors to address or bring up problems about a game, thank you for speaking up.

For me the new update its pretty good, but as a masc player im REALLY disappointed at the fact that none of the new items fit masculine frames (the masc toggle of the body is too slim and small and the arms don't even have a masc version), the new corset it's so beautiful but how come it doesn't have a proper male version? It kinda does but it doesn't look right, it's more twink like and definitely going more for the feminine frame, which i hate, the sleeves don't even have a masc version ans I'm just disappointed because we didn't even get a single new hair.. i get everything takes lots of times and they're remaking the school, but that doesn't excuse the fact that they're just neglecting the male players and leaving us behind

SPEAK UP!! Literally this update was one of the worst... Something else I'd like to add is the reconstruction of the school map, which I HATE! No one asked for the locker courtyard to become the heart of the school, like, it was already a very beautifull map and also they got rid of the powder rooms! The front office should be the first thing you see while entering the school, BECAUSE IT JUST MAKES SENSE, IT IS THE FRONT OFFICE! But the thing that irritated me the most is the glow- down of the dorminatories. Lets be real, none likes the new dorms, the seem very bland and boring, AND WHY ON EARTH THEY REMOVED THE POOL?? I wish we had more updates like summer 2021, except from the pretty map we had so much content and lore!
1. The Front Office has been Changed to the "school office"
2. The locker courtyard is still available at this time from The Rainy day classroom
3. yes the dorms changed, but I am pretty sure The Quests "Hot Tub Time " and "Relaxing by the pool" have been temporarily removed.
@@JJ-jm2ls I know that the front office got renamed but i preferd it as it was. And i didnt knew that the courtyard is still available, I assumed it got completely removed! Lastly, i really liked the old dorms, they seemed much more lively and pretty.

Locker courtyard is now gone for real and it was the prettiest and favorite part of the new school (in my opinion) the castles heart is pretty but there’s too much stuff there and I feel like it doesn’t look like a school. the new dorms are super boring without the pool and the long hallway is so ugly. this update is very disappointing. Let’s just hope they actually listen to the feedback and change it to how it used to be because literally nobody wanted this update

I don't get why RH doesn't put more effort in male players. Like the community isn't asking for the devs to make a whole new set, they are just asking for the shirt to have a decent masculine option. RH has got to start appealing to a wider range of fanbases because (I'm female so I probs don't know everything about this situation) from what I have seen there is few male options for people and that is just unfair.
Also the contwnt for Glitrerfrost is minimal. Yes I appreciate the new lobby but that isn't really glitterfrost. The only glitterfrost thing is the tree and the 2 badges you can get. There is hardly any other gameplay, the only thing we have to do for Glitterfrost is guve gifts and just stare at the Christmas tree.
I also don't know how Calin thinks he has the right to say that. The reason he actually has an income and a job is because of the fandom so why would he just be so judgemental of normal behaviour. Being excited for an update and predicting what will happen in it is perfectly normal.
However, my criticism is constructive so I will go on about the good stuff in the update.
I do really like the fact thay there is a new advent. It actually gives people something to be excited for.
I also do love the remake of the dorms. It is so much more convenient for players and makes the dorms look more put together in my opinion.
Also, I do love the badges you can get. I love how they involve teamwork and the chimney surfer badge brings back 2018 memories for older players.
Also I have gotta say the new lobby is gorgeous to!
Anyway this is all my opinion so please don't hate me for it if you disagree. But feel free to tell me your opinion in the replies. ❤️

I agree with the map thing! Although I really miss the locker courtyard, the castle’s heart is so beautiful. However, they’re just trying to hide the fact that we still don’t have the west campus, the throne room, the gymnasium, the cafeteria, etc. Gladly the quests keep me busy, but the meaning “coming soon” sadly has no meaning to the devs.

EXACTLY, they want respect, but respect is earned, not demanded. It's weird how Calin acts like that or from what I know from RUclips the devs can be problematic and most of the time they only call out the players instead of what they did first if that makes sense.

im gonna start this off by saying im a chubby transmasc person, and this is my POV as someone who is one.
i see so many people talking about how upset they are about how they are frustrated with how barbie is slimming down and "feminizing" the masc body type, and believe me i am mad too, but this issue is directly linked with the game's issue with not having plus sized bodies, yet we dont get any justice, and even though our issues are currently linked, we are still left in the dust by the community AGAIN.
the reason they are "feminizing" the male body types is so they wont have to keep resizing items. plain and simple. and thats the same reason we havnt gotten anything for us bigger players; its because the team doesnt want to resize items. that is how these two issues are directly linked.
yet we are still forgotten about. we've been trying to have a voice for so long yet we've been shut down so many times not just by the dev team but our own community.
and no, it would not be that hard for the dev team to implement plus sized items. they are not only reworking all sleeves to go on TOP of the human arms set, showing they are able to drastically rework items (as this update would mean hollowing them out to some extent at the very least, which is drastic as they are currently solid pieces), also the dev team spent years remaking the new school over and over again, and not only that, but this new update, they did AGAIN. they made a new dorms building that makes all the pool tasks impossible, the got rid of the locker court yard, and they made a new main school map that combines the old main campus map with the locker courtyard. so yes, the dev team has the time and resources to make this change. theres literally no reason they cant do it other then not having their priorities in the right place.
and its been done before. astro renaissance can, so i dont understand why the dev team cant either.
and also where is the justice for physically disabled people either? the dev team hasnt added in mobility aids and wheelchairs like other similar games have either. im not physically disabled, so im going to leave it at that, but ive seen people talk about that too.
i just want people to start using their voice to care about BOTH problems. please. thats all we ask.

I actually made a video where i mentioned body diversity issues! I completely agree, this pisses me off so much.
I don’t think that the devs deserve all the hate they get, HOWEVER. This freaking STINGS. We had a few years with new updates with GENUINE male toggles, and people loved them, used them, bought them, traded them, etc. I almost STRICTLY make traditionally masculine outfits, with the occasional fem outfit, but I almost always make male outfits. I love my fits, share em with my friends. I have several trans masculine friends, and as a cis man myself, we all love making tall, masculine ocs and trying new combos. I love this game, play it for hours doing the quests, spent 800k on my dorm, make friends, all that good stuff. I love the update and the castle’s heart is gorgeous, but then comes the issue of content. Valid point the new masculine body types are just girl bods with no boobs. I like the new heels, but to use them I need to use the feminine toggles because MIRACULOUSLY THOSE WORK BETTER FOR THE MALE BODY. The scaling system as is is bullshit. Doesn’t fit the boy body, way too low. Then comes the issue of plus sized sets. The bodices are pinpoint thin and attractive by European standards. The game sure is inclusive! If you’re straight haired, skinny, female, and wealthy.
And Calin is a fucking baby.
There are two things from the game *Animal Jam* that I think would make the world of Royale High MUCH more enjoyable:
1. Adventures
If you've ever played Animal Jam, you probably know where I'm headed with this idea. For those who don't know, however, "Adventures" were pretty much little stories you can play around within the game, outside of the roleplaying world. Usually, these Adventures connect in some way, mostly connected by a problem created by the main antagonist. I think this sort of thing would bring more volume to the game as it would help with building the story of Royale High, such as giving us an ACTUAL story besides being all like "Oh hi, welcome to Royale High!" and not much else. It doesn't have to be a visual novel (because that would be super boring, right?), in fact, let's have some COMBAT, and use those elemental powers of ours! Or maybe it doesn't always have to be combat, it can be puzzles, platforming, boss battles, or whatever it can be! It also doesn't have to be the same formula either, you should be able to do whatever you want with it! All I'm trying to say is if we had something more related to the Royale High lore, then the idea of adventures from Animal Jam would be a great opportunity to spring some life back into the game!
2. Recycling
In Animal Jam if there's an item you no longer want (den or clothing item) you can "recycle" your items and get some currency back. So if I make the mistake of buying an item twice, PLEASE give me a refund...

At this point, so many people are gonna quit the game because of the Royale high people not listening to us in the community. Literally no one asked for them to make a change to the masc accessories. (The new bodice’s masc toggle on female body) it makes me upset that they think we want this. The masc toggle would be fine if people wanted maybe a kid or a smaller male but for people(such as me) who play as a masculine person all of the time, it’s upsetting to think that we aren’t able to get new stuff without it having the possibility to be too feminine. I think the people making things for Royale high need to listen to us in the community. Now I don’t know much so correct me if I’m wrong in anything.

I don’t get how forcing male players to be in a body that looks nothing like a masculine body is “female empowerment”. It’s insanity. I would wanna quit, but if I told my cousin, she’d be so confused on why it’s harmful either way.
people are forgetting them name the very little hairs for black players with sterotypical black names, royal high was never inclusive. they did the bare minimum for most 'inclusive' items
i 100% agree here! I actually spoke about this in a previous video, "bones I piocked with royale high costumization". This was always bad, I agree so much.

I always thought calin was odd, but i was too scared to speak out for fear of being banned from royal high or blocked by calin or any other people from the rh team.
And its gonna be hard for me to do masculine cosplays, like im trying to make a mr tumnus (from the chronicles of narnia) outfit, but..

the removal of the lockers and the dorms being downgraded makes me so sad. now theres only like 3 groups of lockers and it doesn't look like a school at all. they've clustered the office,classrooms, and dorm washrooms all in the same place and its so chaotic. i loved the way classrooms and lockers were together and was organized but it just looks thrown together. I understand making it for the christmas update but permanently? as for snowglobe sumit going away why is it up to one dev just because they dont like it. if they thought it was old they shoulve revamped it. royale high has become a dress up game with no activities to do because all the seasonal updates are only inside the castle :(

It's really telling how many problems most of the developers have when it comes to listening to the fanbase. The update is the same formula, except that the phase is updated to fit Christmas. I do wish there was more even though there was more variety with male bodies. It's always female getting attention, but we need masc love! Great video.
Calin saying "making something new" really is giving same formula update like we have now, everything we get is somehow how deemed "new" the only new thing is the phase everything else is the same, or adjusted, add-ons, or whatever is being implemented. It's only a matter of time when the Royale High Community had enough.
Can we just talk about how getting the tree badge is almost impossible to get? Like, I tried getting it with a bunch of people today, and just as I thought it would work, it turns out it didn't. The tree never fell down, I didn't get the badge, and everyone just gave up. 😭😭
I got like 9 people and it worked you have to hit it from the back and everyone has to hit it like 25 times

I did it very early in the month and it was pretty hard to actually hit the tree, and got really annoying because of that but once we did it right it went pretty quick. It wasn't worth it tho

As a Nonbinary person I love the new torso as I never felt comfortable with either the female or Male body but this isn't fair for masc and ESPECIALLY transmasc players I wish everyone could just be included instead of one community always being cut out or ignored. We all deserve representation
yall don't know how to appreciate the work of the devs, they have been working so hard for new content and campus 3 is not even fully released yet, theres tons of new stuff to come but it just takes time, the new gameplay is in the works at the time so please be nice and have respect, lets try to help barbie to make rh a better game in general! and for the body models, im hoping for barbie to realise that it needs to be both types of bodies in the game, the new ones and the older ones, so that there is more diversity! tysm for reading and i hope you get to understand that we need to be positive about the new content in the game that they have been working on so hard ! as a trans person as well (ftm) im absolutely pissed at barbie. royale high is a way for me to show of my masculinity when i cant irl for reasons. this is so messed up. i will be quitting rh if this happens because i will NOT be prancing around royale high in a dress and heels when im MALE and feel uncomfortable using female body types/ proportions.
I miss the winter town. I was excited about being able to hang out there again and wait for santa drops, drink hot choco with friends and etc
They're really just taking away the enjoyable parts of the game. I would be okay with not being able to properly dress as my gender, if the game wasn't advertised as inclusive. Overall, I just feel robbed of all the wasted time and money most of us spent on this game only for it to be killed by the devs. It's just truly sad. At this point we can't do anything about this, just "complain' about the game, since criticism isn't ever taken into account. We "complain" because we like this game and want to play it, but at some point we're just not able to anymore if there's no joy associated with the game. Every bit of joy I had with this game is removed bit by bit, and I know I'm not alone with this.
I mean, they have to change and make new realms since some players might find it really boring if they keep using the same realm every year. I know they try their best to make the new school and game nice but the items are so expensive

How hard it is to release when you are hoping they like it and they peer pressure you to release it early so then you split the release into parts because instead of taking years you will do them in parts so your fans at least get something! Then when it gets around Christmas time or Halloween or whatever you have to release a not that good seasonal event because you have to make sure you fit with the community standards since they won't wanna stay because they are mad at you because you didn't have a seasonal event and you were too busy working on the new update. YOU CAN NEVER IMPRESS EVERYONE. and this part of the community is one part they will never impress because your standards are always too high. The map update kinda sucks to me because 1) Why isn't the office the first room we go to when we enter the school? 2) The new dorm room sucks, they removed the pool 3) Heart of the school no longer has the powder rooms. Adding to the body stuff, as a fem player who has recently been wanting to express myself in more masc ways, this update is awful. I cannot tell the difference between the new masc and fem toggles, and it makes me feel awful to be honest that I can't have a more masc avatar with these new clothes.

I enjoy this update honestly. The only bad parts in my opinion is trading contraversy/ male body contraversy which are different topics. The thing needed to be talked about is how the new school lowkey isn't finished after we were assured that it was earlier this year. I'm thankful that we not only have new advent items, but new SET items and a new set coming that we haven't had in over a year.
I agree! It would have more content if they added student and guard NPCs that can give us quest and we get rewarded for it! Same like the Diamond beach update that used to have quests
You took the words out of my mouth with point 4. The game has gotten so boring and just not fun to play ever since the new school came out. Which sucks since it was hyped up for literally 2 years and has so much potential. Unless RH can add the actual gameplay that made the game fun in the first place, a lot of players are going to quit.

My sis and I were talking about going back to Royale high with the new update and she said: "I don't really wanna go back anymore, Royale high has been much of a showcase place than it is an actual game", I was shocked and I shouldn't be because that's exactly what it is and only now am I noticing because in my mind actual gameplay isn't needed because at its core Royale high gameplay is roleplay and dressing up.
I wasn't inclined to believe her yet but the more I played I was starting to see what she meant-
The Royale high from the start had always been about the school and its activities(gameplay) AND Roleplay
(My sis was og Enchantraverse player so she knew what she was saying)
With the new school all we're getting is some tasks to do while we wait for the phases to release.
I wanna be able to do something other than farm for hours on end and grind levels, some minigames to play where we can work to earn some diamonds and or xp, like how we do in Sunset Island. Challenges like hunting eggs in the Easter update to get items and like the quests in diamond Beach those were good once, because if you wind down in your dorm having taken in all what the latest update has to offer you're left wondering what else to do in the game.
As a non-binary person who also sometimes dressed masculine (more of feminine tho), I was super disgusted by the male body update. At this point, I just think that Royale High is messing up instead of improving itself, and I do not know what the goddamn "devs" even work for anymore. We need rights!

As a trans guy it really sucks. I do like making feminine outfits, but naturally i want to feel masculine. It really sucks since my outfits are usually more feminine than masculine (10 fem outfits and 2 masculine -- the masculine outfits use the same items).
New editing style is improvement! Havent seen anyone comment on it but i definitely like it way more than before. & I also agree that the update was just pretty colors and no new content other than the calendar but im gonna wait in my seat til the next (real) update.

I'm a cis male and I play this game regularly. Why on earth would they remove the masc body toggles?! Half of their fanbase uses it. RH is gonna loose their place as the main "dress-up" game soon if they keep this up.

This whole update since the school was released the update has been dissapointing. Ive personally been playing Royale High for 5 years and ive waited for about 3 years for this school just for it to make only people above 500 in the the realms and not to update the school for like 3 months. When they do update the school it is just a set back for the school by them removing realms for the school. I think this whole glitter frost update would have been better if they just added snow globe summit. There is nothing to really do in this "Glitterfrost update" Yes the advent was a good update but that's all really. for players who dress masculine this is not fair for them. Masculine players haven't had any major updates for them and Barbie is only focusing on the female player base vy them literally REMOVING the masculine options for players. And one more thing for glitter frost it is again a delayed update. Royale High delaying updates is just repetitive and honestly just expected by now. Then we have Calin... Calin is self absorbed and completely stuck up and petty. If i'm being honest if there was a vote to kick off a Royale High dev it would be calling (most likely) This comment is relating to the update as of now.

As a transmac preteen who CANNOT have an masculine body in real life yet, this update is disappointing af, i tried to make an masculine body with the new torso and arms but it just AGHHH it doesn't work at all! I feel alwful about not being able to express myself anymore!!
the devs and barbie need to take their meds and open their eyes because theyre being extremely stupid and just full on immature. its insane how this entire game changed over the years, it used to be fun and exciting now you just walk around like a zombie doing quests and dressing up. and you cant even dress up if you dont have enough diamonds to buy REALLY expensive stuff, so you have to spend your days grinding for shit and not enjoying it at all. its not a fun experience anymore, it truly changed. and the development is so messy as well its unbelievable. they talk about us being grateful, but this wouldnt have happened if you didnt procastinate and worked on updates earlier on. we dont know what happens behind the scenes, but one thing is for sure, their time management and just project management in general is really messy and NEEDS to be fixed.

I understand this year that their main focus was the new school but my issue is they should of set up sn update for maybe every other day or twice a week before the Halloween so the school is opened already then they would have time to work on Halloween better and for Christmas. Nothing new activities. SnowGlobe Summit had a lot of activities and things to do.
But GlitterFrost doesn’t have anything new activities that are winter themed.
The decorations are just Christmas tree. The classroom has some stockings. I will admit, it’s pretty. But for some reason I don’t feel the winter/Christmas vibe from it.
The masculine toggles. I don’t understand, just because most of the players are girls doesn’t mean that you have to take away masculine stuff. What are you getting from it? Less players.

Does anyone else feel like the new winter halo isn’t that great? I mean don’t get me wrong it’s pretty but it feels rushed. Don’t even get me started on the apple bobbing problem this year I was saving up for the magical broomstick but since candy farming wasn’t that fun I just turned it into diamonds instead. Halos are overrated (I’m sorry but someone had to say it) sure they’re pretty but It’s not fair how a bunch of new players can win halos in months when older players have been waiting years to get one and some of the people in the community are so toxic I just wanna play peacefully and do fun roleplays like how it used to be, when it wasn’t about getting rich but about having a good time and making friends.
Agreed, the new halo is giving winter 2020 but reworked.
I really hope they don't actually remove the boy body and male toggles, but give us a choice to choose what kind of body we want, maybe 3 buttons like the female and male buttons in the body, add an extra for those who wanna use the new bodices?? I don't know, cause I'm honestly super mad about this- it seems like such a hastle to do because of all the male toggles already existing, they'd have to remove all those PLUS every player that wants to make a Male OC is gonna struggle trying to make their OC masculine. I love making Male OC's myself, for roleplays and I just have no idea what I'm gonna do if this happens :(

issues with royale high
1: what you mentioned about updates that are just nicely decorated rooms to admire in awe with no real fun stuff to do
2: musical chairs is the only class we have so far and it doesn't really have any of the charm the old classes had which imo were pretty fun and simple
3: leaving us with an unfinished school with little to nothing to do
4: the creators of rh seem to be having trouble with moving sunset island from 2018 to 2023
overall royale high is just a boring and dull exploration simulator with nothing intresting to do so far

It was actually fun but now Royale has focused on it being pretty and all that but what about haveing fun in the game and do new things and not having to do the same thing over and over again . royale high and their gaslighting is honestly crazy. Whenever the community speaks about their opinions that may not be so positive, they just throw out some meaningless apology like "we deeply apologize and will try to improve in the future" but they never actually do. When rh influencers were speaking out about the bhm incident (earlier this year I believe??) the devs shut them down, took away their badges, and completely avoided responding to them.
Royale high would be better if they improved with communication, at the end of the day, don't make promises that you can't keep, it just gives them an even worse look.

Honestly, as a 2018 player kid, I used to play this with my sister which is an actual og player. But the problem is, we used to be playing royale high like 6 hours a day. I, am still playing but my sister quitted playing roblox in general because of school, i still have my freedom. I have gotten abit richer, however I like cross dressing and all so... Anyways.
The thing is, the only reason why I actually play Royale high was waiting for Campus 3. From 2020 they released about the new campus, and now its finally here. Now that is released, i am very dissapointed. RH Developers could have just used those 3 FUCKING YEARS to make better things. I am extremely disapointed. Im quitting until the next year to redo my daily login of 137 days and to continue my one and only goal.
Also, the dorms are rigged. I have tried to do them but I just dont have the diamonds. Im thinking of giving away and quitting RH but I'll be waiting for a better update if RH gets better. Just...
*Basically the main story is*: I am an OG player that plays RH and cross dresses and RP's. The only reason I kept playing was for campus 3. I one hundred procent agree with your opinion. I started playing when I was 12 with my friend, when they announced that their are working on anew school we were both very excited. We loved role playing in the game, but after they kept on basically lying that the new school is coming like I swear they said that like every two months or something anyways after a while my friend quit I don’t blame her either because it just got really annoying. So I just started playing like 4 months ago, and I’m not gonna lie I find this really disappointing. I was really excited for this update. I mean it is very pretty it’s just that I was really wishing for a storyline like the story they narrated at the very start when you get your first element. Just in general being able to make outfits is fun I guess but I agree, there is nothing to do. I thought that maybe with the fact that we have powers and stuff we would get like different quests depending on your element. But this hole thing is really boring, I have to admit I’m actually really sad about this because I was super excited. But the devs keep on messing up, and for some reason don’t want to listen to their community. I really hope they fix the way they’re doing things. Because this game can’t be called a role play game anymore, if there is nothing to work with.
As a fem player the masc thing is just really unfortunate. For years I’ve been watching the masc players be disregarded by the developers, and just when it seemed to barely be getting better, (we were getting masc versions of sets) This frankly stupid update is made. I personally love how the old masc body looks and how tall it is. It makes a nice base for some very cool outfits (even though there are barely any masc items) Masc players have also gotten nothing but ugly hairstyles lately (as in the last TWO YEARS) Not to mention, the castle heart is very lame to me, the logic of it being “a place to stay warm” (quoted from the update log) is so stupid!! Royale high makes winter clothes! The removal of the old dorm quarters is also very sad as it was a really chill little sanctuary. After you do the “Timburr” mission and the “Chimney Surfer”mission there is nothing to do in the castle heart. Think about this, you can have more fun in the APARTMENTS (created 2019) than in this giant and pretty lobby in a setting that has so much potential. That is what encompasses modern RH. These are the things that you look forward to in a modern royale high, 1 or two new items in the store that you can’t afford, a pretty lobby in the school with nothing to do, and a halo that you’re not gonna win. TLDR, The new school is wasted potential, Old royale high was better. There is no quantity and no quality.

3:21 Speaking of gender dysphoria, for those of us who are AFaB trans people {trans men or enbies with chest dysphoria specifically} who do like to dress in feminine clothing, the homogenization of all of the sets that is happening is still bad! I nearly vomited Halloween before last when they updated my favorite corset, the Darling Valentina corset, to have massive breasts. I used that top in all of my outfits, and the horror of the idea of opening those outfits so I could remove it and having to look at the chest when I did felt like a violation. Thankfully, because they also updated the toggle system with that update, I did not have to actually look at it, but the chilling shock of horror I experienced when I first saw it and realized I might have to, followed by the subsequent resignation to only ever using the December's Dream and Goddess of Triumph {yeah, the flattest torso in the game for the fem body is the one that costs real money} was surprisingly upsetting. And now, it looks like *all* of the feminine sets in future are going to have very distinct breasts, and they might update old ones to be the same. I literally got into the game because it let me dress androgynously built characters in pretty dresses without assigning them a specific gender to do so in any meaningful way, and the fact that appears to be slowly ceasing to be possible is deeply miserable, as I have not yet found any other game with a robust avatar editor that lets me make a character with a flat chest and wide hips. I might have to abandon the game soon, and I have been playing for years and have literally gotten on the leaderboard. Miserable.
Edit: 'Feminine' and 'fem' do NOT mean 'female', 'for girls', or 'woman'. Femininity and masculinity are aspects of gender performance, but they are not gender, the issue is not them making 'too many girl hairs' or whatever, they made it clear by labeling those categories 'feminine' and 'masculine' that they are not 'for girls' and 'for boys'. I agree with a lot of the points made here and in the comments, but good lord, 'feminine', 'female', and 'for girls' are NOT interchangeable phrases/concepts.
Isn't gender dysphoria a disorder or used to be seen as one, or not, please let me know I don't have any ill intentions.
Gender Dysphoria is a disorder where a person feels distressed about how their body looks with their assigned gender. To treat it, the person is reccomended to transition to the gender they feel they are - for example, if youre assigned a girl at birth, it's reccomended you get binders or hormonal treatment to look like a boy;etc.

@@wilbyyy. Thanks for the polite response but I do have more questions. Why is it seen safe for kids to transition, even though I understand the meaning of it, it causes many children to detransition regretting their transition. I feel it should be 18+ or even 25 when the brain is full developed, so you know what is best for you. Also, don't binders injure the chest? I don't think it's safe to wear them as it misplaces the chest area. As well as hormones, but that is just what I have found from research. Finally, do you have any opinion about the doctors giving transitional treatment just because people said they felt misplaced in their body, first treatment. Please help me answer these questions as I have been having them for a sometime. :)

This are very calid concerns!
Firstly, I'd like to say theres two ways to transition: One is socially, where you cut/grow out your hair, wear clothes of the gender you wish to tansition to, use binders (optionally) and change your name and pronouns. This is 100% safe and reversable, of course. I believe this is also the option people under 18 should be doing, and are usually doing.
The other transition method is medical transition. It includes bottom and sometimes top surgery, hormonal treatment and other prosedures. **this is usually done when the trans perosn themselves can consent to it, meaning, after the age of 18**.
I know there are cases of child transitions but I do not believe theyre as common as people make it out to be, and I personally do not stand by children medically transitioning myself. (Im 17 and im not transitioning yet, soo..)
That is not to discredit the stories of actual detransitioneirs, they are valid and I respect them fully!
Lastly, I do not believe most doctors give transitional treatment first meeting. A lot of trans people are on waiting lists for up to 4 years, even in the United States. I'm utterly baffled and confused why and where these doctors come from, because I've never heard such stories from trans people, only the polar opposite!
But, if it does happen, I personally think it needs to be a bit more established than a first meeting.

I agree with your opinions on the anti-masc portion of the update, but i dont think you realize how long it takes to make stuff like classes and working systems. They probably spent so much time on thigns they couldnt fully test stuff and so thats why some realms arent updated yet and quests are buggy. They have to redesign the ENTIRE school build and all the realms for Christmas as-well as fix features and work on new realms. It takes a while and i dont feel like some people recognize how long it takes
FACTS I agree with u, people ignore everything and always look for a reason to complain in my opinion I love this update

It definitly does! Thats why the team should get bigger, and focus more on content which will actually last them rather than recreating the school lobby every once in a while. :) They had 3 years to release the school which is rather lackluster, and now don't quite release the new events in super dooper high quality, either. This is quite sad.

i get what youre saying, and i agree with some points, but (i know you arent the one who wrote this) at 2:20 the whole "pro-feminine" thing is not that big a deal. Literally look around, everything is pink (i know boys can like pink, but this is just part of my point) and at gender reveals, pink is used as a GIRL color. (again, i know boys can like pink just making a point) and wasnt when it was created they called it a "princess game" just my opinion, yk? people shouldnt beat up the devs just for making girly stuff in a princss game when there is always other boy sets. A lot of the playerbase are transmasculine people or boys. Some of the devs are also, in fact, men. This game claims to be "inclusive" and "for everyone". Thats something the devs pride themselves in. Thats why it's important to talk about their flaws on this "inclusivity".
its so annoying because at first we all looked the same cs we dont get shit from the devs anymore, but i cant blame them given the fact most of them were kids and some still are. yet what i can blame barbie for is the fact she hired KIDS out of all people, if i remember right, im pretty sure vioncii started developing on rh at 14??
and also the fact that although now we still look like everyone else practically, cs everything else we got was horrible looking compared to the female version, or the stuff we got was female only, now, we will look like twinks. as a ftm, this is just horrible because im already experiencing a lot of gender dysphoria and if we will be looking like twinks, i doubt i will be able to handle it and ill js move all the way to female fits, i already barely play compared to in the past when we atleast had somewhat of an equality, but this new bodytype for men is literally horrible. imo they should also fucking fire calin already or atleast lecture him for the way hes constantly talking abt the community on twitter and constanty guilt tripping us.
Im female, but I do think that maybe they should make a whole new masculine set, or atleast a female set with DECENT masc toggles, because even as a girl I find it easy to side with others instead of the devs
How about they finish the school 1st and communicate with us. Doesn’t help that a lot of ppl are antsy bc the phases stopped coming out for quite some time, so that on top of us masc users basically being cut out of the picture is NOT going to mix well. If ur gonna change ANYTHING, ADD body types. They added vitiligo, good job! Now add Plus size. What happened to santa bringing presents? The tree is there but the presents aren't interactable. They have a Chimney with everyone in the server having a stocking but nothing new to interact with. I've gotten so lost with the layout that I'd rather take 3 minutes to teleport everywhere and yet they somehow made the campus feel hollow. Callin really was projecting when they called us dumb.
That tweet by @Royale Reports/ Vance was very weird...."females"? and then saying boys in the same tweet..? I understand the concern and I think it is terrible what is happening but this does not excuse masc players recent misogyny on twitter. It is not fem players faults that the developers decided to do this + excluding masc players.

Yes omg I was going to point this out. It seems like a lot of the people complaining just want an excuse to throw hate at women and be blatantly misogynistic.
