    Cool to hear his perspective choosing Mexico, as a USMNT/Galaxy fan, his decision was tough but totally justified. Hopefully he stays with us at least through the season before making the jump 🤞

    Sick video and dope channel!
    As a Mexican American kid I Love all my young dual nationals coming up lately and I can relate to you guys loving/growing up with Mexico football always on at home. You guys have tough decisions to make, but I know you guys will choose correctly and bring El Tri to the 5th game and BEYOND!! Johan and Jonathan, can’t wait to see you guys representing Mexico 🇲🇽
    It’s crazy I’ve always supported Mexico, but when I see guys like Julian who literally represent me and my life growing up as a Mexican American, it makes me root for Mexico even more, yet at the same time with guys like Pepi, I have to at least show a little bit of love to the USMNT too. Haha.
    Keep up the good work boys. More videos!! Get Marcelo Flores, that would be crazy!

    Lovely content, cool to hear about the things dual-nats have to go through when choosing which NT to play for

    LOVE this interview! Great questions too! I also really like how Julian describes the pressure the players feel as beautiful and that it encourages him to try harder and do better. Really destroys the argument many in the US fanbase and media have about that it's bad to put that kind of pressure on our players.

    Julian, I'm glad you chose to represent Mexico. Your story will resonate in generations to come. You and David Ochoa are leading the way into a new era of Mexican soccer. Como mexicano, me da mucho orgullo saber que jugarán por el TRI. Johan y Jonathan, a ustedes también los estamos esperando con mucha ilusión y con todo el apoyo.

      @xboscarx a lot of these dual nats haven't been paying attention of what Mexico has been doing. They cap these kids for a couple games and then never call them again.

    Would have been cool to ask him how the Mexican players received him as a Chicano?

    • @wetguavass
      @wetguavass Год назад

      USA gov created the term Chicano, not for good reasons.

    Why he choose Mexico? Because he can’t cut it in the usmnt, Like effrain alverez , Johnathan Gonzalez. He has more opportunities in Mexico.

      This. I still respect him cuz he has talent but rn the usmnt does have depth.
