I'm very interested in reading the Alexandria Quartet now. From the Holy Mountain also sounds very interesting.

They're both really good! I hope you enjoy them if you get to them.

I really enjoy the centred, quiet calm that you create as you respond to reading - very insightful.

“From the holy mountain” sounds like a true delight. I will find a copy. Also, if you’d like some commentary on Paradiso, I uploaded a ton of videos about it on my channel (more than I should have).

Thank you, Aaron. I had not really thought about reading Lawrence Durrell but I am encouraged to give him a go based on your reviews and this wrap up. Sounds like you’ve been doing some interesting reading and have some ahead. Thanks for your words about Alice. As you say, missing her around BookTube way.

Great reading wrap up and reading plans. I really must get around to reading the Alexandria Quartet. You have really sold it in your review 😊. I didn’t know Alice but that news was so very sad. My condolences to everyone who knew her ❤

I just realized Lawrence is brother to Gerald. I enjoyed Gerald’s book My Family and Other Animals! 😅

I'm very curious about My Family and Other Animals now. I've had it waiting on my shelves for ages and have never given it a go!

@@aaronfacer it’s hilarious, beautiful, and seems slightly like fiction. 😂😂😂
