Of course the story is nice to listen to all kinds of ways, but the WAY Marlowe communicates with anyone - including his loves one(s) we learn in this here episode - hardly can be called 'intelligent'!
Wow, this story really threw me for a loop. I don't know who the good guy is!
I finally had to look up what a gimlet cocktail is. Gin, lime cordial and ice. Now we know.
People still drink them occasionally. Usually Rose's Lime juice is the preferred mix.
Has to be 50/50 gin and Rose' lime cordial; just ask Terry Lennox.
