It's so hard to be motivated to lucid dream when you gotta wake up for work tomorrow. I've had so many experiences where I'd wake up in REM and fall back asleep in a lucid dream where I would see the most wonderful things but remember that I have work and force myself awake.

I recently had my first lucid dream but it was quite short, I attempted to read something in my dream and couldn’t, that’s what allowed me to realize I was dreaming. Then instantly I woke up after all the sensations I normally feel came rushing back to me.

I started by using DILD, it worked fine, was getting around 4-5 LD per month.
Then I switched to WILD, in the start I didn't get anything, but then I realized it works all I had to go was get up... so I try moving my hand, if I could move it through my pillow, I'm in LD.

One dream yoga technique is to constantly see your waking life as a dream. Keep reminding yourself throughout the day. Eventually it will also become a habit in the dream state when you sleep. And you will become spontaneously lucid.

Could you be specific on how exactly you do that. How do you make yourseld think is a dream?

@@TheRebel-ml6sy Assume a 3rd person perspective where you "watch yourself" going about your business throughout the day. And try to keep that perspective when you get emotionally charged up about something.

Of course, we should also never give up, but don't set intentions for this, because negative intentions don't work. :)
My method of choice is MILD. I'm sure I've mentioned that on here before. It's what I love the most.

Saturated fat in butter, pastries, ice cream, cookies, & the cholesteral is very dangerous. Please remove it from your healthy nourishment, so you don't have to suffer. Much love, Hug.

Why is it that when I realize I'm dreaming, I wake up every time? One time I realized I was dreaming then stopped. I was running from my father who wanted to shoot me for some reason. I stopped, started touching my the wall and the things around me, (heard it stabilizes dream) but the dream just faded. Another time I realized I was dreaming and before I could even do anything I just was in my bed. What can I do to change this?

Its now 01.26 im on night 5 of my same lucid dream, yes night 5!
Ive awoken, deliberately coming out of this dream. I think about this particular place and scenario during daytime also.
Ive become so proficient at lucidity that this is a regular part of my sleep now.
There are probably be people that are sceptical about this, i can assure myself and everyone reading this its true. Its got to the point where i can change from this dream back to continue a previously remembered dream,to continue to finish my goal, then return to the current dream.
    I hope this makes sense?
Lucid dreaming has changed my everyday life considerably over many years. Turning bad experiences around to good ones.
Just my say thats all. Going back to sleep now, fingers crossed 🤞

Today I was going for a morning nap, I have never had a wild yet, I tried to stay conscious, I was like thinking and some images were in my mind, then suddenly all images and thoughts stoped and I heard like a wild animal a big boar coming towards me while I was in bed, that shit was terrifying!! Although that's some progress in terms of wilds.

really? I just had a massive non-lucid dream last night after several nights of not remembering my dreams, and the only difference was that last night I burned a stick of nag champa.
