- Southend Seafront and Audi TT Mk1 cars. What more could you ask for?
A great place for a car meet and it took me back to my youth but got to see some great Modified Audi TT Mk1 3.2 cars as well as some standard Audi TT V6 cars also. There were a few Audi TT Mk1 225 cars also, including some with interesting modifications.
1st time I had seen an Audi TT mk1 with an LPG conversion.
Also on display was a Mk2 Audi TT Roadster and a few Audi TT mk1 roadsters.
Fine conversation, great people and awesome setting for the cars.
Most cars had Baseball stitch interior which is very unusual rue to its rarity including 1 Audi TT Mk1 with Black Baseball Stitch interior.
Looking forward to attending again and also heading up to the Motorist this weekend so see plenty more Audi TTs!
Great cars, nice location. Interesting to see modified V6's not often you see that. And Black baseball stitch, thats a first for me to, didn't know they existed!
You can't polish a turd, but you can stick some palm tree's in it...Southend..lol....great cars on show there. Hope to make it to one of these meets one day....

Great low key meet video. Love the MK1's but the Black Manual MK2 2 ltr won our heart when we decided to sell our BMW. Used as training wheels ;-) for few years until we found our Dealer had a Black Manual TT RS in immaculate condition and would take ours back for a good deal. SOLD! But would love a MK1 Roadster for the wife but not that common here!
Never seen the baseball stitching in the mk1’s, nice video 👍🏼

Hi Andy have you any advice on how to fix my mk 1 haldex problem. Had a parasitic draw on the battery from its fuse number 31. Been told there's no service kits. Running with the fuse out at the moment and just front wheel drive hope you can shine some light on this problem many thanks
Hi Joe. Thanks for your comment. My Electrical knowledge is fairly limited but I know the Haldex should have an earthing strap that tends to fail. Have you looked at that? I’m not sure if it could cause your issue but worth ruling it out
Just put it on the ramp, yes I think it is an earth strap just fell off in my hand, I take it it earth the diff to the body I'll put that back to rule it out. Can you tell me if you can run these cars just with front-wheel drive? Thank you very much for getting back to me
@@joedymott6286 a local garage came and removed the fuse and drove it a few miles to the garage so it must be fine to do so mate 👍
How do I get it hear about future TT meets ?
Where are you based Ryan? Lots of chatter on the Facebook groups and I tend to talk about them and post up details about them on my channel and the live chats on Sunday night?
