This video hit hard. My family were never supportive (of anything, not even just acting) and crushed my self esteem and self worth early, I ended up with terrible social anxiety that essentially made me miss out on my 20's.
I'm 31 next week and only just trying to take charge of my life again - getting past the vulnerability barrier is definitely where I'm struggling as all my life my vulnerability had been used against me.
i wanted to be an actor every since i was little and this video really inspired me to work harder into becoming a successful actor

You have to clear your own personal blocks. You gave to be able to be vulnerable in front of anybody. You have to be comfortable looking silly. You have to be comfortable making mistake. And you have to break the thing inside of you that doesnt want people to see. Because as doon as you allow people to see all of the sudden you get access to things that you didn't realize you has access to.

You will have to want it enough without the fame, if acting is what you love and you are truly passionate about it, do it. But being famous doesn’t always mean that you are successful, it just means that you are known.
I. Just love to act so much and my dream will come true
Being famous is a 1 in a million chance. Now, not saying you're not that, but you must have passion for acting and work ethic first, before becoming famous. Fame is extra stress and work load. If you can't even work as an Actor and take those hits and work non-stop, how are you going to be able to handle fame?

I grew up with no one giving me advice about anything in life. Anything from the time I was a teenager that was worth hearing came from Will Smith. He said if you have a question about anything in life, there's a book on it. Those words saved my life. I would be dead had I not heard them.

I was always living in fear because my own people would bring me down on my dreams. 5 kids a husband and a job that requires my full time. I have decided its my time. Im going for it. I have received small opportunities but that’s how you grow. I know so many ppl say that ur goal should never be to be “famous”. My goal is to be able to have people take me seriously in the industry. I want to show other young people who are like me that they can do it too. There r so many young kids who have no idea what they’re capable of and they won’t realize it until they try. yeah great advice for everything:) I'm a performing musician and not naturally comfortable in front of people. I can tell WS has really had to deal with his own maturity in performing and center himself. This is part of some great lessons for growth for me thanks for the clip! I'll be watching out for my 'blocks' and opening up :) notice that he even said it's okay to be nervous. it's kinda about honesty and openness.

I'm not an actor but this was very inspirational. This is good advice that anyone can take in.
Idk it’s kind of sad to me.. I’ve been a person who ALWAYS had a passion for acting. Since I was a LITERAL CHILD (as far back as I could remember). It was kind of like a hidden talent. I would play & act like the characters from movies & tv shows, I’d memorize the lines INSTANTLY (Of course it had to catch my interest but that’s easy lol).. I would do all this BY MYSELF & occasionally I still find myself talking (not so much acting) out certain movie scenes.
Seeing this is VERYYY inspirational to me but I lose soo much hope seeing all you other beautiful & talented people having the same dream as me. & like he said, 99 percent of those people won’t make it (It’s so sad to even THINK I would be one of those people 💔) I just hope & pray one day that I can be somebody who someone looks up to. I want to be one of those celebs who actually communicates with my fans & does the good thing for communities.. MY community. I want to star in big movies & even if the movie is a flop, I want PEOPLE to say I played my role the best. I just wanna make people happy 😊. But now idk if that’s possible 😒

ThaT would have an effect on my acting career because I know that I cant have two careers. At the moment I'm writing a script for a movie to come out soon. I love my friends so much, they support me and they want me to follow my dreams, and I will be an actor, Lord willing. I'm not in it for the money, or the fame, I'm in this because it's my dream. I like Will Smith. a lot of movies he in like Bad Boys, M.I.B, Focus, ID, I Am Legend, etc. hes such a happy guy, hes just so happy like nothing is wrong with him. I want to be like him... always happy, and his words are just beutiful. Im 15 years old now, and i got no idea about what i want to be. im somehow just so terrible at my class. never got down graded but its just bad. and i know my parents work really hard for me. they give advice, courage, beutiful words for me. I want to take the words and just like "do it!" or "You can do it!"
