If you already know how the sitting on air trick is done; or how the old yogi levitating in a sitting position while holding on to a stick, is done - same principle employed here. There is a hidden support underneath the clothing and that ultimately connects the subject to the ground. My guess is the hidden support extends from his abdomen or knees to the cart handle. He's wearing special a special glove-like mechanism to connect it to the cart. It's designed to look like human hands. The cart is also specially modified with its center of gravity skewed to front to counter his weight in the back so that it doesn't topple back.

If you look carefully you can actually see the employee's jewellery get pulled towards the shopping trolley as he passes. This is due to the very strong magnets.

Three things to note:
1) The cart is different from every other cart in the supermarket (even the one supporting his feet in the beginning)
2) Around 2:01 and 2:21 (see point 3 below), there's a bulge on his left side jacket, if you look carefully. Around his lattisimus
3) in 2:21, when you see his left hand take something from the shelf. That's actually his right hand. Just look at the "low price you love" red sign for the clue (see it?)

Yeah, at 2:17 I was confused because he was holding on with the _other_ hand until I noticed the signs in the background were flipped.
Actually he held the cart first with his left (while waving to a customer with his right) then later with his right (while grabbing an item with his left). Watch the video again.
Yes seeing him actually shop made it that much more authentic.

It's not a Walmart cart, the Walmart carts in the store are green, this is Orange. They put on a light black backpack, then it's out of frame for 3 seconds, I think they swap it for a weighted backpack, maybe with a magnetic or some kind of steering system remote controlled. It's also going downhill in the parking lot, which helps. Inside the store, maybe someone pushes it when the camera doesn't show, like between the aisles. I think there is some kind of clear strong plexiglass attached to the cart, that goes between his arms, under his shirt, that supports his torso. Obviously it is a magic illusion, so it has to be something close to what I'm suggesting. It's still well done... but there are multiple times the camera cuts out and back on when things happen. Also, why didn't he lift at least one of his feet when trying to get on to the rear cart.
And all the rest of us was sure he could fly for real...

I've been following this guy for some time now and am continuously blown away by his brand of magic. His tricks are so unique and mind-blowing, and I see no other magicians doing anything like what he does. There is a welded platform that extends off the back of the shopping cart and goes through his sleeves and under his belly to his hips, and he is laying on his belly on the platform. The front of the shopping cart has been weighted inside the hollow steel tubing to compensate for the weight in the back so it doesn't flip over backward. You're welcome.

Everyone in the store was wearing a mask so there's really no reason to question anything that looks out of place. They are fully protected from falling for common sense.

I don't think the video has been modified with softwares but I may be wrong. I think the cart has been modify or made, it has to be far more heavier and the two bags have been replaced by heavier ones. There is an iron structure that we cannot see hidden by his arms and his clothes that support him up to his knees. Or he is a supernatural creature ... but I prefer the other explanation ...very great illusion anyway !
