@stndoc it means a lot that you commented back.. you are so inspiring! keep up the beautiful work..you are amazing at what you do.. and its a pleasure to watch.. peace, from Stockton
Hey Lee, this piece took about 3.5 hrs. I had to do it in two days because it got cloudy on the first day and sunlight was bad. thanks for the comment.
Hey Attachoftherandom, I used Gris metropolis, Gris Claro, Gris Acer, Flat black and White. I forgot what color I used for the dark red background. Thanks for the post.
Thanks Danny.. honestly, I did have a little trouble because it was a bit windy that day and wind kept blowing the paint in a directions I did not want. That's why if you notice I had to stop and finish painting it the next day. I appreciate the comment and support. Peace.
Aw the wind, yeah it was a privilege watching you paint you got down.I subscribed to you channel thanks for putting one up videos like this help people to direct positive.
Thank you man! And glad this video helped. I get a lot of requests to do some tutorials... which I will do and hopefully people can learn a thing or two... I'm also always learning. Peace bro.
AWESOME !!!!! It was my project to make an aerosol portrait but it seems sooooo complicated...... Did you draw it first with pencil and paper, to be sure of the proportions, details etc ? and I think that this type of portrait needs a lot of different color/shades... It seems so impossible but I will try lol
Esmeralda Gourr This was a commissioned painting and I did sketch it first. I usually freestyle portraits, however, when a client is paying top $$ I make sure it's absolutely accurate. By sketching it first it saves time and also saves a lot on paint. I have another video I did of two girls and those were both freestyle paintings. I used maybe 5 different shades of greys, including black and white. I used Montana 94's. The colors were Black, White, Siberian Grey, Perl Grey, Metropolis grey, and I may have also used some black shadow, but I don't remember LOL. I would love to see your work and how it comes out. They only way it would be impossible for you to do this is if you didn't try at all ;-). You can check more of my work at sergiorueda.com and Instagram @doc43gear and my personal IG @sergiorueda43 Look forward to seeing your work. Peace -Sergio
im pretty sure he was giving you a complement... sorta like saying it would be easier for you to get a photo-realisic large copy by going to kinkos and "printing" it out. great piece btw!
Hey MrKrillz0r, the name of the 2nd song is titled "Jurny" by Sackcloth Fashion I think you can find it on iTunes. I haven't found it in RUclips yet. Peace.
