Tonight was a David Broza concert in Boston and he told the remarkable but little known story behind this video. When the war broke out in 2014 in Israel all events were cancelled, including his scheduled Masada concert. That afternoon he called up his band members and suggested they play anyway and stay for the sunrise. They thought he was nuts but agreed. They rounded up a sound engineer and enough lights to see by - and then David said, "Why not stream it?!" He phoned YNet, who put him onto cameramen (7 at the end! - many of whom just wanted to BE THERE!) So this whole concert was played to maybe 40-50 people. In the morning they had to wait an extra hour till the sun got up over the mists rising from the Dead Sea.
Bravo, music, nature....thoughtful lyrics, great musicians...I've seen you in Toronto, New York and Israel. Gives me inspiration to create... Thank you David Broza.
Tu música me tiene enamorada desde que un día me regalaron tu cd del concierto en Masada de 1994. Todá rabá por tantos momentos geniales!! Espero estar allí la próxima vez que hagas algo en Masada. Neshikot!
I'm not gonna lie, when I saw his documentary I kind of squared him away as "Dad Music" and never really gave a second thought to it. Then today, in wake of the Pittsburgh tragedy my Rabbi called upon all of us to embrace our Jewish identity as emphatically as possible which means Kippah and Tallits never come off, mitzvah on the door. When I sat down to do my work today something told me to look up David Broza. I'm glad I did. This is like Hebrew Jazz and that's really cool.

Fue justo en el periodo de la ultima guerra con Hamas ! Es mas estimulante cantarle a un publico pero hay que felicitarlo pues realizo su actuación !
you forgot to mention there is definitely Brazilian influence in some of his songs (bossa nova,samba...) :)
Estilo Bossa Nova?! Que lindo!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I heard David Broza in music channel about 10 years ago . it's hard to forget it . 但是资源不太好找。

My only question is; did you use the roman way of getting the equipment up there?
