It's because they're interesting and weird. Whether or not someone actually believes them is irrelevant. They're going to believe that their experience was real regardless of the opinions of others. 1:24:44 If anybody is wondering it's the camera or specifically the way it stores the footage that is doing that trailing. That ufo is a bug flying close to the camera. You can see a similar trail happening in the passing car, just less noticeable as it's slower. This is common with ring cameras and other similar cctv cameras. If you where to run past that quickly at night, you would look like a ghost, and parts of you would be missing.
