I just ordered my Roland TD-07DMK 5 days ago. They didn't have the drumsticks i ordered even tho it said they had it in storage when i bought everything. So now the delivery is delayed because of that :( Would love to see a review from you on that kit tho 🥰
How about a video comparing all the electric drum sets you’ve reviewed, and selecting the best one for beginners intermediate & professionals drummers.
Daaaaaang! For the price, the features are pretty gnarly, that it comes with a proper hi-hat stand and all is amazing. Also, it never seizes to amaze me how much nicer the kits sound when you use VST Samples over the stock sounds.
I bought this kit 8 months ago. Takes up little space. For the price you can't beat it. Personally I replaced the throne, added a high end double bass pedal and upgraded the headset. The high-hat has a couple features that were surprisingly interesting. Stay salty rock on
I bought the Donner DED 250 when Samus did a review, and it was pretty solid!! Ive since upgraded to a Roland TD17KVX2, but these kits are great for starting! 💪
@@MoreSmartter I grabbed the v1 instead of the v2 back when it came out because the v1 was on sale and I'm very happy with it and the sounds in the module BUT the TD-17 has been out for a long, long time so if you already have a kit maybe wait until black Friday sales come around in case Roland replaces it?
Every time I watch Samus drum, I wish I had a fraction of his talent. Making it look so easy dude! This kit is pretty sweet for its price too! The USB to PC alone is worth it.
2:55 It was at this point there were 2 wingnuts in the video 😂 Really cool kit. Love the HH stand and USB capability. Included throne is also great for a budget kit.
Hello, I just found your channel because of the drumming you did for a Led Zeppelin song on Drumeo. Great stuff, I subscribed and will be watching more. I'm not the drummer in the house, that's my wife. I had her listen to the Zeppelin video and this one and she says you are very good, and I agree.
That little ditty he plays at 7:17 reminds me of that old school keyboard demo video where the Asian guy plays the drum sounds before saying “double bass” IYKYK
I think that´s one of his points too as to why he demonstrates it. I personally would like him to talk more about the feel of the pads though. I´ve personally always had issues with the feel of rubber pads for the pedal.
Hey Sam, Congrats on all of your success! Thanks for the review, that kit sounds pretty good considering the price point. Of course I’m used to hearing you practice long before you were ever on RUclips being your neighbor. I wonder if you remember all those years ago when I came over and showed you a few things when you were first starting? You have well surpassed my skills and I enjoy following you. Rock On!🎶🥁😎
I think that's because that type of technology is pretty expensive to reproduce, so these cheap kits settle on the basic function first and foremost so they don't end up ballooning the price
In terms of sound modules, maybe, but if you use the MIDI out and tweak a bit there's usually MIDI CC to control and give more articulations and dynamics.
I was originally thinking of getting the Alesis nitro max, but after seeing this kit I changed my mind completely. Only a 50 dollar difference and it comes with a drum throne and a slightly better high had in my opinion. Not sure if this is a smart choice but I think this kit is exactly what I need.
One thing that always annoys me about electronic kits is a lot of them seem to be designed for people who are 5'2" or shorter this one looks like it is mostly a reasonable size.
"I've finally found Jesus O_O and he's a drunk farting metal drummer o_O' " That's the first thought I had after watching one of your videos for the first time as I just discovered this channel a few weeks ago :D To be fair, "drunk" is only there because I've seen the video where you try to play drunk :D I'm really enjoying this channel, thanks for the content, interesting videos, play-through, reviews and funny moments. You definitely look like a nice guy and that makes your videos even more enjoyable to watch! : ) Stay safe and cheers from France!
It f*cking kills me when you say ohh yurrrr 😂!! Especially after a long days work, and then you start double bass blast beatin all over the place like it's nothing 😂
They sound pretty good for an inexpensive kit. I'm assuming that the toms can be set up for a left-hander? Instead of left to right being high to low, right to left being high to low...
I Like E- Kits They Are Not As Loud As An Acoustic Set ,They Are Maintainsnce Free And For The Optional Dynamics , They're Alright In Price As Well...The Only Thing That I Dont Like About An E- Kit Is that The Rack Is Small , Not For Giants,Kinda Got To Improvise With It , OnThis Kit I Like The High- Hat With Stand , Pretty Cool; 66S Vid. aNd Kit !!!!!!
Today I learned I must have a decent kit as my electronic kit also has a separate Hi-hat stand... should set it up again after moving and play it more often again though
Is that Corporal Jigsore Quandry that I heard at the end? I know very little about drums. The sound of the bass drum in the first kit is how I prefer them.
looking to start playing drum for fun. (guitar & bass 30yrs) have PA equipment boards ect.. which is the best E-kit? would you recommend Drumeo app lessons? all this is just for my entertainment I have a amazing paying job that I would never quit. (11yrs till retirement) I just like music and the road of learning. just looking for advice on this avenue of music.
Would you recommmend this over the nitro mesh? Im just looking for something to write midi drums with. Im primarily a guitarist/keyboardist but i hate finger drumming and have been looking for a cheap kit to write simple drum ideas to.
Hey Samus, Great reviews as always, i was wondering if u could react to Drumble Gospel drummer hears Linkin Park for the first time, i think u would fully dig it!
I think for a kid learning it’s a good space saver for there bedroom practice and would be good an adult who is on a extremely tight budget this would get there foot in the door to the world of electronic drumming I do wonder if down the road they could swap the mod with a decent used model that would be a decent upgrade just as they slowly progress
Hi Samus, your videos are amazing. Thanks for that. Q: could you please compare this kit to Alesis Nitro Max? I am just about to order this or that. Thanks if you find a moment for me 🤟
samus for beginner drummers that are wanting to get better or if you just wanna have fun or practice try clone hero for drums its very good any ekit will work
Let me know what you guys want me to review next :)

Can you review the alesis strike pro drum set?
literally ANYTHING from ACD Unlimited 😍
Do you do marimbas?
I’m currently learning how to play drums and I really want a E-drum set but I’ve been practicing with chopsticks and pillows 😂
How about a video comparing all the electric drum sets you’ve reviewed, and selecting the best one for

Great idea
Great idea
I heard that Dream Theater!
Hola, don Ola!
Hola, don Ola!
You’re not the only one that did!
Hay ola aren’t you a friend of Stevie T?
Under a glass moon
I confess that I am using the last 500 kit you reviewed with $700 pedals.
I mean, good hardware is really important, so if you can make the investment, you should haha
If the electric kit came with amazing pedals then you wouldn’t have to…so your actions are justified 🫡😂
Im doing similar $600 ekit with $800 pedals😂
6:34 under a glass moon 🌙
6:34 was the EXACT beat I used in a song from my high school metal band. That was super nostalgic!
"Under a Glass Moon" by Dream Theater. ;)
@@madfinnishgamer38 At the time I wasn't big into Dream Theater and had no clue it had already been done.
For a second it sounded a little like almost easy by a7x
Daaaaaang! For the price, the features are pretty gnarly, that it comes with a proper hi-hat stand and all is amazing. Also, it never seizes to amaze me how much nicer the kits sound when you use VST Samples over the stock sounds.
*ceases to amaze you - not a troll, just someone whose brain doesn't shut off.

Whenever I use an 808 kit like you switched to at 7:00, I play the exact same beat. :)
The set up part sounded like I got teleported to an Rdavidr video.
REAL
Many thanks for your kind preparation!❤❤ Hope it can bring you a wonderful music experience!🎵🎵
thanks for my drum kit fesley! the chair and high tom mount were broken on arrival.

The practice songs atre adorable. 🥰

That was a fun video. Thank you again for existing. You are gonna love your fanart
Pretty funny too see you from the front, you look like a giant with that small kit 🤣
Amazing what you can do with a such simple kit

@@opoulis9599heh great catch. Someone is excited for Portnoy's return I guess
7:03 Hitting your best 2 Live Crew impression I see....

Wooow an Ekit for under $500 with a dedicated hi-hat stand? Noice 🤘🏻
That, a real kick pad and pedal, and the throne might make this one of the best e kits under $500 for beginners.
ohh yurrr playing all the dream theater today 😂❤
That little ditty he plays at 7:17 reminds me of that old school keyboard demo video where the Asian guy plays the drum sounds before saying “double bass” IYKYK
Yup, the Creative Keyboard demo guy.
Betwen the Alesis Nitro Max and this, which one did you like more?
You never fail man! Right on rock on!
I love these videos. Keep up the good work DRUMbledore!!!
The "real" hi-hat is pretty dope.
6:33 Domination by Pantera was immediately what I thought he was about to play. 🤣🤘
Wow! Learned a lot with this one. As usual, you smoked em! You make it look so easy I may have to get a kit!! Thanks! ✌🏼😎🤘🏼
You can honestly make any of these cheap kits sound good with a VST.
I think that´s one of his points too as to why he demonstrates it. I personally would like him to talk more about the feel of the pads though. I´ve personally always had issues with the feel of rubber pads for the pedal.
Again: thank you so much for the laughs!!
Often baffles me how far we've come with budget gear that now sounds pretty decent. Good times.
CYMBAL CATCH! GHOST NOTES! On a cheap kit?? No way...
take the time dream theater !❤
Great video , your my favourite youtuber of all time . I now say ohhhh yurrrr all the time and its awesome. Thank you , you give me so much joy
I love you
Ohhhhhhhh.yurrrer .love you Samus
That doesn't look too bad. I'm going to have to give that a look.

These cheap e kits with usb connectivity are such excellent value.
Not bad at all for a budget e-kit.
One thing I've noticed with most electronic kits is the hi hat only has an open and closed sound. No dynamics for how tightly closed.
The last cheap kit he did actually had three, open, closed and semi open which was cool.
You get real hi hat and rest are electronic drums :D
I was originally thinking of getting the Alesis nitro max, but after seeing this kit I changed my mind completely. Only a 50 dollar difference and it comes with a drum throne and a slightly better high had in my opinion. Not sure if this is a smart choice but I think this kit is exactly what I need.
You suprised me I was almost sure you were going to try a fart drum sample. Sound like a good little kit.
One thing that always annoys me about electronic kits is a lot of them seem to be designed for people who are 5'2" or shorter this one looks like it is mostly a reasonable size.
Yes Samus looks way too big for that drum set😅 lmao

It sounds pretty good
Yo that looks pretty damn good
It doesn't sound good to me, though.
I have a personal bias against electric kits, so that could be why.
Hi @66Samus, love your vids. I hope you can also review the Millenium MPS 850. I'd love to know your thoughts about it. Thanks!
I am tired of playing cheap shitty drums. Just get the Alesis lol
i'm still waiting to see our favourite Bahee to react to Sleep Token and II
Ahhh perfect for playing something from soats
lol when you started playing at 7:00 it reminded me of the band Lords of Acid-Pussy
You make it look easy
It f*cking kills me when you say ohh yurrrr 😂!! Especially after a long days work, and then you start double bass blast beatin all over the place like it's nothing 😂
i love these videos
That is a nice kit. OHH YUURRRR🤟🤟🔥🔥🔥🔥
So many of the sounds on this kit (at least two entire kits and the metronome) seem to be completely taken directly from the Donner DED-200 module
If there isn’t already a metal band called Intubation then there should be!!
We need longer videos, my bro.
These are the exact same sounds from the donnor ded200. The first donner kit Samus reviewed
YYZ cover on a huge version of this kit would be awesome
You gotta try the Millenium MPs 1000 it’s awesome
Lot´s of Dream Theater here. Me like!
I think someone is hyped for some new Portnoy
7:00 Fight Club - Single Serving Jack???? Nice kit
I would recommend getting the Millennium drum kit for $50 more. You get so much more for the money
I legitimately think you'd do great at comedy shows, just doing drum jokes
They sound pretty good for an inexpensive kit.
I'm assuming that the toms can be set up for a left-hander? Instead of left to right being high to low, right to left being high to low...
Funny.. I'm a lefty and was thinking the same!
7:02 That sounds like Changuich a la chichona by Mexican band Molotov.

Does that stool come with the smell built in? Did you smell it to make sure? You should do that quick..
Good for a beginner. I’m impressed that they give you everything.
Never did I think setting up drums would involve medical procedures. “Drum head intubation”😂😂😂
Is that Corporal Jigsore Quandry that I heard at the end?

I know those sounds. Ive used a Roland TD17 since 2020 and im pretty sure these fesley sounds are sampled from a Roland TD17
The first preset kinda sounds like the original ded200 from 2021
samus! can you do a review on the artesia pro legacy A250? if you can! im planning on getting the kit and havent really found a decent review on it.
That thing happening at @7:02 !!!

I love your silliness. But you can back it up with some craaaaay drumming. Not my style but I do learn from you. 🎉😂
Your hair and bad ass beard never cease to amaze me.
This kit+ezdrummer is not bad at all
You should cover Pneuma on that kit
They make drums now? I've only heard of them through guitar related channels. Another one of these Donner type cheap, online, instrument brands?
YEAAAAHHH!!!!!✌🏼✌✌✌
Oh yurrr
Can you do the Ddrum E-Flex 9 piece? I've been wanting it but skeptical there's like 0 videos on it
