I hated cole in these episodes, he was mean to paige and no one was believing her not even leo . It was frustrating. Cole’s character was a roller coaster ,one day i hated him later i sympathized with him .
The fact that none of them believed Paige though. Come on. After everything that they experienced. Surely Leo and Piper would have been suspicious. PRUE DEFINITELY would have sided with Paige 👑
Paige’s breakdown really moves me every time 🥺. I did like laser bolts, they’re like multiple hollow rings flying. This was a sign that Cole’s goodness was still there, resisting the source’s influence.
Cole's ''goodness''? He was never truly ''good'' to begin with. He always had a weakness for power and evil. Source did not ''possess'' him but only amplified what was already there
Cole disliked Paige way more than he did Prue, both saw through his facade and if she was still alive here she would've sided with her till the end And Rose nailed this scene too, a great mix of desperation and anger
Not true… Cole did like her, saved her life several times, even fighting through the source's influence to save her right before your very own eyes in this episode. The source saw Paige as a huge threat since she caught him red handed and was about to expose him. The Source had to make sure it doesn’t happen and underestimated Cole in the process who overpowered it due to his love for Phoebe. However the season 5 Cole was poorly written, they didn’t even know what to do with him anymore. Lazy exit strategy… did him dirty.
Rose once again showing us what a PHENOMENAL actress she is 👏🏻 I really do wish that Cole would have been pardoned. He was not willingly trying to destroy the charmed ones. Was always badly influenced. He deserved better ❤️
He was corrupted but not ''possessed'' by Source powers meaning that was all still HIS choice. Stop justifying, he was a toxic weak man. In season 5 he STILL wanted to kill them even though he was not a source anymore and he could control his new powers.
I just wanted to cry for Paige in this scene i know this was rhe source not Cole but i still feel bad for Paige and for what she went through in this episode also I Love Rose McGowan's acting in this episode along with many others i don't know why people say she's a bad actor because i think she's an amazing actor but that's just my opinion.
This episode is kind of weird, tbh... The reason the mortals are affected like that is because they're mortals. It's a surprisingly good continuity from season 2, mortals simply cannot handle having magical powers. But why did it affect Paige the same way? She's double-magical, she should be fine.
4:12 is one of my favorite scenes in all of Charmed. I admit that I'm not as big of a fan of Phoebe after they did Cole dirty but the way she was so worried Paige would die like Prue always got to me.
Dirty? Don't you understand that their relationship were rather toxic? Don't you see that him becoming to evil yet again and again was a metaphor for a weak man who can't fight his destructive tendencies? He was corrupted by source powers only because he was vulnerable to it, he always craved its power. Phoebe was also under influence of dark tonic and ''baby lucifer'' in s4 - yet she was strong enough to defeat it. Cole wasn't. In season 5 he lost to his dark tendencies again. In the end they were not compatible because sometimes passion and love is not enough when people are different and have different values.
@yevgeniyaleshchenko849 Yes, I can see it was toxic, which is why I've also always defended that they were better off separated. I'm just saying that Cole was a very well liked character and the archs given to him post "Charmed & Dangerous" didn't do the character justice in my opinion. Which is why I love that bit so much. It shows Phoebe not caring about herself necessarily but about someone else, especially in that second half of Season 4 when she was quite the Bridezilla. Cole may have been evil because of The Source, but Phoebe was blinded by love to the point that she couldn't even see or believe what her own sister was telling her.
you mean the sorce when phoebe sad not again cole look whas like he whas back and pushed the source away becuse his feelings his humanty is still there
The amount of people in the comments STILL justifying cole and shipping them... I mean, writers didn't do the best job with him but still it was clear it was not a story about his ''possession''. ? Him becoming to evil yet again and again was a metaphor for a weak man who can't fight his destructive tendencies. He was corrupted by source powers only because he was vulnerable to it, he always craved power of evil. He made his choice along the way. If you remember, Phoebe was also under influence of dark tonic and ''baby lucifer'' in s4 - yet she was strong enough to eventually defeat it. Cole wasn't because as Phoebe would later say that was not his nature to be just a person, a good person. In season 5 he lost to his dark tendencies again. Each time he became controlling stalker obsessed with Phoebe - that was HIS personality not ''source's'' or whatever. In the end they were not compatible because sometimes passion and love is not enough when people are different and have different values.
This is why Phoebe irritated me with her scenes with Cole or talking about him. She never believes Paige when she is telling her things aren't adding up with Cole, she got annoyed when Piper asked for help with Wiccan stuff and she was to busy with Cole and his made-up career, which she didn't see thru that. It's just the whole season with her and Cole irritated me so much.
People in the comments please look up the show again cause it’s explained that this isn’t really Cole. It’s the Source possessing Cole. The source is an essence that possesses demons and takes them over, merging with them to become combination where it is the one in control. That’s why the source is drawn to pheobe and wants her. Cause Cole wanted her and loved her. But the source is still in the drivers seat. So don’t hate Cole the character feel bad for him cause he’s a victim just as much as Paige is here
That's literal nonsense. It's just the sources powers, which can influence but never control a character. Cole was written as a sociopath with obsession with Phoebe, that ended up making him do a few good things. But each time he got powers he proved he was bad.
@ it’s literally explained in the show, the wiki and the creators. The source is Cole but it’s also not Cole. He was tricked into taking the sources essence when it went “into the void” and thus it merged with him. Remember he was fighting it for an entire episode and couldn’t. He didn’t just accept it. Cole is a victim here
@@jessedellross3245 This amazes me. We have a scene in, I think it was the three Phoebes, where Cole is fighting SourceCole inside himself. Even The SourceCole makes the occasional comment on having to be careful because Cole's love for Phoebe can cause problems. Cole wouldn't speak that way about himself, it makes no sense.
@ THANK YOU. Source Cole literally referred to human Cole in the 3rd person. It’s clear the source is controlling and possessing Cole. I don’t understand how people are blaming him
Thank you!!! You're absolutely right. I've seen it, and I have every single episode. But I hated how they did his character. They should've made it so the source was vanquished, and Cole was saved.
Phoebe's not gonna be happy about this of Paige accusing Cole of being a demon, and sooner or later in a couple of these days what it's about to show or not is that Phoebe is also not gonna be happy about killing Cole that she unfortunately didn't believe Paige while the song, Shine will play.
Not ppl trying to justify this character. The writer wrote him as an evil character, shortly being swayed from evil, here and there, due to his obsession with Phoebe. But he was never good. I don't know what's not clicking and why do you desire to change what someone else has written to fit the erotic/romantic fantasies in your head. Here he is, gaslighting in the most cruel way a person who is the reason he survived the second episode of this very season. He's *not possessed* by the Source, that's garbage. He is a Source, a demon with a set of inheritable powers that classify someone as a Source.
@@Rayon_Rayon Arguably he had the worst form of it. The Source of All Evil. Plus it is important to remember in the Wizard episode he does get enough control to try to get rid of it.......until Phoebe and The Seer put a stop to that.
