Would love a non budget build! Maybe also a pivot into building Hazezon? I believe Hazezon could be a really strong deck with all the additional Desert tech. Think I’ll end up with Hazezon as my commander for this deck! I have a non-Combo Gitrog monster deck that plays very similar to this, grinding out value with Fetch lands, playing them again from the GY and using Baloths & the Titania’s to make a Board Presence! It’s one of my favourite decks to play.
Love to see a non-budget build. Thinking of doing a proxy land destruction/recursion deck with references/photos from Dune centered around Land control: "He who controls the spice [lands] controls the universe [game]". Rock on!
Thanks for the vid! Was trying to push the precon in the same direction, now I found your video and am pretty impressed about your creativity and your card picks! Really enjoying your videos!
It was really fun playing the precon but I felt it needed a little more so I came to RUclips for some guidance for cards outside of the typical landfall staples and im glad I did because I forgot about a lot of cards mentioned here and elsewhere like nahiris lithoforming and phylath. And yes I'd love to see a non budget brew. Awesome work
since the moment i saw the cards in this deck i wanted to make a upgraded one and seriously i would be interested to do a non-budget upgrade! i would love to see what cards could fit in this deck to make many plant friend!
If you’re looking to maintain some thunder junction flavor, you could replace Ogre Battledriver with Cactusfolk Sureshot to get a similar haste effect!
I'm flabbergasted I own a Tribute to the World Tree I didnt know it spiked that hard in price. Adding it to my Yuma deck tight now PS. And I learned from greater good from the short. I'm amazed what great cards I own
Generally, you need to have more lands in a landfall deck though. Optimal strategy is to keep doing landfalls every turn so it is essential to draw into your lands often or until you draw cards similar to crucible of worlds. 37 land cards is too few for a landfall deck especially if you wont be running any mana rocks and you are playing cards with additional land drop like Azusa. That's too greedy even if assuming you have a free mulligan.
So i upgraded 3 cards for my deck its the vault born dinosaur from the big score Then scapeshift and my big Perferous and honestly it played really well but i will take those upgrades and hopefully make it even more consistent
I love my Hazezon deck too much to play a similar version of him, but, in my eyes, not as good. Lol, not to say that your deck tech and version of this isn't good or powerful. Would love to see you look at some more old commanders to do deck tecks on rather than so many of the new ones. I know I'm not a Patron, but would love to see your versiin of a Mageta, the Lion deck (I go vehicles so his ability doesn't wipe my side of the board), or a Ruhan of the Fomori deck, or possibly a Sek'kuar, Deathkeeper deck. As always, love what you do, so thanks for doing it.
this moxfield link only contains 81 cards. Where there some others that got left out by mistake? Great video I'm looking forward to putting this together
it is funny how this guy is so damn strong, i've been playing him some times with my fried,s and i can count on my fingers the number of times i summoned him for more than 4 or 5 mana
Hey, hope it's alright to ask this, but did you end up further modifying this deck since you released the video? I entered the deck in the comparison tool on Moxfield against the original precon and it looks like there were WAY more than 27 cuts. Unless I'm misinterpreting the tool, it looks like a total of 61 were cut, including some surprising ones like Sol Ring, Command Tower, and Dune Chanter. Thanks again for the great video!
My goal with the Precon upgrade videos is to give you guys a solid upgrade guide on a decent budget. The deck techs I do are completely separate. I start from scratch and build from the ground up without taking what’s in the Precon into consideration. I hope this helps 😁
@@decktechsfordecks Got it, thanks! And I only just noticed that the pre-con upgrade linked in the description only has 81 cards in it. Is that a mistake or are you leaving the other 19 up to us? Appreciate it!
I definitely need to convey how moxfield works better 😅 If you sort by tags there will be 3 tags cuts, adds, and untagged lands. You swap out the cuts for the adds and the deck will be upgraded! 😁 I just wanted to list every desert for new players that don’t know how scryfall works so they know all the options the deck has. I hope this helps! 😁
Yuma isn’t bad but i would say Hazezon is better. Having that ability to play lands from graveyard in the command zone is much more valuable than token generation. We have titania and omnath for this :)
This was the precon I was looking forward to the most from this set. Please do a non-budget build. Absolutely!
Was waiting for this one! Normally not a fan of playing lands strats, but yuma has this weird flexibility that drew me in.
would love to see a non-budget version!

Some great ideas I hadn't considered yet for my build! Surprised to not see either crucible or conduit of worlds make your cut

Definitely keen on your take of a non-budget full build of this commander
What ones did you remove??? Let's see the non budget version.

Phylath etb only triggers only basic lands, but the Landfall ability still makes it worth it for this deck imo.
Would love to see your take on a non-budget build around!~

Already made my own non-budget version. I’m curious to see yours.
I'd love a non budget deck tech, or even better, a reworked Hazezon, Shaper of Sands deck tech ✌️
I love my Hazezon deck too much to play a similar version of him, but, in my eyes, not as good. Lol, not to say that your deck tech and version of this isn't good or powerful.

Feels a bit like a windgrace deck! Nice
If love to see which cards you removed to make room for these.
Would love to see the non budget version!

I would like a non-budget version of this deck. I would like hazezon as commander and this guy in the 99 :)
I've tried to follow the guide and the moxfield link but I am -so- confused :( - Looks fun. Does anyone have the list built out that i could nab?
Sort by tags and you will see the adds and the cuts.
I want to see a full power of this deck with Wakeroot Elemental and Growing Rites of Itlimoc // Itlimoc, Cradle of the Sun or Castle Garenbrig
A non budget version is my Christmas wish
Hi man. This is my first deck ok Magic. Please can you also tell which card you pull out? Thanks in advance
They are in the moxfield link. If you sort by tags it’ll give you the cards I cut and added 😁
@@decktechsfordecks great thanks
Can't find the list of cut and add in clicking the link I find a 84 card list where there are all rhe cards you put in the video.
Can’t believe no lotus cobra or Nissa
They weren’t in the budget 😢
Do you have an actual list of what you decided to keep and what you took out from the precon?
If you sort the modified link by tags you’ll see what I cut 😁
it is funny how this guy is so damn strong, i've been playing him some times with my fried,s and i can count on my fingers the number of times i summoned him for more than 4 or 5 mana

@@decktechsfordecks This makes WAY more sense. Thank you!!!
You do the thing but there isn't really much removal synergizing with the commander. Especially countering grave hate
Show us that nine budget one!!!
def want a non-budget upgrade
Where are the cuts ?
I dont see the cuts in the moxfield link. Only the final deck.
You can expand the „history“, so you can see what he cuts and what he implemented instead :) it’s a around the „considering“ part
Sort by tags and you will see the adds and cuts list.
Let’s see that non budget upgrade please!
I'd like to see the non-budget build

Let’s get the non budget video !!
Skeptical about phylath , you really need to have a bunch of basics out to make his etb worth it
We want that land fall trigger 😉 4 counters every land becomes lethal super fast
8/9 with two landfalls with phylath
Newsom's not here, now we can comment. Lol
😂
Decklistit?
coool
Non-budget please and thank you
Non budget, hopefully soon
Lets go non budget!!
Give us the non budget!
Let the non budget upgrade lose 😎
👍👍👍👍1
Non budget plz !!!
Please non budget option! 😊
Non budget upgrade!
I love you.
