- Zhang knew that when it comes to teaching, the conventional way was for the instructor to stand on the podium and force-feeding facts to students with a 40~50 minute lecture. However, learning should be self-motivated and interesting for both teachers and students. Since then, Zhang began his mission to change this teaching style based on pure rote memorization, by allocating most of the classroom time for students to “Learn, Consider, Communicate”. In this talk, Zhang shares his “Flipping Chinese” observations and starting to create a new education revolution in Taiwan.
Huicheng Zhang is a Chinese literature teacher at Taipei's Zhongshan Girls' High School who has redefined how literature should be taught in Taiwan. As the force behind "Flipping Chinese" pedagogy, his methodology of encouraging students to "learn, consider, and communicate" is a bottoms-up approach where most of the time is reserved for students to engage in self-guided learning, in-depth analysis and discussions. Zhang also regularly shares his findings online, as a way to exchange ideas with other teachers and educators on what works (and doesn't). So far his flipped learning concept has attracted more than four hundred teachers from all over Taiwan to come as observers to his classroom.

我們須要支持學思達或是翻轉教學,不會的同學會干擾會的同學,後果很不好。
那個 實用性來說的話 希望講師可以對老師進行講述 而不只對學生講述 這是個很大的問題 還有因為是流亡的關係 所以就憑這樣一個講師的理想 是不能改變時局的 我並不認為 讓7成 陪3成的人去考一間很好的大學是件好事

老師可以試著反思,自己對於教學上進度的理解,是今天你的課堂教完你所計畫的章節進度,還是學生真正能夠吸收理解的章節進度?除了一塵不變、了無心意的教學環境與模式,漸漸的只會消耗掉學生對學習的興趣與老師對教育的初衷。

This is the same philosophy as what the Canadian educational philosophy is trying to get to. The problem I see from this model is the same as what's currently being experienced by many students from west coast canada - students generally don't care about learning because the school system is either slower than the fast learners' capabilities or the 'institutionalized atmosphere' of education systems, in general, becoming too intimidating towards lower learners.

整個台灣中部以南這麼大塊的面積,超過半數都停在"古板"、"填鴨"、"強制將學生丟入題海"
與影片中根本完全符合
為甚麼呢?很簡單
都會區 VS 中、南部 = 資源豐富 VS 資源不足
中南部為了能追在都會區的後方
填鴨以趕上都會區→分數高但沒有思考能力→與都會區差距日益增大→學生需吸收更密更大量的知識來追上都會區→時間不足→師長渴求學生以最短時間吸收最大量知識(填鴨) →→→無限循環
目前 影片中講者的建議方式,老實說在中南部只有「縣的前幾志願」的班級才有落實,
要是能普及,這亦有助於均衡區域落差&創造更多台灣人才

+ice chen 我離開學校也很久,而這位講者大部份敘述的內容跟我還在學校時的學習狀態還蠻貼近的,所以我認同大部分他說的內容。不曉得能不能跟您請教「現在的情況」?

因此只有前幾志願的班級才有能力落實?
