- Today is the 1st of October, first day of the EXPO 2020 DUBAI, and we are in!
Come see what the first day in the Expo 2020 Dubai looks like!
Expo 2020 is a World Expo 2020 Dubai currently hosted by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, originally scheduled for 20 October 2020 - 10 April 2021. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Arab Emirates, the new dates are 1 October 2021 - 31 March 2022.
The expo 2020 Dubai will have a theme called "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future". The expo will also have three subthemes: opportunity, mobility and sustainability, each with its own pavilion. The Opportunity pavilion is designed by AGi Architects, Mobility by Foster and Partners, and Sustainability by Grimshaw Architects.
In 2021 it was announced that the three thematic pavilions would open for a limited time before the full opening of the expo. The Sustainability Pavilion Terra opened on 22 January 2021 until 10 April 2021.
I would advise you to come and see the Expo 2020 Dubai UAE, get a full season pass and come as many times as you can, see as many pavilions as you want. The Expo 2020 Dubai is a place to add to you list of things to do in Dubai.

There is a wide variety of hotel in dubai for all taste and wallets. Anywhere you stay remember that it was added a new metro station for the EXPO 2020. So if you’re close to any metro station, you will be just a few minutes away from the expo as the metro stops there. Otherwise they have the EXPO RIDER which goes around dubai picking up people.

recommend coming in winter, it be much nicer in December and January is the coldest which is around 25-14 c which is like spring in most countries . it start to cool down around mid November till end of February it start to warm again.
I totally agree with you, with the heat is not easy to walk around. Once it gets cooler you can enjoy all day long there and would be more fun. But remember winter there will probably be more crowds.

10am to 10pm except weekends. If you use the whole day maybe you can do it in a week. The expo is very big!

Thank you! You can take any hotel you like, there are many easy ways to get to the expo. From anywhere in dubai you can easily get to the expo.

We as humans in this planet have many things we have to improve. But we also have some things we should be proud of, and this is one of them. Having all the countries together in one place.
Hey Pedro, how is the situation with the parking? :)
I was worried with the parking but it’s actually VERY well done. As you get to the expo the highways are large and tell you in advance which parking are full and direct you straight away to the empty one so you don’t have do wait. The buses from the parking to the expo take around 2 min drive and they come every 5 min. Very well done.
Amazing feedback! How many pavilions can you visit in one day?
It depends on how much detail you want to see… in one full day you can see all of them from the outside if you don’t stop walking. If you want to enter all I would say 15 palvilions per day. I have done about 35 pavilions in 2 days, but I didn’t stay long inside, it’s was very, very quick visits.

Hi, I will be with my 7y son and will can only be there from 11am to 8pm during the day so can you pls suggest must visit pavilions during this 9 hours?
I haven’t see all the palvilions but I would say to see the main pavilions of each area and then check the pavilions of countries that look nice to you. Soon soon I will have a video of the pavilions.

A suggestion for your video. Do check the Alif pavillion which is the the Hero Pavilion in Mobility Zone.
As an Expo Heart it is Mind Blowing....

I asked that question, and yes, you’re allowed for a quick snap. Apart from that, and also eating and drinking, we have to keep the masks on at all times.

Your video gives us a good idea of the Expo. Not very much people on the site for the first week-end. After all ,they espect only 25 millions of visitors.
Yes, not much people. I think that it will be more during winter time.
At Expo 67 in Montréal , we had 51 millions of visitors. The first week-end, they need to close the metro station, too much people were going to Expo. For your info: The expo passport was invented at Expo 67 and also the word "Expo" coming from the french word " exposition " ( exhibition in English ). I will continue to see your good video.

@@pedrotravels For us here , it did put the Québec on the map. I was a teenager, younger than you are and I really loved it. After I went to Expo 88 in Brisbane Australia and Expo 92 Sevilla Spain. Since Expo 92 we see more multimedia in pavillions and less exibits and now more film on walls. But the first week-end is very important for the crowd to be able to tell if it will work for the next 6 months. Good luck.
Requirement in the entrance? Do you need al hosn app with Green QRCode? I am visitor and wanted to go there from Abu Dhabi
You need proof of vaccination, Al Hosn app is good, and your ticket. Have both of them ready when you come in, they will ask you first for the vaccination.
