Theory: Ok so I kinda put all the clues we have together. This isn't canon it's just a theory. The black-haired boy seems to live alone or no one was at the house at the time but we didn't really see any people in the house when the dream took place. And why would he have the dream if he wasn't lonely in the first place? In the dream we see him drowning which is I'm assuming a metaphor for him being so lonely. In the dream, we can see the other boy bumping into him trying to catch some sort of letter. He may just be at a younger age but guessing that no one was in the house I'm assuming it was he is old enough to at least stay in an apartment so I'm kinda thinking he was a kid in the dream. He probably dreamt the whole thing cause of his depression and loneliness. In the end, it was probably just his brain trying to cope with the fact that no one was there for him, or at least not anymore. There are still a few more questions without answers like maybe this was a boy he met in the past but just forgot over time. Maybe it was just his brain trying to remind him that at one point someone was there for him. maybe I'm thinking a little too much into this but please let me know what you think about this theory. The creator will probably uncover the story and I'm probably wrong.

I think that boy then helps him up, says sorry, introduces himself, and then they become friends. A few weeks later (still in the dream) they’ve become pretty good friends and then the boy asks “we’ll always stay together, right?”. Then the black haired boy says “sure...” in like, an unsure or hesitant way. But then, he wakes up and starts crying because it was only a dream. That’s when you KNOW he’s lonely. Then, when he walks to the kitchen, he starts coughing up blood. I then think that he has some sort of sickness or disease, cause if you think about it, when he said “sure...” to his friend in his dream. It was like an unsure answer. Meaning he might NOT be there forever. So, I think he has a sickness that’s going to end his life soon. And that’s my theory, sorry if you couldn’t understand it. Reply to me about what you think of my theory.

He had a best friend who had a sickness that could kill him. one day one he died from the sickness and the oc cried for month because that's all he had after his parents died from a stereotypical gacha car crash. ma theory: (it is JUST a theory) the boy in this video is in a depressed state in his life. He probably dreams about meeting people time to time since he really has no one there for him at that time. That boy he sees in his dream was chasing some sort of letter. It isn’t often someone is chasing a letter in the air, usually it’s like for example a leaf or paper airplane. I think on that paper is somehow like a story of how that black haired boy’s life would’ve gone if something in his life went another way. He probably lost everyone around him physically or just mentally and fell into a state of depression and loneliness. In the beginning it looked like he lived alone in a house or a building. When he fell into the ocean, I think he was already thinking about a darker way of getting rid of his depression. But after that part it then shows the blonde haired boy running into him. I think it’s telling him like how he still has a way of getting out of that lonely state and there is still hope. Death isn’t the only way. But in the end, a dream always ends. When he woke up, all those “nobody’s here anyways in the end” thoughts rushed back which made him commit. (it’s just a theory don’t attack me ;-;)
