Every time I watch one of these lessons I learn something really really useful! have been struggling to get arpeggios stuck in my brain the last few weeks, excellent lesson
great video :) i always click on the videos thinking that i already know what you're going to teach me, but you prove me wrong each week :) keep up the great work!
Absolutely awesome! Im a student to your academy Scott, but as im starting to progress more and this popped up on my news feeds lol, so i ll be giving thos a whirl tomorrow, thanks for the worksheet also haha, will update my progress so far x
Stumbled on this old video of Scott (still looking very fresh over here dude :)), but it's a great lick and a very good exercise. Had to turn down the BPM very drastically on my metronome to play it in time though. Practice practice practice
I'm sure this guy covers this somewhere as all good music teachers do but all of this means nothing if you don't have the feel to back it up...the right hand is so important with feel on bass that it can't be overstated...a good bass player could play this groove without a problem....a great bass player can play this groove and bring the booty without breaking a sweat...learn what to emphasize, learn how to make it talk and remember that bass is a percussive instrument as well
manifestgtr Your argument is very subjective, people are better or worse at different things. Someone with a good sense of groove may lack a sense of tonality.
Did you know that if you eat a Malteaser & red m&m while playing a G flat major scale, you actually open up a portal to a parallel dimension where bass greatness awaits? You can all thank me later. Class dismissed . .
Scott you are a big help man greetings from Peru!!!
EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!!! Thank you good sir :)
My bass teacher just couldn't explain it the way you could.

Focal Dystonia . . . Google it or find a RUclips vid.
Some nervous system thing, playing bass with his hand naked hurts or something. Somebody asks that on every video.
Lol good times by chic
Glove affects tone . . .
Scott can't hold your hand AND wear the glove, eh?
Scott, I'm not gay, but I'd totally kiss you
