You have no idea how much I appreciate RUclipsrs like you filming large shows like this... lol I'm a serious rockhound with an appetite much bigger than my wallet so for now Tuson is just a pipedream.... at least I can live vicariously through you guys! Yay! And thank you.

Jessica Lippy it’s totally my pleasure I appreciate your appreciation thank you so much in my next set of videos I will be showing off the TCC which is the biggest baddest gem show open to the public in the entire world I’ve watched a lot of other RUclipsrs do this year’s TCC and they did it very nicely where I was asked to leave particular booths like a dozen times LOL

@@lapidarydave I don't understand people asking you to leave. It's free advertising for them. And AMAZING eye candy for us. I love this video. Now I must wipe the drool off of my phone! 😆😆😆👍❤

@@jessicadavenport2808 what it comes down to is either it’s really overpriced and since I can’t be there to make it look good my uneducated video ““ hurt their business another option is that it’s an ethically mind and I want people knowing they have their own where they got it in the third reason it’s illegal or hot which happens a lot believe it or not I’m in gem world Even at larger shows when it comes to this vendor they were really cool to let me film which is super rare when it comes to hire and stuff like this especially specimens

@@lapidarydave Oh yeah, I tend to forget about the shady side of the business. And some of the elitist snobs.
I have been very fortunate to deal with wonderful people. The few I encounter that suck, well, I try to forget they exist. LOL!
I guess it worked, temporarily. Thanks for the reminder. 😆 Even the videos you put out are full of really nice people.
Thank you so much for all the awesome information in your vids.

Oh man! This is a perfect opportunity to roll out my favorite ever quote from a RUclips video! Once years ago I watched a video on crystal growing, which sadly I’ve never been able to find again. It was hosted by a guy with a great Eastern European accent, and at the end of the video as he was about to reveal what he’d grown, he said “I inwite you to obsaerve my impraysive creestal!” I’ve basically had that line in that guy’s wonderful accent running through my head for this entire video 😁

Samantha Jenkins Very cool I have inherited one of my grandmothers vintage alexandrite rings her husband but the red rocks while in Egypt so the stones traveled very far to get to Egypt her husband then have them faceted and put inside of a rose gold ring it is one of my most prized possessions

Would you consider doing a live buy walk through next year? Taking people to cheaper dealers and purchasing for them? I have tried contacting vendors you showcased via email and non of them reply. I guess they are more hammer and chisel and less mouse and keyboard type people if you get my drift. I would be prepared to send you cash via paypal to purchase on my behalf and ship to me.

Lyle Pascoe I could do that for you this year but I don’t know how I could make it worth my while a percentage should not be worth it while purchasing for most people like if I change 10-20% of what I was picking up for people and they only spend 10$ I’d make 1-2$ for hours of work
I was thinking about maybe a flat fee of maybe like 50$ or something would make it worth while

@@lapidarydave Hey, cool you play guitar, iv been learning the last 4 months by teaching my self, basicly all i do is pick singular notes, i think its called flat picking like you mentioned once. I only say this because i randomly watch alot of ur videos with no experience or knowledge of any of this stuff and i thought it was interesting that you mentioned some thing about flat picking at a event or some thing. Do think this lapidary stuff looks like a very cool thing to be in to, so many nice looking stones!!!!!.
