    I feel when you wheelie the 390 its a very easy control of the throttle such a perfect beginners bike 🔥🔥

      That's right actually.
      It's the good thing with the lower cc bikes, they're not all too agressive!

    I have my full licence but keep watching your videos and thinking of buying a duke 390, currently own a GSR600 but I find the 600-1000cc heavy, dull and boring. Sure they're fast but that's all they are! My best times have been on smaller CC's!

    Very nice Tutorial, helped me out a lot already. But i'm asking myself now...how harmful is this learning process for the bike? Did you do all you ~6000 Wheelies on your 390 Duke?

    • @BRAAAPP
      @BRAAAPP  2 года назад +6

      yes, all on that duke.
      Wheelies are not harmful at all for the bike in generall as long as you get them down smoothly. Your Chain get's older a bit faster and your fork sealings might get damaged, if you don't get it down smoothly a lot.
      But if you learn slow and stady and do that step by step you'll be fine!

    I'm struggling so hard I feel like there's no power to lift it. So is it first gear stay in low rev ranges, then clutch in all the way, then rev up hard, then basically dumb the clutch?

    • @beyondthehorizon1154
      @beyondthehorizon1154 Год назад +3

      Yes… but don’t redline the rev range. And smooth clutch release “quick but smooth” and give smooth throttle input not jerky!
      First try popping front wheel up. Then when you find that sweet spot start trying to keep the wheel up.

    Did you have to do anything with abs fuses or sensors/wires before you could wheelie that bike reliably? I'd say 20% of the times I try to wheelie my 2021 KTM Duke, I instantly lose all power and the bike stalls. Almost mouse trapping me. Then the bike show's a code for ECU Failure everytime that happens. So I have to swap the 10A ECU fuse (same fuse as ABS Control Unit) with a knew one to get the bike running again.

    Have you had any issues with the bike stalling in the wheelie?? I see some people who have this issue, they think it’s a fuel issue when when they are in a wheelie the fuel pump isn’t getting fuel

    • @BRAAAPP
      @BRAAAPP  6 месяцев назад

      People with such issues mostly don‘t do the technique right. But my bike is optimised as well so I have a good chunk of more torque but that alone doesn’t cut it. The stock duke works as well for me

      Because the risk of tipping over in 2. is very high, cuz the bike does not come up easely. But when it does and is quite high, you will be on a high throttle setting and will tip over very easely!
