Words cannot begin to describe how astoundingly fantastical this place is! The stairs give the mystery factor and that beach is just perfect for a moment of peace. The room itself…just wow! However, I would never want to leave the bath…the water, the views, the sound of the ocean, and a night sky of stars? Heavenly bliss. So glad you got to have this experience.

It's crazy, every time you make a video it feels like I am reliving my memories. It started with when you were at the mononoke forese tin shinshu and the underground shop stalls of akihabara. I grew up on a very small Island in the Setonaikai on the Ehime side so the view from the beach just felt so nostalgic. The town I grew up in is now gone since it's now part of Matsuyama city but every time I see a view of the Setonaikai from Kagawa and Ehime it makes me feel so happy.
It seems like forever since I’ve actually been able to watch and comment on a video! Almost done with my masters, and this was a wonderful mental break from all of that. Thank you for an amazing trip yet again! Take care!

Wow, gorgeous place! We are making our first trip south to Kyushu this month, decided to skip Shikouku this time, but now you've given us a whole bunch of reason to plan that island next. 10/10 would stay here and might start planning now. :)
Very comfortable & spacious private Onsen Ryokan! Love the big office desk for doing work on laptops, etc. If I ever wanted to stay here, I may have to be out here for more than 3 days to make the trip worth the bucks. And I may have to bring along family members or loved ones as well... I personally don't think I will put up at this place alone though - too big for 1 person. Just my opinion. Overall, the "360° virtual tour" was meticulously well-covered & superbly well- narrated. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it to the last second...
Between the view and that wonderful space, it's like you've been promoted from peasant to daimyo. 😁 I'm imagining the glorious scent of the wood inside must make that such a pleasant place to stay. When you were first going down to the beach, I was wondering why one face of all the stones was painted yellow - unti lI realized that was the sun and was stunned by how beautiful it was.
I think the rental is spectacular , outstanding renovation and decorated. Very well appointed. It has everything you need and more. Incredible views, what a beautiful baths. I love the sauna. The entrance is very stylish. Can you please explain the reasoning behind the banners hanging. I always thought they were just signage but on a rental maybe its for bugs? I love your exploring video.
Those stairs are a crazy erector set. I would definitely be all hands in use onto climbing and descending that staircase from a nightmare. Beautiful views, beach and home.
around 24:00 when you started moving the projector around and noticed it was protable(without plugged in). I went "by the power of grayskull... I. Have. The. Power." Which got a chuckle out of me... but then I realized how old He-Man is... great video none the less
Those construction stairs crack me up, but I totally ate s**t in a construction area in Morioka trying to grab onto a railing that didn't really exist. I did find out that my new Apple watch would try to call 911 if I fell, but calling 911 in Japan wouldn't do much constructive (especially since it's 119 there). Beautiful looking facility.

The sauna stove in the sauna is made by a Finnish comppany HARVIA. And I am living in Kirkkonummi, Finland :)

This by far is one of the best places in japan to stay in for a RnR, hopefully it wont cost an arm and a leg to stay there.
An absolutely beautiful place, but I doubt I would survive the stairs. Which seems to be a running theme with beautiful places in Japan :P
