- For this vlog Colin joins us and we talk about the crazy hype going for the Yeezy 350 V2 Hyperspace. It's kinda puzzling because we were anticipating it that it wouldn't sell well and it would sit on shelves like what happened with the Static and the Creams. Boy were we wrong. The lines for the Yeezy 350 Hyperspace were insane here in the Philippines.

We were also surprised, but we guess it’s because of the more subtle color way. Malaysia and Singapore its the same. People were camping to get the Hyperspace.
I was able to win the True Form from a raffle in the EU. Now we wait til March 30th until the Clay releases here in the US. I think all 3 are profitable due to the exclusivity.

A clean and fresh pair of hyperspace is the reason of its hype. Another is its simplicity and a silent beauty of the color combination.
I copped one personal pair in bgc. I waited 10 hours to get mine and it’s worth it. It looks much better in person than pictures.
These got released on Yeezy day in the US and I got a pair as they caught my attention! This is the first pair of yeezy I got, so im hyped.
The yeezy boost 350 hyperspace is actually hyped because before the release date in some sneaker groups, there were already a lot of people wanting to get their hands on this model. My hypothesis is that the resellers got the idea that they earn a lot if they will be able to get a bunch of pairs not only locally but also worldwide because it’s a regional exclusive.
Didn’t really expect these to be so hype either 😪 lines were crazy over at BGC, luckily I was still blessed to be able to cop a pair online 🤘🏼

I think because hyperspace is the safest colorway of the 3 yeezy. Easy to wear easy to rock easy to flex. And Its really a good colorway.

For me, the Hyperspace is hyped in PH because:
1) The colorway exclusive to Africa & Asia is relatively a hyped colorway among the three(at least here in PH). Cream, beige, and other lighter hues in the color spectrum are currently hyped colorways here in PH simply because it’s versatile, clean, and basic. Most people are influenced by minimalistic, hipster fashion so I think the colorway exclusively offered here appeals to many.
2) More people have discovered the power of owning a Yeezy. Simply put, “bandwagoning” on the hype and profit it could offer. As you mentioned, some people “buy, flex, and resell.” Some people earn more from reselling this, I mean, we’re a Third World country, thus it is not anymore strange for people to find and grab opportunities to gain profit not only for one’s self but for his / her own family.
3) Lastly, the Yeezy branding is the most popular and hyped Adidas line thus when the Hyperspace came out, it was overly hyped here in PH.
This seems like an essay but I just wanted to share my thoughts 🤷🏻♂️😅😂✌🏼

The main contributor of its "hypeness" is mainly because it is a YEEZY. And it's as if that is not enough, it was released regionally exclusive. That explains as I see it.
perhaps most people like it because the pattern on hyperspace is so subtle (not like static) and the most 'neutral' colorway out of 3
True Form is like a better Beluga and Clay is like an inverted True Form. Hyperspace is the only one of the set that feels most unique.

Adidas made a wise strategy like creating a Region Exclusive, which means "limited" that's why it attracted alot of pinoys. Then most of the resellers go to stock X as a basis for the pricing and since they saw the value is twice as high, why not gamble on it.
Missed out in Adidas Au where some of my devices got blocked... missed out in Adidas Ph... Were sitting in Adidas Japan but they were at 18000 pesos when you get a reship... Can't check out properly with YeezySupply Asia using the desktop... BUT was able to cop one through Yeezysupply using mobile. It's actually clean and easy to wear.
Because of its exclusivity (plus the idea that you can sell it higher $$$ since its exclusive in Asia) and its colorway makes it easier to wear. 🔥

I believe the hyperspace has so much hype simply because it's an exclusive release sneaker which is part of a set. A lot of collectors will be doing their best to cop all 3 color ways to complete the set apart from the yeezy lovers who buy every release and the casual heads. All these factors has caused the serious demand for the shoe.
I think it's hype because the colorway itself, some people are already bored of the creams colorway so the hyperspace is the alternative colorway plus it's subtle fire.
It's not because of this particular colorway, but because of this release overall... People get the idea behind this regional release, thus it makes these 3 pairs somewhat more valuable, than your typical yeezy 350 release. If Asia had TFRMs or Clays the lines would be the same. If only you could see the lines near our Russian concept stores on the day of the release... Something similar hasn't happend for a while....

totally agree with u, guys. Adidas made it limited per region to push the price up for resellers and to create some buzz. I think the delay of their best version, is for us to have a better chance of getting the 2 out of 3 Yeezys.😝 More power to the both of u.

It is hyped up because of the region-exlcusive release which would relate to possible resell profit for the other Colorway trade off,
Especially w the Clay ColorWay :) plus the clean colorway it has :)

Hey, just a quick thought to which you overlooked.
The clays were delayed a about a week before launch. The limited time frame and sudden change in date creates an environment of confusion and out of anxiety people start searching for solid confirmation which can explain the inflated numbers.
I can tell you, for fact, that a lot of sneakerheads in Toronto arent feeling the clays. General consensus is that Hyperspace > Trueform >>>> Clays
Even tho I personally enjoy the Clays
Lots of North Americans using bots on Asian region websites since our launch was canceled.
MY THEORY:
You already answered it; black and white are easy and timeless, mature. You can match with the entire colour spectrum rather than being limited by your first choice.

Among the three hyperspace is the cleanest (good to eye) and its easy to partner it on any jeans.

Basically its hyped here because of the reselling price of yeezy’s here in the Philippines.
Since it’s limited per region the hype is bigger then the other releases
it's not about the colorway, it's because of its futuristic name hyperspace
It was the same here in Malaysia. But I managed to cop a pair for myself, but 1 size up from my regular size
If I be getting one of the three I may get the white one. Just to rock it you want it bitter up most the white one will be amazingly dirty that makes it more cool. Like the white converse or the classic white tretorn shoes of the 90’s the more it looks dirty the the cooler it get. Hope you do some review in the classic sneaker like the tretorn. I think the hype is because Yeezy already has a fan base to begin with. Then you add the facts that this series of Yeezys is limited + not so accessible to just anyone, then that hype will go up. Law of supply and demand kumbaga

For me, it's because it is exclusive here in asia, and its colorway.
Truth been told true form and this is both rather hype
1. The stock amount is surprisingly small
2. It's regional
Hyperspace is a bit more hype because it is the Asian exclusive; European is less into yeezys IMO
It's actually a nice cw and versatile. I like all 3 honestly even though ppl are tired of the yeezy

I tried getting the hyperspace through adidas website at 10AM. Exactly 10AM the website slowed down and after 10 mins it says the shoes are already sold out! This is in UAE btw lol

It nice to see the Yeezy boost V2 350 hyperspace. It is limited edition. I will rather buy the cheapest legit Adidas Yeezy boost sneaker that my money can afford. For me it doesn't matter as long as you are satisfied, happy and feel comfortable while wearing it. It will not affect your daily life if you cannot buy the Yeezy shoes that you want unless you are a serious collector or have a passion for it. That is only my personal opionion and belief.😂🤣😅😆😉😋😊😎

This was my first yeezy drop and I got it straight from the adidas website, it sold out in like 10 minutes.
Imho - hyped mostly because of resellers and supposed exclusivity. Not sold on the mint green shade this has - again my feeling is most got this to resale to get the pair of Yeezys they’re looking for the “TrueForm”.
Actually i coped it at bhs since im a wide footer they gave me a chance to get it at size 12.5 which was the only avail size at line 526

I believe the Hyperspace became so hyped because people would like to see it in person. Seeing it in photos does not justify its colorway, ergo they want to buy it to see it for themselves. It was said it looks mint green but for me, it looks like a light tone of sesame and cream with a static vibe to it. Too bad I took an L for waiting 2 hours via online release haha. Looking forward to future Yeezy 350 releases.

It's sorta like Pokemon. Having regional exclusives will make collecting all the colorways demand more effort. Those outside Asia/Africa seem to want this cw more than us. Since international demand is quite high, it quite expensive to procure this from international-based markets like StockX or Goat, also driving the resale price of the Hyperspaces up here locally. I honestly think that exclusives like this will help revive the hype of the Yeezys especially if they really plan on releasing a multitude of new colorways this year.
tldr; My hypothesis is that international demand is correlated to local demand. People generally find more satisfaction in having something not everyone can have. Regional exclusivity is the culprit.
