Feed The Strays . Hi , I dont know where I came from . All I know is I woke up with my eyes closed . There were four other ones just like me , . We all huddled into a warm furry body to eat and get comfort . I now know we were huddling up to our MOM and the “ other ones “ were my siblings . At first I felt content . There were loud sounds and ,sometimes I felt wet but I seemed safe as my mom had us all in a place that was hidden away from the unknown . We had warm milk and MOM cleaned us a lot . It felt wonderful when she licked us . Mom would leave us sometimes and but not for long . I now know she went to look for food . Our eyes opened soon after we were born and I saw that we lived under an old house near some bushes This was our home . .Mom fed us and we played together and learned about our claws and how to defend ourselves .. We loved scratching the old boards and hiding in the bushes . That was so much fun. When we grew a little bigger and were a little older she took all of us from under the old house to teach us about survival . . She said we must learn to hunt for food because there was no food to be had where we lived . She told us when she was born someone left her under a bush and she had to learn how to survive . She said there were some places where food was left by kind Humans . She explained what humans were but said to be aware not all humans were kind to us . That’s when she told us we were kittens and would grow into cats . We would go to look for food near the garbage bins , sometimes we would find a little , sometimes we would catch a mouse . But most of the time we were hungry and now frighten of the new world out there and frankly being hungry all the time . Mom said that we must move to find a place were the kind humans left food for strays . She heard about this from other stays . So we went looking . It took some looking ,for sure but eventually we found another house near a small store . We took turns sitting by the store and we would meow for food . , We were always hungry . My tummy was always growling . The store turned out to be a wonderful place for us because humans would see us and leave food for us . They called it “kitty “ food . We loved it and we weren’t so hungry all the time . At first the food left was only now and then but then the humans started leaving food everyday for us . This was so wonderful. We knew the sound of their cars when they came and we would run out to meet them . They tried to pet us ,at first we would run from them but then we began to let them pet us . They spoke in soft sounds and gave us names .and they call us their Babies . We love hearing their voices . We have human moms and dads . I was called Suza , my brother was called fluffernutter and my two sisters were adopted by some nice humans , and my other brother was killed . Mom said someone poisoned him . And the other good news is that the humans in the house also leave food for us . We made a lot of friends , There was the “little Old Man “ cat , the twins who were both all black except for a small white patch on one of them , there was baby calico , there was gray Ghost and sometimes a new cat would show up for food . None of us have a real home but we are very thankful to those who feed us . It would be very hard to survive without their help . Ty for feeding us . Please always remember to feed a stay . We just want to help, maybe some of you have wanted these cats to die of starvation. We only have rice and chicken to give to these cats. There are millions of wild cats that are starving and homeless in my country. And this little cat we found in the gutter. I think what we're doing is useful enough than not doing anything. Thanks !!!

I believe there was something other than just rice mixed in, otherwise the kitten would not have likely eaten it. Maybe it had some chicken or pork mixed in?
This is not America. For example in my country many people eat meat once a year on a special feast, and still they have to borrow money to buy it. Meat is a luxury food.

Yet, if Indonesia buddies can only render rice (in relatively cheaper price than fish ie. quality protein for cats & kitten), we are so sorry for the situation then. I hv to say... suppose the cats & kitten won't live long; no offense to say. Sigh!
Sad. Too late now as it's been almost 2 years but hope she was tested for FELV & FIV before being allowed near the other cats. I have a feeling none have been tested or to the vet.
You need to find a way to get her to a veterinarian so she can be checked out and most important get her shots. This video appears to be about 2 years old now so I hope you have had her spayed.

Canned food is really expensive for those people. But yet they love animals and share everything they can. I knew such an old lady. Everyone does what he can spare by his own means.

Even fish is ok. This is such a heartwarming video, however it may be best to give the cat up for adoption if they want the cat off the street with a good, long life and a healthy home or at least see a vet if possible. If they want it to stay as a street cat then rice may be ok sometimes but the cat has to hunt for rodents itself.

There are OTHER explanations for why they'd downvote it, like for instance how long were they letting her shiver at the beginning without even bothering to try to warm her up with so much as a blanket. You can't say that so fast & simple! As some of the scenes here should be bothering some to well educated people's eyes ! Yes they are beautiful hearted rescures , but they can't be so ignorant as that only hurt & kill animals! Feeding cats only rice is a very very NO NO! DANGEROUS THING TO DO as they are 100% CARNIVORES !!! They can develop hepatic lipedosis & right heart failure ! BOTH WILL BE FATAL IF NOT TREATED! ESPECIALLY the heart issue ! I have been to Indonesia. It’s not a rich country with a lot of domestic pets. (I live in Korea and have a good job, but vet costs for my street kitty have been expensive). We all do what we can. Your compassion and chicken and rice are better than starving. Peace and love to you!
A comparison: I think it is less expensive to give good food with enough protein (rice without meat is inadequate) than to pay a vet lateron when the kitties get sick because of malnutrional disease.
Have these breed only such a short tail like a lynx or what happened to them? That kitten isn't ugly, the kitten is ill and malnourished and needs help. Thanks this people the poor kitten has a chance to have a better live. But I also think, that these cats needs good cat-food. Rice ist not enough.
I've noticed many Southeast Asian street cats have an endless variety of tail twists and lengths. Probably the same genetics that were refined to become the Japanese Bobtail. The tail is never missing like in a Manx.

Most natural food for cats in uk is rice and chicken or fish...better than most tins of cat food full of Factory sweep ups and wheat

You can't say that so fast & simple! As some of the scenes here should be bothering some to well educated people's eyes ! Yes they are beautiful hearted rescures , but they can't be so ignorant as that only hurt & kill animals! Feeding cats only rice is a very very NO NO! DANGEROUS THING TO DO as they are 100% CARNIVORES !!! They can develop hepatic lipedosis & right heart failure ! BOTH WILL BE FATAL IF NOT TREATED! ESPECIALLY the heart issue ! It can be a quick death!!!

I have been to Indonesia. It’s not a rich country with a lot of domestic pets. (I live in Korea and have a good job, but vet costs for my street kitty have been expensive). We all do what we can. Your compassion and chicken and rice are better than starving. Peace and love to you!

A comparison: I think it is less expensive to give good food with enough protein (rice without meat is inadequate) than to pay a vet lateron when the kitties get sick because of malnutrional disease.
Saving the life of any animal is a gift only reserved for angels. Animal abusers will never know how amazing it feels....

His face is so exotic, like with human features because of the dark areas around the eyes. I would fall in love right away. Lucky little one :)

Yes! I have cats at home . I feed them rice wth mixed viand, like cook fish or meat somtimes selected vegetables ..

That kitten isn't ugly, the kitten is ill and malnourished and needs help. Thanks this people the poor kitten has a chance to have a better live. But I also think, that these cats needs good cat-food. Rice ist not enough.

I've noticed many Southeast Asian street cats have an endless variety of tail twists and lengths. Probably the same genetics that were refined to become the Japanese Bobtail. The tail is never missing like in a Manx.
