I work for a large construction company and we collect and donate clothes to the trussell trust and also food to a local food bank. This month we are collecting Christmas / seasonal foods for them. We love getting involved with the community. It gives us all a really good feeling to assist those less fortunate. Every little helps x

I really don’t like most of the so-called “party food” that’s available at this time of year, to my mind it’s generally overpriced and fairly tasteless. I like making my own, and the one good thing about this stuff is it gives you lots of ideas. One year I found some mini Yorkshire puds and filled them with some thin-sliced beef and horseradish mayo, cuz I’d seen them somewhere - they went down an absolute storm but sadly I’ve never found mini Yorkies since!

A good way of making them go further. I have to say a lot of these nibbles are repeats of the stores previous years, they are running out of ideas. Tesco has a few new canapés that look more interesting this year. We too do the picky bits tea and not the party. It is fun and cheaper! 😊 Mum Wendy, loved your Christmas Jumper. Xx

Always love seeing you all together. Feels so warm and cosy. I miss family days like that. Regarding the snacks, we don't really eat snacks as such, tend to stick to meals but I did like the sound of the fondue bites and the crisps. Also even though the Tesco mince pies were good, I'm a sucker for more pastry so would prefer to go for a full pastry lid. Great vid. (P.S. I have recently bought some KP cheese footballs and some mini cheddars for people to nibble) but nobody's eating them apart from me. Shouldn't have bothered! 🤦
Tesco finest beef and horseradish are delicious too but I’ll try those Aldi ones. I treated myself to some organic German mixed spiced soft cookies from Abel & Cole they were delicious too
Love your Mum’s sweatshirt - where’s it from? I don’t agree with Dad’s comment about men liking cheese more. My husband hates cheese in any form and won’t go near it, whereas my daughters and I love cheese! ❤

@@wendywatchit Hi Wendy, we have similar foods but with our hot weather at Christmas, we do like to have seafood like prawns, hams, pavlovas, fresh fruits like cherries & mangoes, my family loves having a BBQ on boxing day while enjoying the beach lol...we love our minced pies & fruits cakes too, my background is Italian so we do have some Italian traditions like eating Panettone (christmas fruit cake) & having a pasta dish like a lasagne or Tortellini...wishing u all a very Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 😀

I miss M&S prawn toast!! So, as I can't get it here.. I made it from scratch and cooked it in the air fryer. A lot more work, but it was delicious 😋!
