    What do you all think of the title of this video? We have debated a title of what we will call this series for some time and finally settled on The Firing Line. We will add these to our Sunday rotation of videos with the Camp Fire series and Zombie Shoots.

      Of course "The Brian Pearce and Son's Gun Review Do Dah Special " Has a nice ring to it as well !!

    First, I really like the description being displayed as each one of you discussed the gun you've brought, especially price point. Different perspectives of each gun is a good thing. Mr. Pearce has a knowledge base that is deep, and is able to convey that knowledge effectively. 👏 God Bless America 🇺🇸.

    As a family, you keep the light bills paid at the component companies! I always enjoy the camaraderie and good hearted competition between y’all. I love shooting my ‘73 (in .357) and PC carbine - same concept, 150 years difference. As a title: The FAFO Family Facts & Fun Hour

    Thanks, I enjoyed that. I only own one of the models shot here - the Ruger PC Carbine. I like mine. And I thought of another idea for a vid topic or theme - you may have done something like this already but how about recreating hunting scenarios/shots that you've experienced. Like you shot an elk at 224 yards and then again after it started running - you'd have to rig up a target that would move horizontally after being hit.... or maybe a charging buffalo - I do recall Brian hunting water buffalo with his Marlin 1895 45-70 with hot loads. I think that involved several shots... you could shoot and then move yourself and then shoot again. Also recall deer taken with a Colt SAA in 45 Colt with top standard pressure loads. You can always time it and make it a competition as I know you like that.

    You guys have a great channel going. Some guys that actually use their firearms, know about them, and know how to use them. So tired of the 100s of other channels mag dumping an AR on a piece of paper and pretend they’re clearing a room. Way to go guys👍🏻

    I liked this format its nice to see different feedback from different users. I had a uberti sharps once that produced such horrible felt recoil i had to spend time with the smaller rifles to get over the flinch. It went on its way and now a 1886 Winchester sits in its place. I have a uberti 1873 45 colt rifle and everyone that shoots it absolutely loves it. Uberti definitely hit a home run with it. I want another in a 357 or a 32 wcf but they get a little heavy. That 45 is really a great balance of usefulness and ergonomics.

    Great video, I have 2 cimarron 73's, a 32wcf and 44 special. Both are nice shooters, the only drawback is the 44 shoots semi wad cutters super, but they don't feed well because of the ridge on the edge of the bullet. Cimarron recommends round nose bullets, but the 250gr semi wad cutters do a better job on game.

    • @PearceBrothersGearGuide
      @PearceBrothersGearGuide  2 месяца назад +1

      You can have a slight bevel put on the chamber breech that will usually permit them to feed swc style bullets. And yes, you're right....the Uberti 1873's are great rifles and accurate too. Thanks for watching.

    Great video
    I am curious, about what is the trigger pull on the Sharps when unset ?
    Also on the 1873 can they be bought in the 38-40 or 44-40 the bottleneck cartridges that the 1873 Made its reputation with ?
    Thanks again for the video

    • @PearceBrothersGearGuide
      @PearceBrothersGearGuide  2 месяца назад

      I'll have to measure pull weight without the set trigger. And yes they do offer them in 44-40 and I belive they have made runs of them in 38-40

    Is that a different mic/camera? I like the sound of the firearms better here than the other setup which made more of a "thpp" sound instead of a "BANG" if that makes sense. (Sound is important on a gun channel!) Cheers!

      @PearceBrothersGearGuide  2 месяца назад +1

      We've gone through a few mics trying to find a good one. I think we finally found one that's good enough and have learned our editing better so we can make the sound turn out a little better

    Your intro showed a single action “Colt”, presumably loaded, then “spun”. Alex Baldwin would be proud.

      Twirling the single action is certainly old school. But Porter seems highly conscious and aware and knows the condition of the cylinder under the hammer. Remember, he learned from the best. I'd have no discomfort shooting with any of these guys.

      There's a big difference between a pretend Hollywood "gunslinger" and the real deal, that knows how to handle a gun, safely and knowledgeably... being amongst one of the Pearce Brothers doing that maneuver with a SA revolver, would worry me a lot less than driving on the freeway.
