As a Shu Kingdom fan, the very first mission being a team up with Guan Yu to bust up corrupt government officials was absolutely incredible… and this song remix brought me back to my childhood. Guan Yu was the first DW character I ever played back in the days of the PS2 era. I got into DW with 3 and 4… and the three Oath Brothers of Shu were my mains. So playing as Ziluan (who I named after my Empires character, Liu Jin) and charging through the first mission with my first DW hero by my side… took me back to my childhood. I never thought I’d have cried tears of joy for a DW game… but Origins did that. Just… wow.
this kicking in immediately instantly teleported me back to 2004 sitting on my friend's couch playing co-op on the ps2. they knew what they were doing and i love them for it
i remember getting all the Extreme Legends weapons in COOP with my friend , some were pretty hard to do alone (I got all the weapon, when you had few games back then you did 100% even before trophies) i probably still have the save somewhere XD
The moment this song came on in the first scenario, I knew this game was a good purchase. Can't wait for it to come on Spotify so I can add it to my FFXIV raiding playlist as well!
I literally just started up the game, alt-tabbed and went looking for this song. I'll be damned, if I've expected to hear something this good being a minute into the game and haven't even finished the tutorial.

I almost cried with this in the first fucking level of all places. Its my favkrite song in the series and its such a good game. Honestly i miss the weird synthy stuff and the flute but this version sounds so much more like full in its sound and not as painfully treble sided

I honestly thought the Two Qiaos would make it in (due to Zhuge Liang historically revealing to Zhou Yu that Cao Cao “wanted” the Two Qiaos for himself), but it seems I was wrong. I need to play Wu and Shu’s story mode next. I finished Wei recently, but I wanna save Dian Wei and Guo Jia first.
