Being a child of the mid 50s and becoming a teen in 1969, Lovecraft was pretty much a must read for those of us into monsters, science-fiction, comics and the like. Very weird reading at first and then read a little bit about Lovecraft himself. Very interesting though haven't returned to much as time continues to pass. But the graphic novels you showed, particularly Volume 1, sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing the graphic novels on this episode, Pete. And a special shout out to Craig Kaminski for sharing these, too.
The interpretation of The Rats in the Walls has to be a classic - the hallucinatory ending is nerve searing! Richard Corben also adapted it for graphic form which is also a highpoint of comic adaptation! I thought these volumes were very good, with (for me) The Temple being the stand out story of volume 2.

So great to see you cover the independent comics OUTSIDE OF the so-called 'Big Two'😊😊😊
Very cool inside the cover Pete. HP Lovecraft is one of my favorite horror writers including Steven Ligotti and Ramsey Campbell. Thank you.
You will enjoy this one Sal!
Glad you enjoyed the books, Pete! 😄
Lovecraft is one of my favorites! I will have to check these out!
Read quite a few Lovecraft books. These look really cool. Thanks Pete!
Thanks, Pete. I just added "Dark Victory", again by Loeb and Sales to my Batman collection. Now I know who the "Hangman" is.!

Do you have a favourite Lovecraft film adaptation?
Maybe From Beyond?
