Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars - The Director's Cut, is an update to one of the most popular adventures ever written, and boasts an all-new story arc woven into the original plot. With new facial animations drawn by Dave Gibbons (co-creator of Watchmen), enhanced graphics and audio, a context-sensitive help system designed for those stumped by the game's ingenious puzzles, new mini-games and puzzles, and a new perspective on one of gaming's most celebrated plots, Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars - The Director's Cut is an essential adventure for fans old and new.
Yeah, it's a classic from the golden era of adventure games. This one is actually a remake with additional story sections. And the audio between the two is pretty easy to spot, this is what games used to sound like. :)
@@John-nb6ep The general consensus seems to be that the original game was better. The added story and changed intro rubs fans the wrong way. But you do get the original game as well with this version, it's just mixed with new content. So it's up to you to decide. Do you want the original story only or something a little extra that's not as good.
@@John-nb6ep It doesn't change the original story, it adds to it. In this version you start with Nico's chapter that's new for example, then you get to George's part which is the original intro.
WOW! This game is the first game Ive played using English subtitles and audio.I remember the time when I had to look up words crazily frequently cause my first launguage is not English.😂
I feel that adding that nico section to the very beginning was a mistake. The original begining was very iconic, and this just hits different, a less impactful start to a fantastic adventure. The original voice acting was amazing and gave the perfect amount of goofy to a serious murder mystery.
The music is what really makes this game such an old school action adventure movie. Love this game and the 2nd and the 5th, the 3rd was okay but the 4th was too weird for me.
